Thank you for letting me look after your lovely home and adorable cats, Simon and Symone, Sherry! Her Hillsboro neighbourhood is great—very quiet, but close enough to downtown Portland. And there’s a tonne of shops and grocery stores within a 15-minute walk. Sherry was an excellent communicator, very prompt in responding to any questions I had, and she’s very thorough and detail-oriented.

Tracy had mentioned to me that Kitty's behavior was remarkably human-like, but for the first couple of days, she kept her distance. However, within just a couple of days, she underwent a transformation into the most affectionate and tender companion, signaling that I had earned her trust. Kitty's gentle persistence in offering affection, never being a nuisance, truly sets her apart. Her enjoyment of daytime strolls outside on her own speaks volumes about her character, suggesting that her freedom significantly shapes her well-balanced nature. My overall experience with Kitty has been incredibly rewarding, a testament to not just her unique personality but also to the welcoming and attentive environment provided by Tracy and her husband. They were exceptionally gracious hosts, eager to show me everything and ensure my comfort. The house's location is as convenient as it is picturesque, enhancing the charm of my stay. This entire experience, marked by warmth, care, and the delightful company of Kitty, was truly wonderful.
I recently had the pleasure of pet-sitting Saroo and Fresca, and I must say, it was an absolute delight. Saroo, oh, where do I even begin? This little love bug stole my heart from the moment I met him. His affectionate nature and sweet demeanor made every moment spent with him a joy. I wanted to take him home with me, seriously, as his presence brought so much warmth and happiness into my life. As for Fresca, she may have been a little shy at the beginning, but once she warmed up to me, her true personality shone through. It was incredibly heartwarming to see her blossom and become more comfortable in my presence. Before I knew it, she was by my side, seeking out cuddles and affection just like Saroo. Overall, my experience with Saroo and Fresca was nothing short of wonderful. They both brought so much love and joy into my life during my time with them, and I will cherish the memories we shared forever.
This was a great sit! Matthew was very quick to communicate and had local recommendations ready for us. Maya and Daisy are the sweetest dogs!! They are so friendly, loving and just a pleasure to be around. Our accommodations were very comfortable and the home is in a great Austin neighborhood, with parks and restaurants within walking distance. We would love to sit for Matthew and family again, if the opportunity comes up!
Mike and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Alison's apartment. Jerry is a rascal - but a very sweet boy. Alison is very organized and had all the information we needed to take good care of Jerry. He's very easy to care for - just make sure he gets his meals and his playtime! This part of Los Angeles is very vibrant, and being right on Melrose and with Larchmont Village a 15-minute walk away, there is always a new place to eat or shop. Griffith Park is also close - and a great place to explore. Thanks again for having us, Alison.
