We were delighted to welcome Ellie and Ben into our home and, most importantly, into the hearts of our 4 furry family members. We have a 13 year old dog who has some medical issues and requires several sets of pills a day, an elderly cat who also needs medications, and two rambunctious 3 year old boy cat brothers who require play time and entertainment! Sukha the dog needs walks and love and at any time one or more of the pets wants to lay on top of you for cuddles. Ben and Ellie were simply terrific. They are both pet lovers and they are a mature, reliable, friendly couples who gave great care and attention to details. They had absolutely no problem with the rather complex medication and feeding routines. They took Sukha for walks and adventures and even a day trip over to Saltspring island where we recieved photos of our lucky dog lounging on her blanket in the shade of a bistro lawn. They were cognizant of her medical needs at all times and honestly Sukha had more fun with them than she does with us! The house was spotless upon return and they even offered to do any yard chores to help out my husband who is having neck surgery. We have a lovley time meeting them and will welcome them back any time. You'd be lucky to have them care for your home and pets.

Phil & Pam are a great couple who coped well with all our lot😀 They cooked the dogs extra sausage treats to help with recall & took them on plenty of walks. Also looked after the garden plants for us and picked & froze lots of blackcurrants for me! Would happily recommend them & have them back x

Denise was a wonderful sitter. Denise looked after our dog and cats and home like her own. Whilst we were away Denise kept in contact and updated us on all the animals. It wasn’t the easiest sit for Denise as one of the cats was very unwell and we weren’t sure if he would make it but Denise managed it all brilliantly and he pulled through and I was able to switch off and relax on holiday. We would absolutely recommend Denise for future house sits. Denise enjoyed the garden and helped me in the garden and with some seeing which was so appreciated. We came home to a clean and tidy house and lovely flowers from the garden. We just hope she might come back one day!

Nicole was amazing! Even though her personal circumstances changed she honoured the agreed house sit and looked after Berti and the plants for 6 weeks; through the regular photos Nicole sent I could tell Berti was very relaxed and happy - even accompanying Nicole on 6 mile runs!! Nicole was organised, an excellent communicator, kept the house spotless and just a lovely friendly person all round. I highly recommend Nicole as a house sitter, I would be more than happy for her to look after Berti again.

Trudy & Andy are very friendly & generous hosts. They invited us to stay for 2 days before they left so they could show us round the island & get us set up with a local SIM & some groceries, as well as leaving us a bunch of goodies. The house is very comfortable in a quiet, residential area so renting a car is a good idea as the nearby beaches have very rough waves. Nicky is a lovely dog who would greet us enthusiastically when we came back to the house. She was easy to look after as are the 3 outside cats, 2 of which were friendly while the other was more timid. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Varsha

Varsha is not just a great host, but also feels like a dear friend. She is always responsive, supportive, and gave us a warm welcome. Billy, the furry companion, was really friendly, gentle, and absolutely loved cuddling. In the morning, he would come to us, meowing softly, and follow us around, asking for cuddles. It truly melted our hearts. Billy is also an independent and expressive cat; he would lead me to the balcony door, signaling his desire to go outside.

The apartment itself was immaculately clean, well-organized, and provided ample space for a comfortable stay. Moreover, its location in a peaceful district close to nature made it even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful time during our stay and would highly recommend to sit at Varsha’s with Billy. Thank you for making our trip so memorable!

Heidi and Drew were kind and hospitable as can be! We enjoyed our time in the area and felt so welcome. They have a beautiful home and wonderful dogs.

Buddy is the snuggest little cuddle bug you can ask for! He’s a sweetie that you will absolutely love. 

Odysseus is all heart - we enjoyed cuddling and giving him belly rubs. He injured his leg so we weren’t able to exercise much with him which was a shame but he helped us make the best of it by being such a good boy!

Hugo and Sawyer are very very sweet dogs and easy to take care of. Hugo is playful and energetic and Sawyer is older and a little more laid back.

Sari is a great host and her home is beautiful! When we arrived it was spotless. There is a really beautiful view from the kitchen/dining room area of the plains and mountains. She has a nice backyard that the dogs can let themselves out into. 

Sari is super friendly and accommodating and a great person. We had a wonderful time here and I would highly recommend this sit.

I had an amazing time at Nigel's house :) Sapphy is so lovely and cuddly, location is perfect and Nigel is the most attentive host - he even offered me to stay one more day until my next sit, which was really helpful. I felt really welcome, hope to come back soon!

Celine

I didn't get to meet either Celine or Tom but had great communication with them throughout the sit. Their home is lovely, has everything you need, is in a quiet street  and is very close to public transport. 
The cats were easy to look after. Cookie was very good at taking medication. Crumpet was lots of fun, high energy but also enjoyed snuggling up.
Definitely one to recommend.
