Pooja was positive and communicative throughout, and she fielded this difficult curveball like a pro. It could have been a nightmare situation if we had a less responsible caregiver. Vamsi was the perfect Housesitter. Attentive, responsive, tidy and took amazing care of Pinny. He sent photos from walks, sent check ins and asked any questions before assuming. We’ve had a few Housesitter’s and he’s been the best. We would absolutely recommend him anytime and we know Pinny would be happy to have him back.

Happy to have Heather stay at ours while we were away! Turned out our friends took wee Jet while we were gone, but we wanted to still be able to offer heather a place to stay, lovely person through and through! Look forward to staying in touch and having paths cross again. X

Julia and Faizan were respectful and wonderful hosts. They left the house tidier than needed, and were great with Claus, who is a bit nervous and skeptical. We would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others.

Julia and Vishal did a wonderful job for us. They were very flexible, arriving at our house right on schedule, with enough time for us to show them around. We are away for quite a long time, so needed to split the sit between two sitters. They did the trade-off to the next sitter without a hitch, adjusting their schedule to allow for overlap and giving a really thorough tour for the new sitter. He said the house was left in perfect shape - like no one had even been there. And Springer the cat seems to have taken to them right away. We're really appreciative - thank you Julia and Vishal!

Sam and Alina were great sitters for Marco. They were extremely communicative about their arrival times and about any issues that came up throughout their stay. We were gone for 19 days, which was the longest we've been away from our dog so it was great to get pictures from them so we could feel assured that Marco was in good hands. When we got home, the house was in impeccable condition with all laundry done and folded. Couldn't have asked for a better sit. We would definitely recommend Sam and Alina to any sit in the future.

Once again, Diane and Bud did not disappoint--and they set the bar pretty high the last time they stayed with Ruby! We'd hoped to be done with our remodel project before this visit, but Bud and Diane dealt with the coming and goings of contractors without issue. We received regular updates and photos while we were away--always appreciated!! We came home to a content and resting Ruby and a clean house. We really appreciate the care and love both Ruby and our home receive when Diane and Bud visit! Could we be so lucky to have them visit again?!?!?

Eddie is an absolute DREAM pet/housesitter. We have two pretty needy pets- an elderly cat who needs multiple twice-daily medications, and a high-energy dog who needs a lot of attention and time outside. Eddie took excellent care of both of them, following all of our instructions to a tee. He watered our many plants and left our apartment even cleaner than he found it. And he's incredibly kind, communicative, and friendly! We absolutely LOVED having Eddie housesit for us, and we would have him back anytime. We cannot recommend him highly enough!!!!

Anxhela was an amazing sitter. We needed someone with experience with a stronger dog who tends to pull and is a little reactive but Anxhela did a fantastic job. Was clean, responsible and when our dog fell sick during our trip, took care of her and nursed her back to health. She is timely in her communication and I’d definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter.

Abbie and Megan took wonderful care of our home and dog, Lucy. They spent lots of time with her, and I loved the photos they sent of them brushing her, walking along with her on the trails around the house, and sharing snacks. They are both warm, energetic and outgoing people with whom I felt instantly comfortable. Communication was great and they left our home in perfect condition. Would welcome them again!

Rachel

Rachel sat for our two dogs and two kittens for our first post Covid vaccine trip! We had planned to be away for 6 days, and advertised the sit as such, but then after Rachel had accepted, we realized we could take a few extra days if she was able to stay longer. And being the flexible person she is, Rachel agreed to the change of plans. She was attentive to the pets (we could tell how much they liked her right off the bat), send texts and pictures almost daily to update us on feeding, walks, etc. She took the dogs to their favorite walking trails in her car several times, which was most kind. I was extremely impressed with the consideration and care she gave both us and our home. In a phone call the day before we were due home she asked if she could go into our “wing” of the house to check for any surprises that the kittens might have left and she mentioned some scratches that she’d noticed on a door frame and worried they might have been caused during her stay. I reassured her they were the work of other cats who are no longer with us, and was impressed with her thoroughness and concern for our home. She was communicative, neat, left the house as clean as she found it, and took excellent care of all our pets. I recommend her without reservation. Thank you Rachel for your TLC to both pets and home! We will welcome you back any time.

This was a great sit!  Jen &ZJosh met me for last minute instructions and introduced me to Graham and Juno.  Beautiful, comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood.  Was a pleasure to walk the dogs.  Graham is a sweet, wise old soul; Juno is filled with adventure and wants to please.  I had no problem walking them together as we waited behind cars if meeting another dog walker.  I was tickled to see Juno racing in circles in the big fenced back yard.  I will look forward to sitting again next year.

We had the pleasure of house-sitting for this wonderful homeowner and her two adorable dogs, Austin and Allie. Our time with them was an absolute delight. Austin's sweet and mellow personality made him an excellent companion, always at our feet when we wanted to relax with a good book or watch TV. Allie, on the other hand, along with being a snuggle-bug at night, was the perfect adventure buddy, eager to join us for hikes and always ready for a car ride.

The house itself is a serene retreat, located in a quiet, scenic area just a stone's throw from the beautiful Lake Tahoe. The spacious two-acre property  is well manicured and offers  views of Mt. Rose and the Reno city lights.  The neighborhood is super dog-friendly with nearby parks and hiking trails, which our furry friends loved.

The guest bedroom and full bathroom provided us with a comfortable and private space to stay. We couldn't have asked for a better house-sitting experience. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the perfect opportunity. Thank you for entrusting us with your lovely home and wonderful dogs!

We had the best time looking after Bella and Merlot ! Lisa and Norm are a lovely couple with a beautiful home, they were very responsive to any questions we had about the sit ! The location is great only a 20 minute walk to the sky train into central Vancouver !

I had a great time at this sit! Melanie was warm, welcoming, and generous - I had everything I needed and felt very comfortable!

Beca (dog) is a sweet old thing. She's prone to barking but otherwise super low maintenance, loves belly rubs, and likes more of a "ramble and sniff" than a walk. Sprinter (cat) is adorable and playful, and by the end of my visit he was curling up in my lap at every opportunity. Their routine is simple and leaves you with plenty of time to do your own thing!

The building is lovely and in a fantastic location - you are steps away from the marina and beach, and there are plenty of places within walking distance. I always felt safe and once I figured out the building it was easy to get in, out, and everywhere I needed to go. The balcony is really lovely, 

Melanie was a great communicator and very thoughtful. I couldn't have asked for a better first sit!

A lovely welcome from Patrik and Tanja and their 3 hunting dogs. I looked after two, Rieban and Nalli during my time there. Not a ‘fur baby’ in sight as these boys are smart and know their role in nature, whilst loving time out on the sofa being close.  It was a privilege to stay, appreciate more about life in the north and the kindness of community. 
Patrik and Tanja are responsible hosts, great with communication and generous with their moose fillet and stories. 
This was my first sit and it’s set the bar high!
