Alfie! What a beautiful, lovely cat, and a truly wonderful few weeks we had sitting for him. We feel so lucky that Karen and Ian chose us to stay in their home in Frome. He's got a lovely nature and didn't take too long to warm up to us. He also spends a lot of time asleep and was absolutely no bother to look after. He's also really smart, seeming to recognise his name and being able to sit on command. Rare for a cat! It was brilliant to speak with Karen and Ian and then to meet then both on the day of the sit. They gave us the lowdown but also left all the helpful information, which was very thoughtful. And we were in contact throughout the sit, with them being able to help and respond. There was a bit of a house emergency at one point but they were calm and kind and helped to resolve it ASAP. That was something we fully appreciated and is reflective of what kind, generous people they are. Thank you both so much! The house and garden are beautiful, with the town just a few minutes walk away. We felt so settled in the house and would happily have stayed for a lot longer. There are lots of shops in walking distance, including an Aldi and an Asda. Frome itself is also vibrant and it was super to experience the festival in July. We've done a lot of sits and this was one of our absolute favourites. Such a great experience! Thank you all, we hope to see you again
I spent a lovely 2 weeks at Katie's place with the adorable and cuddly Toulouse. Toulouse is by far one of my favorite cats I’ve met! He’s so fun and playful and cuddly and provided the perfect stress relief during a very hectic week of zoom meetings and work deadlines. Katie’s apartment is really spacious, comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The apartment building also has a nice pool and gym area and is just a few minutes walk away from the marina walk and mall. There’s also a carrefour right on the ground floor of the building with everything you need. Katie was a lovely host and gave me all the info I needed for Toulouse and the apt, as well as a lovely welcome gift! I absolutely loved my time with Toulouse and was super sad to say bye to him when I left. I definitely recommend this sit and would love to come back and hang with Toulouse again!
