We had a glorious 10 days in the captivating company of Hilary and Ian’s fir kids, Ava, Calum & Tavish. Their pups are easy to care for, with detailed reference notes left for us. We were welcomed warmly into their beautiful home, which is spacious and comfortable. All modern conveniences have been thought of and catered for, making our stay a memorable one. The idyllic rural location is perfect for walks with the pups and takes in magnificent views across the Cheshire countryside. Thanks so much for inviting us to do this sit for you and for the generosity you showed towards us.
We had a brilliant time sitting for Jane and Rob. They were warm, welcoming and kind hosts and we really enjoyed our first evening with them. Their home is beautiful and so well kept. Jane and Rob were also very organised and left us helpful written instructions about the animals and house, plus local information. We miss all the animals - Dennis the friendly sheep, the characterful cats and the hens and duck. The dogs are an absolute joy to look after - we would have bundled Twiggy and Reggie into the car boot when we left if the car wasn't so tiny.
I took care of Margaret and Richards' condo plus their fur baby Dora for three months. It was such an overall pleasurable experience. They are the kind of people I describe as "tribe" because they are international travel lovers like me, and all of us tribe are like a big ole family! The condo is clean, modern, and in a great location. Plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance. You'll have all the amenities you'll need, and even has a great workspace for any remote workers. Margaret made sure absolutely everything was in order upon my visit and I was very grateful. Dora is super shy and may take a while to warm up to you, but with consistent food, litter change, and a few treats, she'll come grace you with her presence, lol. All in all, I'm sure we'll be working together again!
A nightmare. Run away !
We loved sitting for Kaia and Tyson! I was lucky enough to meet Nicole and Danny prior to the sit and they were super accommodating. The apartment was neat and clean when we arrived. Their apartment is located in a super central area - walking distance to local grocery stores, downtown, coffee shops on every corner (Bluestone Lane/Starbucks/Peets/Philz), local gyms, dog parks etc so it was super convenient. We were even lucky enough to catch the Warriors parade during our stay which was just a short walk over! Kaia and Tyson are amazing dogs. Kaia is a young doodle full of energy while Tyson is a little older and will just want to chill and cuddle with you. Kaia is also a cuddler and is obsessed with her ball/playing fetch. As Nicole mentions in the welcome guide, Tyson is afraid of anything on wheels and will lunge at them! That means scooters, skateboards, etc - so make sure you are aware of your surroundings while walking. Both dogs are incredibly sweet and overall great walkers. Sometimes Kaia will bark but she's just excited! Both dogs met some of my friend's dogs in the neighborhood and they got along well with them. Nicole and Danny were also super communicative and sent me codes to pick up packages I had gotten in the mail. I highly recommend this house sit and would sit for them again! Thanks for the fantastic stay!
Stephanie is a great host. She gave me a warm welcome and tour of her unit and building, which has amazing amenities! She was quick to respond to any questions and trusted me to take care of Coco who has clearly lived a good life to make it to 21! Coco is a sweetheart and loves head rubs!
