We have been using The Village Pets’ services for a couple of years now and no one else compares! Amazing communication and customer service with every interaction. Richard and his team are incredibly trustworthy and reliable.

Richard and Courtney took great care of my diabetic 15 year old dog while I was away for 2 weeks. They gave me daily updates with pictures and videos and expressed concern when she was not acting herself. I received a call with a major concern and an appointment was arranged with the vet to ensure my dog's health was properly taken care of. She requires injections and oral medication so they able to administer her meds. She even got a bath during her stay. Before my dog's boarding, I did a walkthrough, saw where Ivy will be (in a wide pin isolated from the bigger/younger dogs). Afterwards, I had a peace of mind knowing my little old lady would be in good hands. I highly recommend this pet sitter! Thanks for taking care of my fur baby!

This was my first time using the services of The Village Pets after they were highly recommended to me and I couldn't have been more pleased with their care! Taesia did a wonderful job of keeping us informed of our dog's well being throughout our time away and did not hesitate to reach out with questions or concerns. It was clear she truly cared about our dog and wanted to make her feel as happy and comfortable as possible! I did not feel any anxiety or worry throughout our trip thanks to Taesia and The Village Pets and I really appreciate that so much.

I have been using this service for 3-4 years now. I would give this establishment 10/10. My Fur babies are very excited each time we get there. The owners treat my Animals as if their own. The best … my pets sleep for days because the endless hours of play.

I cannot say enough AMAZING things about Richard and Village Pets. My cat is diabetic and needs insulin shots twice a day after food. It's extremely hard to travel and find help knowing that I would have to rely on someone to feed him at 6:45am/pm, and insulin shot at 7am/pm. Village Pets allows me to travel again. I have used their services twice now and never have an issue. I receive daily updates with photos. I HIGHLY recommend using them!

I used Village Pets Pet Sitting for the first time this past week, and I was so happy with the care and attention my dog and cat received from Richard. Richard was 100% reliable throughout my 8-day trip. I received pictures, video, and communication each time he visited. My dog is a fairly nervous rescue dog, and it only took about 10 minutes for her to warm up to Richard during the meet and greet. It was obvious how well he understands and connects with animals. I will definitely use Village Pets again!

Outstanding Pet Sitting! I have a household of 3 cats and 1 big dog. I got a detailed report of each visit with photos and descriptions of my dogs walking habits. I used “That’s So Fetch!” for many years with my sweet pup. Lauren and her team were always so understanding with my complicated work schedule. They were always prompt and took great care of my dog. If I would move, I would make sure it was within their service territory before I would commit to a place- that’s how great they are! When my pup passed, they made me a book with a collection of photos they had taken over the years- it was the absolute sweetest gift. Y’all I’m telling ya, they’re the best!

Had to board my babies last minute and they were so helpful! The website wasn’t working but we were able to text with them and they took care of everything. The team was super responsive over text and sent me photos of all three of my dogs whenever I asked. They also got a cute holiday photo! If I ever have to come to Atlanta again I would 1000% use them again.

I couldn’t imagine a more perfect and safe place to leave my Dog Hercules. He is cared for, loved and he truly thinks it’s the greatest place on earth. The excitement every time he knows he’s going, or when he’s getting picked up, You can’t put a price on that. It gives us extreme comfort knowing he’s well cared for and loved by the best staff when we are busy working. We are very lucky to be apart of such a professional and reliable group of dog lovers. We love That’s So Fetch! We’ve sent our high-energy pup Marzen to TSF for daycare and boarding, and she always comes home happy and wiped out from playing with her new pals. Definitely recommend adding on a bath with boarding so your pup comes home clean and relaxed, and the dog taxi option for pickup/drop-off is a game changer. Highly recommend!

My bear loves daycare, he's made awesome friends! My dog goes crazy with joy whenever they knock on the door to pick him up- he loves everyone that works there. Definitely really happy I listened to the reviews.

We boarded our two dogs and they seemed very happy after their stay! They were very communicative and send daily pictures! We would definitely use them again! We liked how they aren’t too big so our dogs definitely get good care without it just being too many dogs in one area.

This is hands down the best place in Atlanta for your dog boarding, daycare needs, or home visits. Our pup Desi has been acquainted with Lauren and That's So Fetch since she was three month old (she’s now 5 years), after a recommendation from a friend. Since then, That’s So Fetch is truly Desi’s second home, and I can’t imagine at this point ever finding another place I feel as comfortable boarding her. I love that That’s So Fetch is a small, locally owned business, and not a chain, as I feel that the level of attention and care we receive goes above and beyond. TSF is extremely communicative, flexible, and reliable, and has always been able to accommodate last minute daycare requests without any hesitation. The pick up/drop off taxi service is one of our favorite parts, an absolute game changer, and makes working with TSF so easy. It gives us peace of mind to know that TSF will be taking care of Desi, and sometimes we joke about leaving our dog to Lauren in our will ;). Besides all of this, the staff is amazing with our dog, knows her well, and truly and treats her like their own. They know her buddies, and remark when one of her friends is in the car or at daycare that day. We love getting photos of her throughout the day, and joke about her other life she leads with all her dog friends. She always comes home smiling, smelling good, and exhausted. Since Desi has been going since she was so young I attribute her excellent socialization to the time she has spent there and feel that TSF could do great with any dog. I never hesitate to recommend them to friends/neighbors.

A part of me wants to gate keep this facility, but that'd be a huge disservice to other dog owners in ATL! My fiance and I had a couple of poor Rover experiences in the city for boarding purposes, and we decided to try That's So Fetch since the reviews were very positive and it's convenient to where we live. Turns out, our two Australian Shepherds love this place and have done really well for the last few times we've boarded with them! We've interacted with a few different staff members, and everyone has been kind, professional, and responsive to our questions. They're also really great at handling any medical needs/special instructions, which provides a lot of peace of mind. Side note, the taxi service is SO clutch, and makes our lives so much easier! To sum it up - I feel really at ease having my dogs here at That's So Fetch, and I absolutely plan on using them again in the future.

We love this place. We started out as clients of Lauren and Jawad on Rover after our beloved dog sitter left the business of pet sitting. We gradually started booking with them directly. It’s really, really hard to find affordable, high-quality pet care in Atlanta. We had gone through a half dozen people on Rover - all were okay, but we never felt totally comfortable leaving our dogs with them. We had also tried several boarding facilities, but we have a pit mix, and many boarding facilities turn her away due to breed restrictions. Our dogs are high-energy rescue dogs. Both have their own quirks, and despite working with them to try to round out their quirks, they’ll probably never be perfect. We love them to death, and it’s understandably hard to find people who love them as much as we do. Lauren and Jawad changed the game for us. They’ve turned the task of booking pet sitting into something that we actually enjoy doing. We look forward to dropping our pups there because we know they’re in good hands, and we know they are going to have SO much fun. Each time we pick them up, they sleep for hours afterwards (see photo!). We no longer stress about the pups while we’re out of town. We get daily photos of them having the time of their lives - they truly look SO happy in every photo. Also, every single person who works for TSF is so sweet. They are all very kind and patient people. I don’t know how they keep up with all of their clients, but it’s really cool that they recognize the dogs when they come through the door. And at pickup, we have never waited more than 2-3 minutes for the dogs to be harnessed, leashed, and ready to leave. Feels like family! This past booking, we had a flight cancellation resulting in an extra day away, and I texted their number to see if we could extend the booking. They were so kind and quick to respond. They were able to get it sorted quickly and painlessly. Took a lot of stress out of an already stressful day. Really, really appreciate that. Flexibility is really important when it comes to pet care, and they consistently exceed expectations and are understanding when life gets a little crazy. Outside of all of the amazing things I can say about the staff and owners, I think it’s also important to point out that the service price is very reasonable, especially given the quality of the service. It’s priceless to know that your dogs are being cared for, but it’s also nice to not have to take out a second mortgage for pet care. All-in-all, TSF is the best-kept secret in Atlanta. I have no doubt that they will continue to thrive with their truly over-the-top customer service, professional warmth, and genuine and obvious love for animals. We will continue to book with them, and we will always recommend them to our friends and neighbors. Would give 10 stars if I could. Thank you, Lauren, Jawad, and TSF staff - y’all truly rock!

When I was looking for a pet sitter to take care of my 4 month old puppy over the holidays, I was so glad to have found Sitting Pretty Pet Care. Elisa was incredibly accommodating to my situation and promptly found someone on her team who was a great fit for our pet sitting needs. Elisa and Zoey were very professional and thorough. Sitting Pretty has been wonderful for my new adopted pup. They always send photos of her walks and provide full updates of her activity and mood which is much appreciated as I get to know my new family member. I’ve used Sitting Pretty Pet Care for many years and love them. They go above and beyond for me and my pets. They’ve helped out when a flight was cancelled, they’ve come back when my flight was delayed, they are available every time I ask for help. David and his company, which have become more like a family is the BEST of the BEST. Our Finn started as a puppy to learn to socialize 2x a week, he then clearly wanted more hike time with his new buddies so we added another day and then another until finally, he goes every day during the week. He has made great doggie pals, loves dogs now in general, and is a very happy puppy. David , his walker is one of Finn’s favorite people in the world! When our family members are happy, we're happy, right? Connecting with Fetch changed our life and made Finn the happiest dog around!

Dave from Fetch has been walking my pug Cleo on a daily basis for almost a year now. He is reliable and friendly and is great with giving me updates about their daily walks. Dave is also always willing to do extra walks on weeknights if I have to work late or weekends if I'm gone for less than a full day. I have also used their service for overnight stays at Dave’s home on numerous occasions - and have always been pleased with the care & attention my dog receives. Dave clearly loves dogs so I know mine is in good hands. He also did a great job of informing me when an alternative dog-walker would be walking Cleo while Dave was away or off. For the price and quality of care you receive with Dave, I highly recommend his services!

We have really enjoyed working with Pack Leaders and Bruno. Bruno and his team are very professional and well-trained with dogs. We have used Pack Leaders for short walks and overnight stays with Bruno, and we feel Bruno really cares of our dog. We are so thankful for PackLeaders! We started using them daily for our two high energy 90 pound dogs after having our first baby and starting a home renovation. Bruno, Patrick, and Cody have all taken the chaos of our home in stride and helped our puppies get the exercise they need while we get used to the newest human addition to our house. They love on our dogs like they are their own pets, and both dogs eagerly wait by the door to hang out with them every day. Especially appreciate the daily reports and pictures we get!

Patrick watched our little reserved malshi this weekend while we were away. We appreciated constant updates and occasional pictures. He took a really good care of her and treated her like her own. Our dog needed to take meds and we knew we could rely on Patrick to give it to her. When we came back, our rascal was already waiting for us at home (as we requested), she was happy and well adjusted, looked like she had a nice weekend. We will definitely be using Pack Leaders in the future.

Patrick and the rest of the team at Pack Leaders have been walking my dogs for years. He is incredibly professional and responsive - I've had to ask for last minute walks before and they're very accommodating. He's incredibly good with my dog (who can be a bit temperamental around big dogs) and gives me a great update after every walk with the most AMAZING photos. I highly recommend Patrick and his team if you need a dog walker in the Midtown area!

It was my 1st time taking my dog for a bath and per the website, I had chosen the "deluxe bath" option which would cost $42 for my medium sized dog. The officials working there were very nice, welcoming and gentle towards my dog. However, when I got back home, I found that I was charged $42 + $25 (Reservation fee for half day daycare). I was surprised since it was not mentioned either on the website or at the front desk. Also, I only dropped my dog off for the bath and picked her up when they called me. So, she wasn't in "daycare". Since the charges were unclear and not promptly conveyed, I am disappointed. EDIT: I updated my initial rating based on the owner's response. The owner Tabitha reached out immediately, apologizing for the discrepancy and refunded the $25 that was incorrectly charged. Thank you so much Tabitha for your prompt responsiveness. Like I mentioned in the original post, the officials were all very kind and caring towards my dog; I was just disappointed for the unaccounted charges. But I understand these things can happen [especially with new personnel], so thanks for correcting it!

We went there for 4 years before Covid. We stopped when we moved bc it was farther away. From what I remember, the service was thorough and impeccable. We started going back just a couple months ago for both boarding and daycare and it’s just not the same. Not sure if they look at feeding instructions thorough or track how much our dog eats. I’d do daycare periodically, but try to avoid boarding. Still a friendly staff and I recommend them! It’s probably the best daycare I’ve found in the Atlanta area (in 9 yrs)!

Our dog has been going to Wagging Tails for 6 years — needless to say, he loves it there. It makes me feel good that he's comfortable going there and always comes home tired from having a fun time. From Tabitha to Bob and all the staff in between, our family knows we can trust the team at Wagging Tails to take care of our pup!

We love Wagging Tails for when we need to go out of town without our furbaby. We know they take great care of our dog. Bob knows all the dogs names and our dog always comes home exhausted.

Love Birdie's family at Wagging Tails! The team there takes great care of her when she's not able to travel with us. She loves socializing in the yard, appreciates a little downtime inside, and always loves a nap at the feet of her favorite caregivers. WE love being able to see her on the doggie cam! Best part is, WT ATL is not a chain. I always feel she's in great hands at WT!

We love this place! This is Ceasar's home away from home. He boards here whenever we are away and we try to bring him for doggy day care at least once a week (it used to be 2-3 times a week before COVID). Ceasar is always super excited as soon as we pull in the parking lot. I love how flexible the staff is and the online features available to us. He is already spoiled at home and gets more cuddles, kisses and love when he is there at Wagging Tails.

I’m single pawrent (sorry, I had to), and I’ve been taking Leia to Wagging Tails since she was about 6 months - she just turned 2, and we both still LOVE them! I was so hesitant to drop her off for the first time (especially since she was in her land shark puppy phase!), but she had a blast and has frequented there ever since! The staff is wonderful. I feel zero worry leaving Leia, whether it’s for one night or more than a week. Leia legitimately starts “wiggle butting” in the car when she realizes where we are, and will straight up pull me to the door. She loves it! Communication is great too! I’ve had a few times where I’ve needed to update a future reservation, and they respond quickly and are able to help. It takes me 30-45 minutes to get here. There are other daycare/boarding places much closer to me. But I will never take Leia anywhere other than Wagging Tails! Leia is crazy energetic and loves playing with everyone, and I have great peace of mind that she’s being taken care of by people who truly love dogs! I highly recommend Wagging Tails!

Home away from home. Tabatha and wagging tail staff are truly amazing. I will only board my dog with them as they truly gives a personal touch. I’ve tried other boarding places but they are very clinical and with my dogs anxiety it doesn’t work. If you want a place that cares about your dog, wagging tails is for you.

Grateful for the care provided by Cherish Pet Services. Destiny stayed in my home for 5 days while we went out of town and went above and beyond for my senior dog who struggles with change to routine. She was patient, caring and truly took the time to figure out what my girl needed to feel comfortable each day. My other dog has separation anxiety and can't be alone so the care provided was a big request but Destiny and Debbie both worked it out so someone could be there at all times. When we got home the dogs were relaxed and fell right back into routine easily. Thank you!!!

Cherish Pet Services is the absolute best. We needed a 10-night stay with our 4 beagles. Debbie and Destiny at Cherish Pet Services not only took care of our hounds with the instructions we left but also took care of our home while in Europe. They sent daily pics/videos. We came home to an immaculate home. No dog hair on floor. Beds with fresh sheets. Clean water bowls. Mail neatly stacked on table. Trash taken out. Brought in trash can after collection. Watered our plants and even took care during 1 night of frost by covering them. They truly went above and beyond. Highly recommended! Cherish Pet Services were chosen since they are bonded and insured, back-up staff, and provided an in-person interview. With their exemplary services we will continue to choose Cherish Pet Services for our taking care of our fur babies!

I was so pleased with the care Carrie gave my two cats. She sent photos or a video every time she visited and both cats were always walking towards her and looking content. They seemed comfortable with her and I was too. I’ve already requested her for next time.

We rarely leave our pups, but we felt so comfortable leaving them with Allie from the team at Pampered Pet Care and Sitting! Since one of our dogs has terrible separation anxiety, we did the 24 hour overnight in home pet sitting which worked out perfectly. I have Maximus (Max) a Great Dane pup with lots of energy and he can be a handful! He is pretty good overall but still working on some manners! I needed someone to visit 3 times a day while I went home for the Holidays and I have also used them for daily visits when Max needed a midday visit while I was as work. Cherish Pet Services has been invaluable to me knowing my BIG baby is in great hands! And they are always flexible if I need to change the schedule or add additional visits!! They also update me if they notice anything different with Max's - eating, making sure he does his business, anything physical they see….which is very helpful to make sure there are no bigger issues! And Max loves his visits - especially with Josh!! Thank you for all you do Cherish Pet Services!!

We had, I think, am unusual request to have a dog sitter at our hotel while we were visiting Atlanta. I was afraid my Bichon would bark while we were out to dinner and the symphony. Pampered Pets was able to accommodate us, and we had a great sitter in Veronica. Prompt, friendly, attentive to our dog, and a joy to interact with. The next time we’re in town, we’ll ask for her again!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about City Dogz! They're the best dog daycare in Atlanta. Its clean, safe and they have the largest yard amongst all daycares in the city. My pup absolutely loves CD and I 100% feel safe about boarding her here - which I can't say about other facilities. From experience, CD takes great care of their dogs, keeps them active and even makes time to train/teach new tricks. What sets the daycare apart is the incredible communication. They provide daily updates and even a pup report card that includes pictures. If you're looking for a dog daycare that combines safety, fun and a true love for dogs, City Dogz is your place.

I love taking my fur baby to City Dogz! I love that when I drop her off, I can see how her day is going by watching their instagram stories. The report card and pictures (photos shown were taken at the facility) they send you after their “vibe check” is ADORABLE! Its in a convenient location in route to work, and close to home as well. What really sealed the deal for me is that they accept pit bulls. If you have a pitty, you know it’s very difficult to board and have daycare options due to the negative stigma around the breed. Zhuri is a puppy full of energy, but after a day of play at City Dogz she comes home chill and ready for cuddles. I highly recommend!

Did some thorough research for a great dog school for my pup and discovered City Dogz. Always super pleased with the team. The owner and her team gave me peace of mind when I had to travel recently after my dog had surgery. You can tell there’s attention to the small things here. Definitely recommend

We love City Dogz! 🐾 We board and we daycare! 🥰 My doodle-noodle gets spoiled with lots of love, play-time, and belly rubs. I get peace of mind knowing she is happy and in great hands! We also love the add-on services. Baths, the photo ops, and the lick mat are our favorites! 🤗 The staff is awesome and the owner is fully engaged with the team and the pups. City Dogz Atlanta Rocks!

I didn’t even know that dog care could be so amazing before I found this place. I have both a puppy and a senior dog, so they each have their particular emotional/training/health needs. The staff clearly treats my pups with so much love, while they also work with me on any issues that they may have. They are knowledgeable, communicative, and invested. My dogs come home happy, clean, and healthy, with training reinforced. It’s been life changing because now I can travel without constantly worrying about my dogs, since I know they’re in getting such good care.

I love taking my dog to City Dogz! She is always happy to get there and spend the day getting lots of love and attention. I am happy that she is able to get some outdoor playtime while I am at work. All of the staff are so kind and truly love all of the dogs that are in their care!

My Milo just started attending this daycare. And I would say we are happy with City Dogz Atl. The location is perfect. They offer a wide variety of additional services, the hours are great, and the staff respond quickly and with care. After the first visit, Milo was so happy to jump in the caregiver's arms. I will say he definitely loves it here. I wish I did not have to pay for report cards on my pup, but I have no clue what is standard in this arena.

If you're looking for a safe and fun place to take your furry friend, look no further than City Dogz! My frenchie Blue has been attending this daycare for several months now and I couldn't be happier with the care she receives. The owners clearly love dogs and go out of their way to make sure each and every pup is happy and comfortable. Blue is always so excited to see her favorite staff members and canine friends. Overall, I can't recommend City Dogz enough. They truly go above and beyond to provide a fun and safe environment for dogs, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. I feel so lucky to have found such a great place for Blue to play and socialize!

I already love this place. My puppy, Logik, went yesterday for his vibe check. I was so scared that he would be too much to handle because he has so much energy. They handled it so well and he got a good report card. I can’t wait for him to start going more because I know he loves other dogs and it is less than 10 minutes from the house.

My dog adores the staff, and so do I. Always friendly, willing to work with you and understands elderly canines. Affordable compared to others in the area, has on site grooming (bath, nail trim, teeth cleaning), secure locks to prevent dog thefts and cameras everywhere so you can watch your fur baby while you're away. Parking is behind the building, walk to the street to enter. They will see you coming and buzz you in the front door. For large dogs I believe you can pick up at the back gate. The dogs are free roaming for the exception of mealtime. Staff is on site and with the dogs 24/7. The majority of the facility is indoors, with an outdoor play area. Each area is separated to prevent injuries. Many ear scritches are given.

First off, there was easy, convenient parking in the back for drop off which is saying a lot for this area of ATL. The staff were amazing with my pup! She can be really shy and this was her first time at this daycare since we were just passing through town. I also get pretty nervous for her, so the cameras were super helpful and again, in just 2 daycare stays, I really grew to trust the staff. I only wish I could afford to tip them more. The process for getting started was also very easy and quick which was so helpful for our roadtrip. Plus, they didn't charge extra for a temperament test. I have no negatives that I experienced.

We took our dog here exclusively for boarding and daycare when we lived in Atlanta. She absolutely loved going and always came home tired….which is great especially when you have a very high-energy dog. Only reason we stopped taking her was because we moved out of the area and we certainly miss Bark ATL!

I have been using Bark ATL for about 5 months now, ever since my new rescue was ready. The parking lot is a little cramped but that doesn't change the great service provided. The staff have always been sweet and professional. On the cameras you can see them giving affection to the dogs as well as generally looking after them. I love watching my dog play with other dogs when I go into the office. It is so nice to have somewhere I feel comfortable leaving her when I need to travel. I have no complaints about the service my dog and I have received. She is very wary of people and she has warmed up to a few of the staff, which I think says it all.

I’ve been boarding my dog (goldendoodle, age 2) here for more than 2 years. Highly recommend this place! My dog comes back tired and happy. She knows when we pull into their parking lot and gets super excited. The staff all know us by name. There’s never been any incidents or concerns. They’re very flexible in changing reservations. The only downside is that she comes back a little smelly from all the dogs — thankfully they have a bathing service. If only they did haircuts! Bark ATL is our favorite dog boarding by far.

BarkATL is our go-to for boarding our Lucy (a 42 lb mid sized rescue). Lucy cannot be in cramped spaced like a kennel/cage so it's wonderful that Lucy can be out in an open room with the other dogs! Also, BarkATL has live cameras that allow me to check in on her during the day. She is usually sleeping, playing with the other dogs, or playing with the nice staff who regulsrly interact with the dogs throughout the day. I recommend BarkATL!

We were visiting from out of town and boarded our dogs. We are so pleased with how well they took care of our dogs. Love they have cameras to look in on your pups. The staff was very friendly! Our dogs stayed overnight. Our puppy has been sleeping since we picked her up today. I can tell she got lots of fun play time. I would highly recommend this kennel!

My pups have been going to BarkATL for 5+ years now. They offer a discount for more than one dog and packages, which is nice. They always treat them with the utmost care. My dogs love going to “school” when I go to work and are always super excited to see their friends. Highly recommend!

I agree with several of the negative reviews I'm reading here! I have used several doggy daycare facilities throughout Atlanta, and the only one I truly can't stand is Bark ATL. I took my dog to them for daycare when he was about 7 months old. He went for his first day, did the temperament test, and I received no negative feedback. The second time I used them for daycare, one of the staff came out to talk to me when I picked up Tucker. They let me know that Tucker was "barking too much at other dogs" and "would not come when called". Uh, what? You run a doggy daycare and my dog is barking too much? And my puppy doesn't always listen to you calling him when he is distracted by other dogs he would rather be playing with? SHOCKER! I was told that Tucker could not return to the facility until he had gone through obedience training, which he was already scheduled for a board and train the next month but I never bothered returning to Bark ATL. At that time and today, he has gone to multiple other daycares countless times and I have never received a complaint from any of them. They came off as way too selective in the dogs they were willing to watch and I didn't like that. Plenty of other awesome doggy daycares in the city that offer much better service and let dogs be dogs!

I cannot praise this place enough. We board our hound pretty often when we're out of town and we always have a good feeling about leaving our furry family member there. The people genuinely love dogs and never complain about my hound's loud constant bark or his mischievous ways. He's genuinely excited about going to BarkATL. The best feature is the Bark Cams which let me catch a glimpse of him having fun. He isn't stuck in a cage for 12 hours at night which is important to me as they all sleep in the common area. The courtyard allows them to get some fresh air. The staff have been nothing but kind and very flexible with changing requests.
