Megan was a terrific house-sitter and took amazing care of our puppy! She gave him extra attention, walks, and cuddling because he is a young dog. He loved her! She sent photos, updates, and left the house in great shape. Megan is totally responsible. We appreciate her!
Maureen and Martin were lovely, welcoming and hospitable hosts. Their home is a stunning 3/4 storey town house in West Dulwich, with a very pretty garden. Location-wise it is perfect for visiting London, with historic Dulwich at your doorstep, and access to a train station 5 mins walk away which goes to central London. Ellie is such a sweet, playful and friendly cat and it was hard not to fall for her charms! Jasmine is lovely older lady cat and will come sit with you whilst watching TV and purr when petted. Overall, I had a wonderful time staying st Maureen and Martin's house looking after Ellie and Jasmine. I would highly recommend this sit to other cat sitters.
Puff was my snuggle-bug and Zups was always curled up nearby! They love neighborhood walks (together or separately)and were perfect passengers in my truck! I was so lucky to get to meet Anne and James and the pups before my sit, so that Puff and Zu-Pippy had a memory of me when I arrived 2 weeks later. Because of that visit, I knew going in that these brothers can be triggered by sights and sounds to bark. Full-time white noise machines and exhaust fans help a lot, but when a noise gets through, offering a treat is the instant solution. I mean really--treats in the mouth now over an unattainable something outside?!!! Definitely food-motivated! I was really impressed when something came up that was beyond Anne and James' control.... One neighbor (a renter) seems to have a sour attitude about life, including dogs. Anne and James were both very helpful and very supportive of me in setting immediate and firm boundaries when she treated me like fresh blood for her complaints. The lady quit trying by Day 2. The humans and the dogs are only 2 of the highlights of this sit--their condo is in the heart of the wonderful Ballard neighborhood. Just a few blocks walk to the Sunday (year-round!) Farmer's Market, the National Nordic Museum, the Ballard Troll (!), a neighborhood movie theatre, anything you want for independent restaurants and boutique stores, and a local bus stop for everything else. A couple more blocks to Safeway and/or the Rapid Ride D bus stop (20 minutes to downtown). I would absolutely sit for Anne and James again because they love their lovable dogs unconditionally and welcomed me with kindness, generosity, and respect!
Very pleasant experience. The area is beautiful and quiet, the cats are friendly & easy to care for. Communication was always good. Jane (the host) is easygoing, the handover went smoothly.
Nora and Jip are two lovely dogs! Nora is a bit shy at first but one walk is all it takes to win her love. Jip is a little rascal that will give you all the love and cuddles you need. Monica and Gwens home was lovely and homely, communicating with them was easy and they are super welcoming. It was a great experience in a lovely area of Holland.
We really enjoyed looking after Thor, he’s a very sweet natured intelligent bunny (& so soft!). Kunal was super friendly when we met, and made us feel really welcome. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, and we were able to work from home easily whilst spending time with Thor. Thank you!
Katie and Michael made us very welcome at their beautiful and comfortable house. They gave us all the information we needed and more for the housesit. The house is close to Emsworth, a pretty town with walks along the foreshore which were ideal for walking Anna. Anna is a great dog, very affectionate and easy to walk. She was a pleasure to look after. She loves company and also joined us on some travels in our car and was extremely good in the car. Would highly recommend this housesit.
