Alice
If you're looking for a nice, peaceful and secluded area away from the craziness of the city, then this is the place to be. I house sat for Alice and cared for Marmalade, her cat. I would recommend coming here and if I am in this area again, I would most likely stay here again if available. Marmalade is fun to play with, and is very cuddly, and will want to sleep in the bed with you, as that is what she did with me.

It has been our pleasure to take care of Archie in Maureen's oh so peaceful home.
We shared a lovely meal on arrival, and found Archie to be a super little cat. We had great fun playing games with him every day, and he just loves company. Every morning Pat went out in the garden with him, and he really enjoyed chasing lengths of string with her, and pottering around.
He is very easy to feed, and will show you how he likes his water "served"
which is amusing.
Maureen is a lovely lady, and so easy to get on with. We could not praise this sit enough....the bungalow, the pretty garden....and dear Archie.
We would be happy to return anytime we were available.

Angela
Oscar was such a great character and as long as he was close to you, he was happy. Nicknamed the ‘snuggle monster’ he wanted nothing more than to be by your side; out walking, playing in the garden, sitting watching TV, he was the perfect companion. Oscar loved new adventures and was totally comfortable in the car when driving further afield to explore. He had bundles of energy at points throughout the day and, although he would let you believe that he wasn’t the biggest fan of long walks around the neighbourhood, turn on that sprinkler in the back garden and he will chase that spray for ages. It was hilarious!

Angela was a thoughtful host who, as well as leaving the cutest ‘welcome’ note from Oscar, had left a discount coupon for the local supermarket and coffee for those early morning brews. She was communicative throughout and had left the most thorough notes making it easy to care for both her home, and Oscar, as she wished.
Set within a cute, older neighbourhood known as Frog Hollow, this is a great sit for those wishing to immerse themselves into a local community. Wandering around the historic homes, everyone was friendly and had time for a chat; there was a lovely local park that offered a welcome place to sit in the shade and read books courtesy of the ‘Little Free Library’ set up there. For those happy to just chill at ‘home’, Angela had a lovely, large back garden as well as an area out front that was perfect for relaxing at the end of each day. Although the stay was brief, this was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Katherine and Martin are a lovely couple and welcoming hosts. They invited us round to stay the night before to introduce us to the dogs and we had a great meal and drinks together.
We’d never looked after whippets before, but Pepper and Wallis were pretty easy.
Pepper can have some excitable moments where she wants to play, but is generally happiest napping. Wallis also enjoys a snooze, but we felt had some separation anxiety and often needed more attention and reassurance while we were around. They enjoy their walks and routine. They let us know when they wanted something - usually time for food or a walk or a stroke. We had a couple of issues but Katherine and Martin we reachable via telephone to provide help and advice and were resolved quickly.
The house is in a great location. Plenty of quiet streets and parks around for walks, plus dog-friendly bars and cafes to take Pepper and Wallis for an outing. Katherine and Martin also gave us some great suggestions for where to go in Budapest.
The public transport is also really good, so you can easily get into town and back without leaving the dogs for too long. All in all a good sit.
