We love Wagtime! Our dogs look forward to going in, and the staff is so friendly. They know our dogs well and I feel safe bringing them in, knowing they spot anything concerning and give us updates. We have been happy customers for almost three years, and can't imagine anywhere else to send our pups.

This review is a long-time coming! Wagtime has been and continues to be a caring, attentive, clean daycare and one of our dog’s favorite places! Our dog has been attending consistently for three years. Like all living things, our dog went through some periods of overstimulation and overwhelm as a puppy. They were transparent, solution oriented and non-judgmental to develop a plan for his days to be safe and enjoyable. They go above and beyond to get to know the dogs and their families and when life changes occurred they checked in on our dog’s adjustment and even sent sweet cards from the staff to our family. The staff are incredibly friendly and professional and always help to make drop off and pick up a positive experience (especially when our dog decides he doesn’t want to leave and lays in the parking lot 🤪)

Wagtime is great — the facility is clean and well-kept, the staff is friendly and loving…they greet the dogs by name and know all of the dynamics (individually and how they interact with one another). Our dog attends daycare and has also boarded there. The first time we boarded there, we had a first-time sitter who was transporting and caring for our boy. I had expressed my discomfort to the manager, Harleigh, and she went above and beyond to provide updates while he was in their care. I feel completely at ease knowing he’s in great hands and he comes home happy and tired and can’t contain his excitement at drop off (literally drags me in the door). Also love the picture updates on IG (and our boy loves the kiddie pools and homemade treats they sell at the front desk)!

Wagtime Play and Stay deserves more than 5 stars. I have brought my pup Homer here for more than 4 years and I could not have had a better experience. They were so kind, courteous, and attentive the entire time. Homer's had numerous health issues, and the staff there always helped with his various medications and dosage. I am so saddened that I had to relocate and I truly do not know if another daycare will compare. They were genuinely like a family away from home for Homer. If I did not have to relocate, I would still be a customer. Thank you Bryan to you and your team. Truly grateful for all the years.

We had brought our dog to Wagtime for about 6 months no issues. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Last week I dropped our dog about 8am and in about an hour received a text that there was a “scuffle” and he had a gash in his side and needed medical attention. He needed 8 staples to close the wound. This incident was very upsetting as we thought our dog was in a safe place. Apparently the screening process leaves something to be desired or there are just too many dogs in one place. We would never go back.

After our 5-month old Husky puppy experienced a scare at another daycare, I was very hesitant to bring him back to any daycare facility. However, I have been incredibly impressed and reassured by my experience working with Wagtime. On evaluation day, the owner personally spent nearly an hour with me and my dog to go over their evaluation process and our dog’s history and behavior. The employees I’ve met are all incredibly kind, professional and knowledgeable. After just a week of interaction, I can tell this is a place you can truly trust to take care of your dog like you would. We are so thankful that we can reintroduce our dog to daycare somewhere we trust to keep him safe and happy!

Was recommended to Wagtime by a fellow dog owner and am so pleased with their services! We love bringing our puppy a few times every week. She sprints out of the car when we arrive in the parking lot. The staff is very accommodating and knowledgeable of all things canine, they brought our puppy up to speed as to not overwhelm her until now she can stay overnight and have a positive experience. Friendly staff and they are great with my pup! The staff know their dogs and treat them like their own! They have a large outdoor space and indoor spaces. Cute touches like celebrating birthdays each month and posting pictures on Instagram, so I can see what my pup is up to during the work day. My Scout loves it there so much that she often protests leaving!

We love Wagtime they are very knowledgeable about the proper care of the dogs and watch them very carefully. They get breaks throughout the day if needed and have adorable kiddie pools in the hot summer. Prices can’t be beat. Our dog Ollie gets so excited at the mention of daycare and comes home exhausted from a fun day! Highly recommend!!

Leanne from Royal Paws Pet Service is an amazing pet sitter. She’s welcoming, organized, very passionate about animals, and after our first meet, I felt very comfortable hiring her to take care of my Persian cat in my apartment while I’m away on vacation or visiting family. She’s watched my baby, Nimbus, several times this year from short weekend trips away to longer 3 week trips away. My apartment is always spotless when I return home, and she’s very flexible with scheduling visits which is very appreciated especially for those last minute emergencies! I always appreciate the update photos and texts she sends during her visits. The peace of mind of knowing that my baby is well taken care of when I’m away from home is simply priceless. I would highly recommend her to anyone in the Wethersfield area!

Royal Paws Pet Service is undeniably great! After having a very stressful time trying to find a reliable pet sitter last minute when we had to travel due to a family emergency, we were thankful when an acquaintance (highly) recommended Leanne. After hearing about our situation, she found a way to accommodate us and we were so grateful. Our dog Tobi needs special care as he takes medicine and requires a specific diet as well...so we were very nervous having someone we didn’t know care for him. Needless to say, after meeting Leanne, we had full confidence in her ability to care for Tobi. She made sure to follow all instructions regarding his specific diet, which involved cooking some of his food, took care of his medication, and continually updated us as to how he was doing. She was respectful of our home as well and kept it clean-even took the trash out, did our dishes and brought some packages in. Especially appreciated after an exhausting trip. I highly recommend her services; her professionalism and commitment left us satisfied to the fullest! She is a very genuine, dedicated, loving person and far exceeded our expectations when caring for our dog. It was truly the best experience we have ever had with Tobi's care.

I found Leanne at Royal Paws by pure happenstance (aka, just googled a pet care service and she’s the first that popped up) and couldn’t have found a better person to care for my cat! Leanne goes WAY above and beyond in her care for your pets. She doesn’t just ensure that they’re fed and have their basic needs cared for, she gives them love and all the attention they could ever want. 100% could not find a more trustworthy or better person to care for your pets!

Leanne is very attentive and professional since the greeting meeting. She wrote down everything that was important. Even though my pets are shy with other people, she could get along with them very quickly. I was able to travel peacefully because she sent me a lot of news, pictures, videos. I highly recommend Leanne for pet sitting! I have two large mastiffs that are rescues- they are energetic and stubborn. Leanne is so great with them. I have hired her for multiple weekends away and she is prompt, professional, and fun!! My dogs LOVE her! I love the updates and pictures she sends me after each visit so I can relax and enjoy my time away knowing that my dogs are well cared for. She is super communicative and flexible when our schedule changes. It is very clear that Leanne is passionate about animals and strives to give the best care possible to her clients.

Leanne watched my cat smudge for a few days while I was on vacation, and I have nothing but good things to say about her! Every visit she sent pictures and updates on him, and it put me at ease knowing he was with someone that truly cared about him! We boarded our dog Ragnar at Best Friends for 2 weeks. They took such good care of him, taking him out for walks and plays. They even sent us a picture every 3 days of him. He had so much fun there. We even had them give him a bath before we picked him up and he smelled so good. We will definitely be using Best Friends in the future for our boarding needs.

My dog Cole has been going to best friends doggy daycare for many years now and it has always been a great experience. They take very good care of him! I love getting an email from them showing me a picture of Cole, which I think is very sweet. You can tell that they love what they do and I would highly recommend them!

I've been using Best Friends Pet Hotel since 2021, starting when my dog was just 6 months old. He attends camp 6-12 times a month and is currently on the Bronze package, which covers 6 visits per week. I wish they offered an 8-day camp package so I could consistently send him twice a week. As a dedicated dog mom, my pup's safety and happiness are my top priority. From his behavior, it's clear he loves the staff. He excitedly walks into camp and runs to greet the team. When I pick him up, he’s always happy and smiling. Will and Emelie, who often greet us, are knowledgeable, kind, and always ready to answer my questions. My dog adores them and usually doesn’t want to leave when it’s time to go home. Amanda, the new manager, has done an excellent job overseeing the facility. My dog, a healthy and active bully-flat nose pup, needs careful monitoring due to his tendency to reverse sneeze and risk of overheating. The staff are attentive, giving him breaks when needed to ensure his well-being. Cam is one of the consistent camp counselors, she is great. I love the Doggy Day Camp Report Card I get and seeing my dog posted on their instagram smiling ear to ear. Pam is a sweetheart. Many of us know that grooming is not something most dogs love, but Pam handles all the pups with care. She is extra attentive to their individual needs, and when my dog is groomed, he walks out proudly with a cute bandana, smelling like he spent the day at the spa. The lobby could use a bit more design and brightness, but it is always clean and well-maintained. During the recent dog flu outbreak, I was concerned about sending my dog to camp. Will reassured me by explaining the new protocols to maintain cleanliness and safety, which put my mind at ease. I like the camp's main room, which offers easy indoor and outdoor access for the dogs to explore freely. While other dog boarding and camp facilities might look newer and offer additional amenities, they often lack the level of care that Best Friends provides. For me, what matters most is that my dog can run around, play with his friends, and stay safe and happy, which is exactly what he gets at Best Friends.

Huge thank you to the staff at Best Friends for taking care of my two Aussies while I was visiting with family in northern Maine for the weekend. I loved getting the photos of them enjoying a romp in the play area. Both girls came home very happy and groomed to perfection by their in-house groomer, Pam. My blue merle Aussie has a long, wavy coat and Pam got her down to a very adorable and manageable, puppy cut. My red girl is on the shy side and Pam was very patient with her and was able to groom her exactly how I asked.

Lola needed to be in daycare for an extended time and I was very worried about her being away for such a long period. Everything went well and I am super thankful for the care she got and for the multiple updates that the staff provided during her stay

Took my dog to be groomed. The person who groomed cut his hair where I said don’t and didn’t cut it anywhere else! He looks awful. Then I said don’t dry him. I didn’t have to worry. They didn’t even wash him! They lied to my face that he was dried in the cage. I am so mad as they had him for for hours and did nothing.

I have been going to Best Friends Rocky Hill CT for over 15 plus years! I have used boarding and grooming services and taken a tour of where my dog would be staying. My dogs have come back to me happy!!

We take our dog to camp there every week, he loves going! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. They all take care of our dog so much. We would recommend highly!

The staff at Best Friends Pet Hotel take great care of my cat as if she was their own. So I have no reservations about leaving her with this dedicated team aside from the one that I make whenever I leave town.

The staff at Uberdog is amazing! My dog is happy, well-loved, and is able to play all day while I'm at work. The hours are supportive for me when I need to drop my dog early and pick her up late. Uberdog is a huge reassurance to me that my dog is stimulated, socialized and happy!

My pup, Blue, goes to Uberdog on week days. The staff is simply amazing. They always greet us with a smile and call to Blue by his name. The staff truly cares and loves on the dogs who are there. It gives me great peace knowing Blue us with such caring and loving people.

The staff at Uberdog are amazing humans and have helped my anxious girl increase her willingness to build trust with new people. Sarah (i.e. "Friend") has built a special relationship with my pup... I know my girl truly looks forward to seeing her each week (her ears perk up when I ask her if she wants to see "Friend"). The genuine kindness, consistency, dedication, and knowledge of the staff are unmatched.

My puppy LOVES playing at Uberdog. The facility is very clean, the staff is warm and welcoming - every single person knows my dog and every dog that walks in, and they all seem to love working there! My dog is happy and tired out at the end of a play day. I recently needed to leave my puppy for two extended stays (5+ nights). Each time, I was sent text messages with pictures showing me how my dog was doing. The staff takes instructions from the owners and it’s obvious that they pay attention to every detail. I was confident that he was being taken care of and was safe and happy. Any time I have a question, it is answered promptly. My dog and I are so happy to have found this local business!

My dog loves going to Uber Dog. She recognizes dog friends and people friends. She starts making excited noises when we turn on the street. I had also boarded her at Uber Dog and every time has been a success.

My dog is my whole world. Just went on a 10 day vacation and I felt totally comfortable leaving him with the caring & exceptional staff at Uberdog. This is the perfect place for long trips or daytime play if you want your dog to socialize & be well taken care of. Clean facility every time you walk in & dog washing stations for grooming add ons. I can’t say enough good things about this place. They will have my trust always

UPDATE: almost a year later and Uberdog is still my go-to doggy daycare and boarding center for my Pomeranian. Staff has largely stayed the same and I always know I can count on them. Lucina just came back from another boarding weekend at Uberdog and she had a BLAST! When I’m getting ready to go somewhere, as soon as I say “daycare”to Lucina, she knows instantly we’re going to Uberdog and she gets so excited… she practically drags me out the door! Original review: My puppy loves playing at Uberdog - I highly recommend this facility for both doggy daycare and boarding. I’ve brought my puppy here for both and each time she has a blast… to the point where she gets excited when she realizes we’re bringing her to daycare for the day :) The facility is spacious and clean, but the staff are what really make the place great - they’re always super friendly, responsive and helpful. My puppy has been to a few doggy daycare facilities around the country, and I think this is definitely among my favorite facilities that she’s been to. Highly recommend Uberdog to anybody looking to board their dog for the holidays - I’ve had consistently positive experiences and I know I can count on the staff to take good care of my fur baby.

The staff is friendly and very on top of their pet care. We brought our 4 month old Rottweiler to this location to integrate her with other puppies. We are happy with their attention to detail, keeping an eye on the dogs from little too big with care and attention. This is just the beginning of a great relationship with our Rottie fur baby and Überdog!

I cannot say enough about Uberdog. From the facility’s cleanliness, to the high standards of care to the amazing staff who are so kind and loving toward the dogs this is where you want to bring your dog with confidence and trust. Teddy is so excited on his daycare days. He knows when it is time to go to daycare. He runs around the house, goes to get his leash and stands by the door. Once we get there, he knows exactly where to go when the people come to take his leash, he cannot wait on the days it’s time to go. He has so much fun playing with his other friends at daycare. The place as well staffed and there is always a staff member in with the dogs to make sure nobody gets into arguments. I highly recommend Überdog to anyone who wants a day for their dog to play with other ones in a safe environment. You won’t regret it. It’s wonderful to have a tired happy dog at the end of the day.

Leaving a 1-star for now, but I was a customer for 5 years, and in that time their prices for overnight cage free boarding was $55. Just picked up my dog today from boarding to find out that the cost went up by $45 a night and they charged me $100/night for boarding which is absurd. The fact that they can’t tell you what price it’s going to cost on their website Insane and to have a policy like the one that they do. I will not be returning back to them Unless that policy changes and they have their pricing listed on their website.

My dog loved the place. She had so much fun playing with more dogs she met! I would really recromend this place, About an hour in and she is already tuckered out because of all the fun she had. The outside feild is also really nice. It's a nice place for many dogs. In fact, on the car ride she was super happy to go to the place. So, 5 stars out of me

Not only do my husband and I love Wagging Tails, but more importantly our dog, Tucker, does too! We are always welcomed with a smile and the staff knows Tucker well. The daycare offers many fun activities for the dogs and gives daily report cards, giving parents fun memorabilia and the dogs different ways to engage and play with each other. Tucker always comes home exhausted from a day of playing, and his ears perk up when I ask him if he wants to go play at daycare. Wagging tails is the best!

We have been going here for swimming since 2023 and have been loving it so far. We have a golden retriever so he loves swimming and having a pool nearby is amazing, whether the outdoor pool in Wolcott or the indoor pool in West Hartford, we love it all.

Went to a dock diving try it session. We were a little concerned because our dog loves swimming but doesn’t love jumping. The team there was great. They were very patient with Mando but also gave him some tough love when he needed it. Will definitely be going back.

Extremely Disappointed with Negligent Care and Poor Communication Our recent experience has left us deeply concerned about the well-being and safety of the pets under their care. When we picked up our dog from daycare, we immediately noticed he was limping. We immediately called and the staff at the daycare said they noticed...but did not notify us about the limp or any incident that might have caused it. When we spoke with the manager instead of receiving a straightforward explanation, we were met with evasiveness and a complete lack of accountability. He will most certainly not be going back. He would also come home disgusting (smelled like pee, chlorine, and sweat) and thirsty. I wish he never went to that place. We had to bathe him after every daycare visit

I brought a dog to/from daycare occasionally, so my experience is limited, but by all accounts seems like a great facility with great staff. They know the dogs by name of course, and you can tell that they've all developed a unique connection with each animal. They offer half and whole days and have very workable hours for all clients. I recommend!!

I find their online system confusing and difficult to book dock diving sessions. Last time we went they messed up our reservation time and asked me to change my time and I did and they said they would give it to us for free but then charged us for it. Today I tried to book my dog and they asked me to bring in a rabies vaccine, and I found that it expired literally yesterday and she canceled our appt. I come here when I can’t get out to K9 Dock diving in colchester, it is not my first choice😒

My dog seen in the picture below stayed at the west hartford location from 8-12-21 to 8-14-21. He is an 8 month old Rottweiler who has never stayed at any kind of boarding facility. When my pup came home from his visit Saturday evening he was not himself. I called and emailed less then 24hours from the time that he was picked up to inform staff that he most likely has kennel cough. No office manager ever called me back. When I called back not to long ago, I informed staff of what the vet said all I got was what do you want me to do. I will never visit this place again. I will upload pictures of all the dogs he was in close contact with. I am also going to report their unsafe practices to BBB. The facility seemed to be understaffed compared to the ratio of human/dog contact. Never again!!!

Clean facility and helpful friendly staff! I brought my dog here for a private swim in their indoor pool and couldn’t have been happier, nor could he.

Karen has been caring for my cats over the past few years when I travel for business. Those trips can last for days and I feel confident knowing she's looking after them. I especially like that she has a nursing background.considering one of my cats requires medication. She's also very good at 'reading' animals, understanding some are more shy or aloof, and knowing how best to work with each of them. Don't let the 'Canine' part of her company name throw you. She's great with cats too!

Karen is a fantastic pet sitter! We hired her to watch our two kitties while on vacation. One of my cats is afraid of everyone. I knew Karen was a winner when my cat actually let Karen hold her at our first meeting. Karen had no difficulty giving medication and was able to prevent one of my cats from escaping our house (he likes to hunt). She obviously loves animals and I will highly recommend her to anyone I know in need of a pet sitter.

Karen came highly recommended and we are so grateful that her name was given to us. Our dog was in the best of hands-walks, snuggles, you name it! In fact, I think he's disappointed we're back from vacation. Karen, in addition to taking care of Duke, also made sure to bring our trash/recyclable bins out for pick up. She is the best out there for dog care while you're away!

Karen has been walking/caring for our dogs for 7 years, she is reliable, knowledgeable and a great pet sitter. Both of my dogs rush to the door as soon as they hear her car. We highly recommend her!

I met Karen four yrs ago when we bought our puppy, Rigby. She came at noon each day while we were at work to walk him and take him out to pee and poo. We’ve continued to have Karen come during our work week, even though Rigby’s older now, just to have him exercised and socialized with her dogs. We’ve also used Karen each year to dogsit while we’re on summer vacation. Rigby hasn’t had to be kenneled and is comfortable at home while we’re away. Karen has treated Rigby like she does her own dogs. She goes above and beyond a walk, often taking him for romps with other dogs. She is caring and knowledgeable. She has assisted with Rigby’s training. Karen is reliable and flexible when our visit needs to be changed. I would highly recommend her to care for your dog.

Karen has taken wonderful care of our three cats from time to time for over three years. She is reliable, trustworthy, and very caring. I would enthusiastically recommend her to any cat person.

Karen has been walking our dog Beau for the last 5 years. She has been always accommodating to my busy work scheduled and Beau loves his walks with her. I highly recommend her.

As far as the actual service provided...5 star. Jayme was fantastic. My dogs can be a bit skittish when it comes to meeting new people and they warmed up to her quickly. I needed the service for a mid day potty break. I received communications on when she was going to arrive, lots of pictures, and detailed notes. I was a bit surprised when I got the bill, not sure if it was the app they used for scheduling or if I missed something. What I thought was going to be $23 for a 20 minute visit turned out to be $38 ($23 for the visit, $10 for an extra dog - though it was a potty break in a fenced yard, no walk required and a $5 travel fee for being out of range) - I would have been more aggravated if the service wasn't so perfect. The thing that didn't sit well with me was I asked about pricing for my crew for an overnight with all the details 2 dogs, 3 cats, 4 pets requiring medications ( 3 of which are mixed in food and don't require manual pilling etc...) I did not get a response for 2 weeks. And on top of the wait time i still didn't get a direct quote - just a general list and when I did the math myself it was going to be over $200 for their most basic service with all my add ons. Not sure if I was forgotten about but I felt that I was not valued as a client with the lag in response. I found another option that didn't charge for every "add on". * edit- in response to the owners response below the question asked was in private chat- it was just missed- mistake by the company and not the client.

The facilities are top-notch, especially with the recent addition of new turf, which is a great upgrade for outdoor playtime. In all the years we’ve been coming, I’ve never had any major issues. Abbie at Free Range Doggy Day Care has recently been grooming my dog. After several grooming experiences with other groomers I highly recommend Abbie as a #1 dog groomer. He is clean, smooth, very well brushed out with great looking nails and happy. He has never looked and smelled so good. And best of all he likes being with her. Thank you Abbie for taking such good care of Ollie.

I have been bringing my dog to Free Range for a little over 2 years and have always had the best experience. The staff is so wonderful with him and helps allow me to know that he is in good hands during the day! I have also boarded him overnight and he comes back happy!

What a great place to leave your dog for the day or during a vacation. Remy always comes home exhausted and mellow. I even take advantage of their onsite groomer, Abbie. Remy does not like baths but Abbie always gets the job done. His fur is always so clean and smooth. The staff will not disappoint you or your dog.

The groomer Abbie K at Free Range is by far the best groomer for my tempermenatal cocker spaniel who does not liked to be groomed at all. He is about 3 years old and has been to about 5 different groomers. None of them made my dog look so good. Most groomers would actually shave him all over and indicate what a handful he is or give up and ask that he be picked up because they could not handle him. I have had to medicate him in the past that is how much he dislikes the process. Abbie has the patience of a saint and was up to the challenge and no longer is medicated for the process. Henri now has a beautiful coat fully brushed out and looks like his breed. Abbie really is a miracle worker. We bring him every month now for a bath or to be fully groomed. I know how difficult the process is as I tried to groom him myself with all the professional tools and let's just say he looked choppy and uneven. This is why I believe it's so important to tip all dog groomers. Thank you Abbie for your hardwork. I appreciate your perseverance and can do attitude. Henri loves going to daycare here too, I love Saturdays less dogs as during the week.

Found this place by chance when our normal place was booked. Our Great Dane would walk into the old place a little hesitant, now as soon as the car door is opened he is as happy as can be ... Staff is super friendly and throughly enjoy what they do. Update 9/30/22: Wow! they are getting serious upgrades inside and out. Pete the manager was awesome once again. Even with everything going on around him (contractors, people coming and going) he was professional and took the time with us -it's a great feeling when you leave your pet with Pete and his staff; you can walk away with confidence that your pet will be well taken care of and loved.

Free Range is the top dog daycare in the area. Not only is it clean, but the staff is professional and my 2 large breed dogs come home exhausted after a day there which is great for me. The staff is always responsive and they offer a wide range of services including grooming. You will also receive frequent “report cards” that track your dog’s behavior, habits etc… I always trust that my dogs will be well taken care of when I drop them off at Free Range, and their hours of operation are very convenient for the average work schedule as well.

I have been taking my dog Casey there since she was old enough to stay and play. She LOVES it! The staff is very attentive and friendly. Most important, I know she is in good hands so I don't have to worry when I have a long work day. I haven't had to board her, but I wouldn't hesitate to do that if I needed that option. Out of curiosity I tried another place and quickly realized it was a mistake (no personal attention and Casey was nervous). We are sticking with Free Range Doggy Daycare!

I recently booked an appointment with Abbie for the first time for my dog, Opie, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! She was friendly and professional, and she did an amazing job grooming my dog. She left him looking fresh and tidy and kept in contact with me from start to finish. Her attention to detail was impressive, from nail trimming to ear cleaning. My dog came out looking and feeling fantastic! I'll definitely have Abbie treat him again soon!

We have been using David’s Pet Services for many many years! We hired David and his team with our cats for when we went on vacation. We looked forward to our daily updates which always included sweet photos of our babies and often some funny ones thrown in there too. It was always obvious that whomever stopped by enjoyed their job and loved our cats. When we decided to get a puppy earlier this year, I contacted David for his dog walking services even before the puppy arrived! He was excited to work with us again and sad to hear about the passing of our cats. It was a huge stress relief to know that David would be on our puppy raising team and available so I wouldn’t be in “puppy prison”! I also love the ease of the app which wasn’t available back when we had our cats. I fully trust him and his team in our home and I know that in a pinch he will do his best always to help us out. I've been with David's Pet Services from the beginning and he and his team have never let me down. He cared for, walked, fed my golden doodle Rags for much of her life, and she loved seeing them. Lately, due to a health emergency, I needed them to walk my sister's dog, feed her, and feed my cat and they stepped right in, even thought it had been years since we communicated. I always feel secure about the needs of our pets being met with love and a lot of ear and back scratches! They send pictures after every visit and give a report on how the walk, feeding, whatever (even poops!) went. I have the highest regard and trust David's Pet Services employees who come into my house to take care of the cat as does my sister for her dog when I can't be there! Hire them, you won't be sorry. David’s Pet Service offers fantastic communication and thoughtful service. I recently moved to the area and was hoping to book overnights. Prior to contacting David’s Pet Service, I checked neighborhood Facebook pages and contacted a different dog walking/sitting company. I filled out that company’s digital forms and then sent a note explaining my situation, my coverage needs and my dog’s quirks. I didn’t hear back so I reached out to check in and they asked that I send my note through a different method on their app. I did that and when I didn’t hear back again, I reached out and they asked again that I send my note through the different method. I responded that I had sent it through all the methods and then didn’t hear back again for weeks. By contrast, I left David’s a voicemail, he texted the following day with a time he’d reach out, and then we had an open conversation about the booking. While David worked to schedule the booking he kept in touch and followed through. I absolutely love most technological advancements, but when it comes to my family - including my dog and especially with overnights - communication is so important. I will definitely be calling David’s Pet Service again.

I was hesitant to use any service as my dog is a bit of a jerk to put it mildly. His dog walker was so patient in getting to know him. They're complete bffs now. My dog is ALWAYS soooo happy when it's dog walking day. You can see from the pictures my walker provides when they're out, how happy my little dude is. I love the "status reports" the service provides. They're so cute. It shows time start, time done, route of walk, pics, and even if my guy did #1 and/or #2!! I will continue to use David's Pet Services and can't recommend them enough!!

Davids Pet Services are my new “Go To” second family for my fur babies. We have been using David’s Pet Services for a little over six months and have been so impressed! Every walker is so nice and attentive to our three year old golden retriever. They have worked with us to reinforce good walking habits with him. He looks forward to his weekly walks! Their scheduling system is fantastic; it’s so nice to be able to go on there and add an additional walk or two when Baxter needs it. Overall we’ve had a wonderful experience!

My mom’s cats are officially frequent flyers on the DPS express!! We’ve been using DPS to watch our kitties when we go on vacation for over 5 years now. The caregivers always leave lovely step by step accounts of their visits, send us pictures, and make sure the kitties get their pets and playtime. Our resident chonker, Meatloaf, would give DPS 5 out of 5 toe beans 🐾

We highly recommend David's Pet Services if you need to have someone come and take your dog out in the afternoon while you are working as was our situation. Before we started with the dog walkers, the owner, David, came to our home to meet us and our dog, Lila. He was very professional and seemed highly trustworthy which is important to us when selecting a pet service for our dog. The App is very easy to use and provides a lot of useful information, such as who is coming each day and when. The Dog Walkers that came each week were simply wonderful. They were professional, gentle, and kind. The dog walkers send pictures of Lila out on her walk showing us her adventures. Lastly, all of the dog walkers that came to our home seemed very experienced in caring for dogs which was important to us. We highly recommend David's Pet Services if you need one.

Hands down, BEST service I’ve ever had. My pup Poppy is a handful and needs a little extra patience when it comes to nail trims. Every one of the techs who’ve come have been so knowledgeable and kind and absolutely wonderful I can not recommend them more. They always respond in a timely manner and call if they ever run late (which isn’t often) it’s also incredibly easy to make appointments which for a busy person just is a cherry on top.

My cat Oscar has severe fear of dogs think he was attacked by one.Making it difficult to bring him in to grooming places I had Holly come to house to do his nails this morning. She was fabulous and was so marvelous with Oscar. Nails got done with ease and no freaking out on Oscar's part. Thank you Holly

I heard about the nail trim service and decided it was worth a try. Our dog Chloe would get so nervous going to the groomer to have it done. Jenna came on time and made friends with her. She stayed pretty calm throughout the nail trim and it was done in no time. Totally worth the cost to have an at home service with friendly, efficient staff. We will be using their nail trim service again.

All IV Paws Pet Care LLC is where it's at! I have 4 dogs and it's so much easier for someone to come to us than to hassle around and bring all of my dogs somewhere for nail trims. They all have different personalities and two of them are seniors. I have used them twice already for nail trims and they are very responsive and punctual. We were very happy with Candlewick Kennels in Glastonbury, CT. We boarded our furkid dog for 3 days. It was a great process from scheduling to check out. We signed him up for their doggy daycare while he was there so that he wouldn’t be alone all day. He had a free assessment before he arrived to be sure he would be a good candidate for mingling with a group of dogs. He passed and he loved it. We watched him on live CAMS. We knew he was happy. They gave him his meds! Staff is wonderful. He always gets groomed there.

Can’t recommend Candlewick Kennels enough! After a really bad experience at another local daycare/boarding facility, I was hesitant to bring my dog anywhere else — until I found Candlewick Kennels. I know my dog is in great hands here! He absolutely LOVES going to boarding / daycare. The staff is always so pleasant & I can tell they really care about all the dogs. They communicate any concerns immediately & are super responsive. Truly cannot recommend this place enough for any / all of your pet needs :)

This place is awesome. Great, friendly, efficient service at good prices. I had my Bernedoodle puppy’s first grooming done here yesterday and he looks like a brand new pup, in a great way!! Jessica did a fantastic job and we’ll be returning every month for a bath and brush at least until he’s a year old. And will continue to use for grooming.

Candlewick is great! My dogs love staying there and the staff is amazing. They were very accommodating at pick up when there was a misunderstanding on my part. I highly recommend for daycare and boarding.

I have been boarding my dog at Candlewick for the past 2 years. Also am frequently using daycare to keep him socialized. The staff is great and prices are similar to others. I love the web cam so I can check in whenever I want. I highly recommend.

Candlewick is the only place my wife and I are comfortable bringing our dog Iroh. The staff are always friendly, and remember him. Anytime he’s boarded their communication has been top notch. He once had an upset stomach while staying with them, and they called me and made a plan to add rice to his meals and keep us updated. We feel like he is safe and cared for, every single time. Doggie daycare is great, and they have live cameras so you can see how the dogs interact. There is always plenty of staff members. Their groomers are amazing and have an immense amount of patience. My dog is very energetic, and they do amazing work on him and he never comes home stressed. The groomer always checks what we want done first, and he comes home smelling amazing. This facility is 25 minutes from my house and we will never use anyone closer, peace of mind is huge.

Love letting our dog get social experiences here and feel comforted leaving her for extended boarding. Webcam option let's us check in whenever we like and report cards let us know how she behaved when we weren't looking

I don’t want to bring my dog to any other kennel. Some kennels you can sense when your pet does not want to be there if they stand at the door not wanting to go in. At Candlewick my dog has no problem with going with the staff. They really seem to care about peoples pets and not just treat them as an animal. I got texts from the staff when there was anything out of the ordinary happening with my dog. I love getting the snuggle sessions for my dog and getting the selfies texted to me. I would definitely recommend! You feel at ease sending your pet here and aren’t worried they are scared or miserable when you are away.

My dog Teddy previously went to multiple Petco locations over the years for grooming but the stylists always said that he gets nippy with them so recommend going to a private groomer. I have brought Teddy to Candlewick for recurring 7-8x week grooming appointments for the past 4 years and their report card always gives him high praises. This just shows that environment and space really do make a big difference when it comes to our fur babies wellbeing and comfort. I have not done the boarding service yet but will definitely not hesitate if needed to. Their app allows viewing of the playtime areas so you can virtually check to see how the pups are doing as well which is a huge win I think for dog parents. Teddy is an elder dog now so he likes being alone which Candlewick also accommodates for dogs who need to board solo. Overall great services, and super friendly staff! Thanks from me and Teddy!
