It was a wonderful experience looking after Jake, Max and Tiger! I enjoyed daily adventures with Jake who is totally lovable and a great companion - he was very well behaved out and about. Tiger took a few days to warm up but after giving him space he was hanging out more and more for pets and playtime. Max is the queen of the house - she also took a little time to relax and it was really rewarding when she did - allowing me to brush her and sit with her. The animals are all clearly well loved and it was a pleasure looking after them. Sonja and family are very generous and welcoming hosts with a beautiful home. Communication from beginning to end was seamless and well organised. I highly recommend this sit and would love to come back again one day. Thank you so much Sonja!
This is a fabulous house in a beautiful rural location with a lovely miniature dachs, Herbie, to look after. Herbie is completely undemanding, as long as you feed him on schedule! He loves company, and is well-behaved on walks. We really enjoyed our time here and meeting our amazing hosts.
This is a magical sit in the Cotswolds! Julia and Mark were very welcoming. My partner and I traveled from the USA to the UK specifically for this sit, and they were wonderful hosts. They cooked us dinner upon arrival, took us to the local pub, and made us feel at home. Communication was easy, their home was prepared for our arrival, and they gave us helpful recommendations for sites to explore in the area. We also enjoyed spending an evening with Mark's mother, who lives next door. The three pups are also wonderful hosts :) Tulla is sweet, Otter is spunky, and Minnow is sassy. All three warmed up to us immediately. The pups go out in the morning and evening for walks before meals, with potty breaks in between. There is a beautiful open field behind the house where the dogs run around. We house sat in March, which meant a lot of rain and mud, so clean up took some time – but we enjoyed it! To manage all three pups, I recommend having two housesitters. During the day and evening, the pups snuggle with each other, which is adorable. Minnow loves to jump on your lap, while Tulla and Otter are easy going and playful. Highly recommended!
it was such a pleasure to care for Meadow. what a sweetheart she is… i fell in love with her instantly and loved every minute of spending time with her. there was a power outage for part of my stay, so Cindy prepared an ice chest for my food and left great instructions as well as information for friends who could care for Meadow in case the storms got worse. her sweet magical cabin is in the middle of the redwoods with a beautiful creek right there. i highly recommend giving yourself the treat of sitting for Meadow and enjoying Cindy’s lovely home.
It was a pleasure sitting for Sarah in her beautiful home. Poppy and Ivy love their walks - we walked along the river in gorgeous parkland to the hamlet nearby where there is a very good pub and tea room. Jim is easy going and likes to come and say hello for a stroke. It is very peaceful and an ideal set up to work from. Sarah has everything in place for sitters and it is all self explanatory. I would highly recommend Sarah as a house to sit for and would go again.
Alex and Jules cooked a lovely meal on our arrival. The house was lovely and comfortable with a very pretty garden. Tilly and Thelma were adorable and very well behaved. There were lovely walks from the doorstep and we managed to visit lots of new places. The village pub had good food. Thelma was full of energy, tilly less so. They were delightful to look after and would definitely recommend to any house sitters.

I could never have asked for a better “dog Auntie.” Truthfully, beautiful Auntie Bobbi treated my love bug, Oliver with more love than I have given him. When I picked him and brought him home I could tell he truly missed her! She treats the dogs even better than an owner. I could go on and on about her…she has a heart of gold as far as watching these precious babies and she is so incredibly reasonable. If you truly love your little furry love, then look no further. She treated Ollie with so much love! She is a god send!!!
My baby Precious (American Bulldog) was pampered and spoiled so much by Bobbi that she came out looking like she had been at a spa for five days. I received tons of updates, pictures and videos while I was away. I highly recommend this wonderful, affectionate and loving woman who has set up a literal hotel for doggies in her own home sweet home.
We left our minpin Nova with Bobbi for 3 weeks and couldn't be happier with the result. Bobbi worked with her every day, walked her, bathed her and truly treated her like her own. We received pictures and videos each day keeping us up to date every step of the way which helped us deal with our "parental" separation anxiety in the most wonderful way. We are truly grateful for her services and the special care she took with Nova while we were away!

She treated Princeton with such love and care and I never had to worry about him when I was traveling and he was with her. Our two pups were so well taken care of and Maiara provided the peace of mind so we could actually relax on our time away knowing that our dogs were cared for as if we were there ourselves. One of our pups is a senior (15.5 year old husky!) who takes medication and Maiara was amazing and patient with him. Senior pups come with their whole own set of special needs and she showed so much compassion and genuine love for dogs. First time Westcoast Paws client and the pet sitter was contracted for 9 days, 2x day, 30 minutes each visit. Wren stayed 8-12 minutes on average and did not show up one full day. She left the door ajar one time, and one cat got out. Luckily, she was able to get her back inside. I explicitly told her we have coyotes in the neighborhood, and on my block, four cats and one dog have gotten caught in the past 3 months. Per the contract, she was to feed the cats and clean the litter box daily, and make sure the water bowl was replenished. Food was set out, labeled along with measuring cup. She managed to feed one cat six cans of prescription food and a large bowl of prescription food, which was an insane amount of food for nine days - The floor around the auto water bowl was overfilled and water on the floor. Westcoast Paws promised pics and updates on how the kitties were doing, but I received zero pics and one update from Adam. Thank God for Ring video. The owner of Westcoast Paws, Adam, was a delight to speak to, but unfortunately, he has to bear some of the responsibilities. Dog walkers & cat sitters are entering our homes and trusted with our beloved pets. I dont believe Wren cared for cats. How difficult is it to clean a litter box.. I told her that one of my cats would NOT use a dirty litter box and that he would poop on the floor if the litter box was dirty. That's exactly what happened! Not once did she clean the litter boxes. We agreed that she was to come no later than 10:00 am and no later than 9:00 pm. She arrived after 12:00 noon and again 6:00 pm or 8:00 pm. One day she arrived at 12:00 and came back at 4:00 pm and the next day 12:00 pm! Never again. Never! If I could edit my review on Thumbtack, I would.

Esther took wonderful care of my two green parrotlets. When we got home they were so calm and happy. I could tell that they had been well treated. The cages, seed trays, and water were clean. The birds are not always easy to care for because they are little nippy escape artists. My husband and I were very pleased.

Adam, the owner, and his team of reliable, responsible, trusted, experienced and loving pet caretakers are exceptional and the only petsitting service I employ and will ever employ. It's clear to me that Lady Baba, my 4 year old and very particular cat (with an even more particular owner), feels genuinely comfortable with them, as she actually let's them pet her and comes to greet them upon first introduction - which is very unusual for her. Adam arranges for an intro visit where you get to meet the sitter, introduce them to your baby, and show them around and walk them through the caretaking protocol. When I met Remal, I knew she was a winner from that very moment. Even when Remal wasn't available, Adam sent another INCREDIBLE petsitter, Natalia. And when neither of them were available (it was a very last minute booking and over a holiday weekend), Adam pulled through with another amazing and loving petsitter, Paula, yet again. Oh, and he is very accommodating to helping you out last minute. Haha. I couldn't recommend Adam and his wonderful and lovely network of petsitters at West Coast Paws more. Caleb has been such an incredible and personable walker. We feel super lucky to have found him and his service! He’s responsive, very friendly, and clearly goes above and beyond for our dog, Wolfie, who loves his walks. We always get great photos from walks too (like the fun portrait below). I would recommend him without hesitation!
Been with Critters for two months now and my babies and I couldn’t be happier. Aaron has been walking my two greyhounds three times a week and he really treats them with as much care and love as I would. I get photos everyday and text updates along the way. Even when June had an injury, Aaron went above and beyond to help carry her down the stairs and be mindful to take her back before my other dog. I can’t recommend critters enough, truly the sweetest humans who are dog people through and through.
Cass and Caleb are fantastic!! My pup is very anxious and they have been so patient and so sweet with him. They treat him so well and I know he feels comfortable and safe with them. Cass and Caleb are incredibly organized and reliable, and make it very easy schedule walks. They also take (the best!) photos of my pup every day, and it’s so nice to get their updates from every walk. 12/10 definitely recommend!!
Caleb & Cassie are phenomenal!! They are wonderful with our dog, Arnold, who is large, in charge, and often a very excitable walker. They're extremely reliable and trustworthy; not once have I worried about Arnold when he's with either of them. They also take the cutest photos and share fun anecdotes of their walks. Westside Pet Sitters has been taking care of my cat Henry every time I go out of town. It's a local service and they knew my apartment and neighborhood from taking care of previous pet owners. Shari is great and did a quick interview to get acquainted with me and Henry, and then does in-house visits which is great for Henry. Email and SMS both work for booking appointments, and she sends pictures every day while I'm gone.

We have been using Westside Pet Sitters 4-5x/week for over 2 years since we adopted our dog and have absolutely loved our experience! Shari is always super communicative, able to accommodate last minute walk requests, and is a delight to work with. Our dog has some leash reactivity and can be a handful to walk, but Shari and her team have always been so sweet with him and have used the same training methods we use, so I've always felt very well aligned with them. It seems that they all truly love animals and understand them. From our experience shopping around prior to choosing Westside, we found their prices to be on par with other local services, but got a much faster, warmer response from Shari and have used her ever since!
We love Country Dog Ranch, we needed a place for our active Belgian Malinois pity mix to go for boarding that knew how to fulfill the needs of our dog. We searched and searched and then a friend referred us to CDR and it has been a life saver we can go on vacation or even send her out for a day and know that she is well taken care of and that she has such a blast out there and always comes back tired. And we love checking the Instagram feed while she is out there to see her having a blast with all the other dogs and playing in the pool.
I am BEYOND satisfied with Dominic’s & Country Dog Ranch service. After needing a place for my Border Collie medium-sized 2-year-old dog to be taken care of. this has been by far the BEST experience that my puppy has had yet. The professionalism, constant communication & well-way responsive messages really did help and went a long way. Videos were sent throughout the stay and no worries about my sweet fur baby. I can’t wait for her stay again soon! I HIGHLY recommend this stay for your puppy! Thank you so very much. We are extremely happy! Ps. The pickup and drop off also goes such a long way! Country Dog Ranch is the best! I know my dog always has a great time because he tries to run to every van that looks like the ones that CDR uses for pickup and drop-off. We have been using Country Dog Ranch for boarding for 3 years and recommend it to all our friends, who now send their dogs to CDR as well. Highly recommend!
The Country Dog Ranch is excellent. I take my dog there every time I have to travel for work or otherwise. I really trust them to take care of my dog Bryant. He always has so much fun there and the owner sends me videos of my dog on walks or in the pool. The owner (Dominique Dewitte) is excellent and very communicative and can arrange for pickups sometimes. Your dog will have a great time there!
My mini goldendoodle, Maisie, has been going here for about a year now, and I cannot say enough good things about this dog daycare. For $50 a day, the dogs are picked up from your home, taken to the daycare/camp for about 8 hours, and then returned back home in the evening. Maisie loves Dominick and his staff, and she always comes back happy and tired. The dogs have 6 acres to play, and there's a pool. Dominick has always been extremely communicative and very easy to work with. He never takes on more dogs than he and his team can comfortably control and handle, which is very appreciated. I recommend Country Dog Ranch to anyone looking for an affordable daycare for their dog,. Truly the best deal around.

Best day care and overnight boarding facility for dogs ever! Dominique is very patient with my rowdy puppy and my elder dog, who needs special care. I trust him completely with both dogs, who have ultimate respect for him. Casey loves going to the ranch for the day, romping and playing with her canine friends, swimming in the pool, running off leash all day! The in-home overnight boarding, pickup and delivery service is fabulous and the online videos of the dogs' activities are great to watch. My pup always comes home at the end of the day tired and happy.
I've been working with Dominique since 2010 and he and his wife run the most wonderful service! He's been taking my dogs twice a week for exercise and socialization, and occasional overnight boarding when I have to go out of town. I will never board my dogs anywhere else given the choice. He is thoughtful and kind and I trust him completely. He also has so much experience with dogs and gives me much needed advice when I ask. I would (and do) recommend his services to everyone!
This place is an absolute blessing! My Australian Cattle Dog stays there regularly while I travel for work and she could not be happier. Dom is an amazing person and a true dog whisperer. He runs The Country Dog Ranch impeccably and it is a beautiful place with rolling hills and open space AND a swimming pool made just for dogs!! Dom is communicative and responsive and posts videos on Facebook so you can see your dog running around having an amazing time. Also, his pick up and drop off service is priceless. I don't know how I'd get by without Dom and his wonderful Country Dog Ranch!
My pup Louie and I love Doggie Goddess! We have been going to the amazing women of Doggie Goddess for about a year now. Not only does Louie spend two days a week there, but he has boarded with them a few times as well. Each member of the staff is so kind, and I can tell they love my dog as if he’s their own. Regardless of the location, Louie comes home each day exhausted (in the best way) from playing and socializing with his pack! It’s incredibly special to find a business in which you can trust the staff to watch over an animal you love, especially one that is cage-free. Doggie Goddess is our dogs home away from home. They treat our mini schnauzer like family. Additionally they are extremely professional and go above and beyond. The facility is extremely clean and our dog has never come home sick after her visits at Doggie Goddess. Traci and her team are amazing. Definitely should recommended 10/10
Can’t say enough. My pup is always happy to see his pup friends and staff at doggie goddess. Everyone is so genuine and enthusiastic about spending time with all the dogs. This place is 10/10. By far the best daycare I have found in LA as they take care of my little drama queen as if he was their own.
My dogs have been going to Doggie Goddess for 10 years. If I could give Doggie Goddess more than 5 stars I would. Traci and her team are amazing. The dogs are always supervised, there is a very balanced pack mentality so the dogs get to have a great time but safety and balance is always happening as well. Traci and her team know all of the dogs, their personalities , quirks and what makes them happy. My dogs can't wait to go there and their sleepovers are the best. There is someone who sleeps with the dogs( which I love). If you are looking for a safe, fun place for daycare and/or boarding, I highly recommend Doggie Goddess.
We love doggie goddess and we won’t take our pup anywhere else. The level of care, love, and attentiveness Traci and her team give my pup is so apparent. My pup is always so tired after a day at doggie goddess because they play and enrich him!! We cannot recommend DG enough and always recommend them to our friends!
I truly would trust Traci and her team with my pup daisys life! They are the absolute best and Daisy loves them with her whole heart. They take the best care of all their pups and love them all like their own
The amazing team of beautiful souls at this business are always sweet and fun; they go above and beyond to have a great time with all the pups. Couldn't recommend their services more. The hours are great. Their rates are worth it. And their location is pretty central from the Westside to mid City.
We love the folks over at Doggie Goddess! Our pup enjoys his time there, and they are super active on socials - which means lots of pics throughout his stay!
I forgot about this place until I get an email from them, so let me warn future pet owners: The worker, Yadira, is a case in unhinged behavior. When I went to pick up my dog, I heard someone angrily yelling at the dogs to be quiet. This worried me so I started filming. From the moment this worker greeted me and opened the door, she had a nasty attitude, was rude, would not listen to my questions, and basically acted like an angry immature high schooler. I had to use de-escalation skills and try to reason with her. Luckily, she didn't see the camera, so I was able to record her behavior without her putting on a mask. She would not let my dog out for almost 4 minutes after I went to pick him up. While my pup whined to come out, she angrily told me that he had tried to snap at her AFTER SHE PULLED HIM BY THE COLLAR. When I asked her why she did this, because I've heard you never do that with a dog you don't own, she proceeded to give me more attitude, giving pseudo-explanations that made no sense. She even lied telling me she's told my husband about my dog having issues (My dog has never had issues at any other day care). When I asked my husband about this, he said he had no idea what she was talking about. She probably had the wrong dog in her deluded mind. I got a call from the owner that day to complain about me. After seeing the video however, the owner did apologize to us and told us Yadira just had a bad day. Unfortunately, I don't want to leave my pup with humans who act psychotic when they have a "bad day." That said, we decided never to bring out pup there where a crazy lady with rage issues will yell at the dogs and pull them by the collar whenever she wants just because that's probably the only time in her day she gets to feel some sort of power.
We’ve tried several L.A. area dog daycare and boarding centers for my high energy, XL girl and BY FAR, HANDS DOWN, we are happiest with Doggie Goddess. The owner and her staff obviously really love and understand all dogs. I feel most relaxed and assured that my baby is in good hands when I drop her here! No time outs or cages, just redirection, when needed! True Pros!
