Oh my---Prepare to have the bar set awfully high for any future sits:

Your incredibly kind/helpful/fascinating hosts, Sandra and Andy, are excellent communicators (as well as very capable cooks!) and will run you through the ins and outs of Stevecare/household tidbits prior to their departure. Just wonderful humans!

Gosh. STEVE. Maybe the sweetest, handsomest Steve in the UK (perhaps beyond)? This fella has personality to spare and a meow (mrawaaww?) that doesn't quit. Steve's real delight for folks who fancy a snuggle buddy but he also doesn't mind a bit of solo time. Feeding and litter are a breeze--What a joy to hang with/care for!

Finally, a beautifully curated yet comfortable apartment filled with books and other visual delights? It doesn't get better! Could not recommend this sitting adventure more highly. So many thanks!

Andrew & Donelle
I had a wonderful experience at Andrew and Donelle’s. I can’t express more how grateful I am at the opportunity they provided. The memories of my time in the Loire will last a lifetime.

My stay at Francesca's place over the summer was perfect. Minu is a treat to be around, she is lovely, pretty independent but enjoy some good cuddling sessions. Communication with Francesca before and during my stay was very easy. The house has some pretty good vibes, it's in a very quiet street in Richmond city center, close to the shops, the river and the amazing park! I highly recommend pet sitting for Francesca (if i'm not available ;-) )!

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts."
I truly believe that getting to know each other and sharing experiences is the best anecdote for a harsh world. Sheelah and her husband are living proof of this! They opened their lovely home to myself, my husband an our newly minted college graduate daughter. They trusted us with their three beautiful cats and lovely home and garden. We enjoyed it all immensly. We were able to explore the area (and then some), come home, snuggle with the kitties and make dinner or go to the local pub for a pint. I cannot understate the importance of these kind of experiences, for meeting new people, learning about how other people to live and even becoming more mindful about trash sorting and consumption culture. It has been a wonderful experience for all of us and one we won't soon forget. And we loved the cats!!
