Second time sitting for us and just as great as the first time!
We had the best time housesitting and petsitting for Kim and Pablo. The dogs (Luchie, Rosco, Batufflo & Willow) and cat (Evie) were just so easy to look after and get along with. Great communication and direction with feeding routine and care for the animals! A very tranquil bunch and a pleasure to have looked after them! ☺️❤️
We want to start off by saying a huge THANK YOU to Martin and Sue for a wonderful couple of weeks in their home in Dartmouth. Sue and Martin are amazing people, who we felt so naturally at ease with straight away, we felt extremely welcomed and like we were catching up with old friends. On arrival, we had plenty of time together to go through the handover and get to know Bruno who was super comfortable and curious straight away. While Sue and Martin were away, we kept in regular contact with each other updating them of Bruno's adventures and upon return, we we're lucky enough to have a day overlap with them so we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them both and learning more about them. They even dropped us at the train station when leaving which was super kind of them.. thank you so much! The house itself was amazingly spacious, clean with stunning views and located about 10 minute walk into the town where there were so many beautiful shops, cafes and restaurants. Dartmouth is such a stunning part of the country and if you're lucky enough to be invited to sit here you will love it. We enjoyed daily swims and walks and we were lucky the sun shined for us for the best part of our stay. Finally the star of the show, Bruno. Bruno is the BEST cat ever. He is so communicative, and will literally tell you when he wants fed or wants to be let outside. He is very independent but also super affectionate and cuddly. We enjoyed snuggles on the sofa at night with him and also morning cuddles with him resting gently on your arms. Our camera rolls are full of Bruno pictures and needless to say we're really going to miss him. Thank you once again Sue, Martin and Bruno for an AMAZING two weeks. We loved every second of getting to know you all and know that we'll keep in touch. Natalie & Long
Fantastic experience. Bella is a real sweetheart and very cuddly. She is very quiet and will give you gentle nudges to ask for a walk or a cuddle. Emy is very friendly and great at making you feel welcome and assisting if needed. It was a very smooth sit where we communicated throughout.
Rhea is a very welcoming pet parent. She is responsive and explained many things including videos about the house and the dogs and cats. She will do everything to make the sit as easy as possible. The 2 dogs Jimmy and Julie are so sweet. Julie easygoing and Jimmy loved the attention and cuddles after the first days of getting to know each other. The cats are hilarious and playfull! The area is stunning. Every direction that you walk is beautiful. The hills in the forest with several banana, coconut and tea plantations. The neighbours are wonderful as well, it's a small community close to the village Korome. If you're coming from outside India, I recommend to arrive 1-2 days early as delays may occur. This will give time to get to know Rhea, the pooches and the area! You will enjoy it!
I have a wonderful long weekend at Sarah's peaceful abode. She lives on a really quiet suburban street - don't know when I've slept better! - but it's an easy walk to the shops. The house itself is really comfortable and spacious with a beautiful guest room for sitters. The real attractions of the house are of course the cats: Maisie is an absolute delight, both very friendly and rather regal as befits a senior cat. Archie is a sweetheart who has just found his forever home and clearly is loving it. They both made me feel at home. Of course, Sarah had already done a good job of that with her friendly welcome and clear instructions on how everything worked. She was really easy and nice to communicate with while away. A great experience all around!
You know those sits where everything is just beyond perfect and you don’t want to leave? This is one of those. Sherold and John are wonderful hosts and have created a peaceful oasis with their home. It’s gorgeous, in a perfect location, and has a great yard. Teddy is the most lovely pup who is a total lover and wants to snuggle, play with his toys, and loves his walks. He is easy to take care of and a total joy to be around. My only complaint is I didn’t want to leave😊. Would absolutely sit again and you will be lucky if you get chosen for a sit here!
