Jan and Barbara did a fantastic job. I need sitters not for covering vacations but for when I go to work or go to visit my mother in the states AND since I volunteer with the countries animal protection agency my house sits are unique. The search and need for pet sitters who are willing and able to take on caring for foster kitties on top of my 4 guys is not an easy one. They did above and beyond in caring for everyone. Taking the initiative in handling sick kitties ensuring they get their meds. The vet clinic and representatives of ENPA, the rescue agency, can't stop praising how well they did and how wonderful they are.
My stay in the states ended up being longer than the time frame we agreed on so they stayed a few extra days to show the new sitters the ropes.
They took good care of the plants, the yard, and the house just as I would. Barbara even had a little fun in clipping and planting things for me. I look forward to returning and see these little plants!
Communication with them was top notch. Something that can be difficult when dealing with different time ones. I looked forward to waking up and checking skype each morning for their stories and fotos. They did not hesitate to ask questions when not sure what to do and I truly appreciated this. Keeping me in the loop of all that went down.
You will be very lucky to have them as pet sitters.

Alicia and her friendly furry family made my first real visit to Seattle a truly memorable experience! Alicia was so nice and welcoming to her beautiful city. She kindly offered to pick me up from the train station. I was greeted by her cute dog Chloe with sweet kisses on the cheek. Chloe was happy because she got to go with Alicia on vacation, so I was honored to take care of her other adorable love ball, Lilly the cat. She kept me company while I worked at home, and played for rubs and ear scratches. Alicia left me with all the information I needed for a smooth stay. I had my own clean bedroom complete with a bathroom and a desk for work. The house was clean and had plenty of space. Alicia’s renters live in a unit below, I met them once throughout my stay and they were very nice and friendly. Alicia lives in a safe, walkable, neighborhood to cafes and shops plus a huge lake. I was able to walk to the bus stop nearby and ride to the beautiful sights of Seattle. She and I kept in contact and swapped texts with pictures regularly. I recommend Alicia and her furry gang for a welcoming, beautiful stay in Seattle!
