I had a great time housesitting for Diana! She is super kind and very accommodating. I didn’t have a housesit lined up for the night she arrived back and she offered to let me stay the night, which I really appreciated and made me feel welcomed into her home. We had great communication during the entire time and she answered all my questions quickly and made sure I was comfortable. Her home is in a perfect Santa Cruz location; easy walk to town, grocers, and the beach! Her sweet pets were so loving and easy to care for. Petey loves keeping you company in the kitchen, Pogo loves snuggling on the couch, Stella is always ready to be pet , and Arty (R38) loves snuggling in bed! I highly recommend sitting for Diana and would gladly do it again!
Working with Tim and the pups was a real pleasure. Jojo and Noodle kept me smiling the whole time and the location just off the Greenway path allowed for safe walking and exploring with the three of us. The home was everything I needed and Tim provided thorough instructions to make sure that things went smoothly for us all. I would absolutely recommend working with Tim and the dogs. I would gladly help out again if I had the chance.
We had a fab week in Chalford! David and family were really welcoming and their house is in such a beautiful spot - amazing views and wonderful walks right from the house through the woods/along the canal and round the village. Doug is lots of fun and very energetic - we really enjoyed taking him on long walks (as the walks are all so beautiful!) but he was also lovely and snuggly at the end of the day when we were all tucked up on the sofa. Jeeves is also super affectionate and was no trouble at all. And as a bonus, there is a really lovely (dog friendly) pub with a fab beer garden just a short walk through the village. We had our two boys with us - there were two fab parks a short walk away that they had lots of fun in and they were very happy with the trampoline in the garden/X-Box in the living room! Would be more than happy to look after Doug and Jeeves again in the future.
We really enjoved this country sit. The house is located on 12 beautiful woody acres and Eliza can guide you on a hike in the woods behind the house. The home is also situated close (3 miles) to access for the Appalachian Trail and many other trails. The hosts are very accommodating and offered that we could come visit before the sit or do a video visit. We didn't meet the hosts but had a video visit before the sit and excellent communication during sit. Eliza is spirited and fun, but also well-behaved. She is very flexible...loves to play ball, chase sticks or just hang with you inside or outside the house. She is very good in the car. The home is charming, organized and comfortable. Clear instructions were provided which made it easy to adapt. We spent a lot of time hanging out on the 2 patio areas We would love to repeat this sit for a longer time if we are invited back. We highly recommend sitting for Eliza to anyone who enjoys a great pup, lovely house/surroundings and wonderful hosts.
Judit and Ian are very nice people and we really enjoyed our stay in their lovely apartment. Peanut and Poppy are very different but both are adorable. They love to catch the dot of a Laserpointer. :-)
