It was a pleasure to meet Todd and he immediately bonded with Albert. It was nice to spend an evening with Todd before we left for our holiday as I was reassured Albert would be well cared for. The house was clean and tidy when we returned home and Albert was obviously relaxed in Todd’s company. I think he particularly enjoyed going to the local pub with Todd as he gets lots of attention there and Todd got to enjoy a few English roast dinners too! Thanks Todd your care of Albert was very much appreciated

I gave Vanessa a tour of the house and instructions, mostly for our dog Donut. We came home to find the patio door unlocked, creamers in the Nespresso machine (and left there soiled and spoiled). She left hair all over the bathroom floor and toothpaste inside the sinks. She ran out of dog poop bags, and left the poop in the yard instead of asking where more bag could be found. We found a piece of chewed wire, so not sure what he chewed through. Vanessa wasn't communicative and only gave updates if I asked how Donut was.

Maria went above and beyond to take care of my cat while I was away. She was communicative and understanding even when my cat was throwing tantrums at her. She made sure my cat's comfort comes first. I was grateful to have her as Momo's sitter

Magdalena

Magdalena had an emergency early on so left Sebastian to manage on his own. That's why a team sit is good! My dog probably had longer periods alone than we were expecting but at least there was no interruption. I believe Sebastian made extra efforts to adjust his work schedule to come home when the dog needed to be walked. I don't speak spanish very well but they tolerated my efforts and used as much English as they could. Texting and translation apps were enough to have good communication. They could have left the house cleaner by sweeping the floor and putting away items used. However the most important things were good care of my dog and trustworthiness which I was satisfied with. I think it would have been even better under different circumstances had Magdalena been able to stay the full two weeks.

Felt so blessed having Jason as a sitter. He was very communicative right out of the gate and FaceTimed with us before he arrived. He found all the instructions for the pets on his own in my listing. His regular updates and amazing pictures gave us peace of mind. He even sent some videos of the dogs playing. House was in perfect condition when we arrived and he started laundry. He and his son were so sweet and anyone would be very lucky to have him as a sitter.

A most enjoyable sit made exceptional by the kindness and friendliness shown by Anna and the family.  The sheep and pigs were no trouble at all and Hamish was an absolute pleasure to look after, very affectionate and my constant companion.
A lovely house and gardens with plenty of good walking around the area for Hamish and myself to explore on and off the lead. 
I had a thoroughly delightful stay and one which I would highly recommend.

Linda's home was beautiful and the instructions easy to follow and the animals easy and fun to care for as well.
It was easy to converse  back and forth with them when they were gone and we felt  very much at home!
My 15 year old daughter and I  had some mom/daughter time together in the peace filled country setting and will treasure our time away.
I would highly recommend this housesit to anyone who enjoys nature and quiet.Thanks for an awesome place to rest!

Judith

Judith & Micky were lovely hosts. They very kindly collected us from the airport & also gave us the use of Judith's car. Judith cooked us a welcome meal & carefully explained the cats routines. The house is well situated & on a bus route into the town. It is possible to walk to the town & seafront in about half an hour but mostly we used the bus as there are 2 an hour, and they are cheap. Sitges is a beautiful place with many places to eat & drink. It is lovely to walk all the way along the seafront. You can buy a T10 ticket from the train station or a T30 if you want to go further afield. Barcelona & Tarragona are easy to get to on the train. We used the car mostly for going to the supermarket which was about 4 minutes drive away.
The two cats Ilay & Ona are beautiful. Ilay is very shy & it took a while for him to allow me to stroke him & brush him. Ona is very friendly & sweet. Together they are great fun to watch & play with. They have a small garden to play in & they love it. They are not allowed to go outside of the garden & this did cause us some stress as Ilay jumped onto the fence a few times & we were concerned he would escape or hurt himself. We think this may have been because we were strangers. After informing Judith we were able to add additional height to the fencing which helped, although he still did try to climb.
So this is the only reason I give the sit 4 stars instead of 5. It was no fault of Judith & Micky as they didn't realise Ilay would behave this way.
All in all we enjoyed our stay. We were warm & comfortable & the cats were adorable. We would be happy to sit here again with the proviso that there was no chance of the cats escaping the garden.

Alessia

Alessia is a very friendly and accommodating host. She allowed me to stay in the apartment the night before she left which helped Masik trust me. She also offered for me to store my bag at her work on the day I arrived in Oslo, and even made me breakfast before she left!

Masik is an extremely sweet cat, he approached me as soon as I arrived and let me pat him. He would sit with me any time I was on the couch and was very well behaved when exploring the stairway and courtyard outside. He is not aggressive about food and was very patient with feeding times. He is very intelligent and a wonderful companion, I loved spending time with him.

The only thing Masik would not let me do was brush him, he would get very upset and bite me or run away. When Alessia got home I realised this was all an act, as he would tolerate a lot more brushing from her. If Masik doesn't want you to brush him you just have to persevere, he will get over it eventually!

The apartment has everything you need and is very well located, surrounded by shops, restaurants, cafes and parks. I would definitely housesit for Alessia and Masik again!
