I had a lovely week in Valencia taking care of Bets. Dealing with Anna was a pleasure, super easy. She made me feel at home right away. Bets really loves company and was very affectionate and easy to mind. The location of the flat was perfect, very close to a metro station with a direct line to the airport and to the city centre, and just a 15 to 20 minute walk from the beach. I worked from the flat every day and the Wi-Fi was very fast. I really enjoyed the whole experience and would return!
Wonderful couple with a wonderful home and much loved animals. Chip,Mac and Pickels were a delight to take care of. Absolutely no issues. Andrea and Tim were welcoming, understanding. Our girls loved the surroundings and enjoyed all the outdoor animals also. Andrea left clear, well thought out instructions which helped so much. Thank you for a wonderful break with your family.
Kerry was a kind and considerate host. Knowing we had an interest in local coronation festivities, she arranged not just one but two invitations for us to join locals in their celebrations and introduced us to a friend who took us for a long walk. As meeting local people and immersing ourselves in the local landscape and culture is one of the key reasons that we housesit, this was a special treat for us. Robbie is a sweetheart and no trouble at all. The hedgehog was super simple to leave food for although we never actually saw him. Kerry’s home is comfortable and tidy – the guestroom is large with more than enough room for a couple or a single – and Kerry’s garden is stunning. The home is a convenient walk to Banstead High Street with most shoppes, restaurants, and cafes about a 10 minute walk. We would love to return sometime.
I had a great time looking after Scout and Bottom. I loved getting to know them and their personalities during my time with them. It was very enjoyable taking Scout on walks and I got my daily laughs from Bottom when he would meow at me for food (very dramatically). Toby was excellent to communicate with, as was her daughter who I also met. Even though there were some works whilst I was there, the house was comfortable and I had everything I needed. Overall a great experience!
Ben’s house is located in a quiet area a little outside the town of Reading but is connected by an efficient bus service or on foot. The house is very neat, clean and tidy indeed I can say I have never seen an English house organized so well. Ralph is a very adorable chinchilla Persian who ate twice a day and liked the company, working from home I spent really good time with him. In Reading I found very interesting the The Museum of English Rural Life then there is a tea room inside a boat on the Thames. If you are passionate about nature I recommend Baseldon Park where they shot scenes of famous movies and series such as pride and prejudice, Downton Abbey, Bridgerton and many others.
Mukti is so open and warm-hearted – a very curious and gentle cat. He has a lot of charm and is characteristic. He enjoys playing and being petted and brushed. Although he loves going outside, he always stays near Lauren's house and came in when we called him. The immediate neighborhood is very safe and quiet, which is perfect for him to enjoy the fresh air and explore everything. Lauren's home is very charming and has a lot of very good artistic vibrations. Every corner holds an inspiration, be it an interesting book or a decorative treat for the eye. We felt welcome from the first moment we entered the apartment. Lauren's home is in a wonderful and safe neighborhood in beautiful Santa Monica. There is nearby public transportation to get to the beach or downtown Santa Monica. And there are fabulous cafes within walking distance. We not only enjoyed the housesit itself, but also the contact with Lauren. The communication was so nice and Lauren explained to us with great attention to detail how to best care for Mukti and how to find everything in her apartment. We are so very happy with this house sitting experience and caring for loving Mukti. It came together perfectly on every level and was so wonderful. We are super grateful and thank Lauren for this amazing opportunity.
