Looking after Bear was a treat and Melissa's house is located near parks and loads of green spaces, like the Vedder River that provided ample choices to get Bear out and play fetch, for hours! She lives in a super friendly quiet neighbourhood and her home was warm, clean and met all my needs. I would gladly sit for her again.
It is possible that you will get to care for three such wonderful pets, but I seriously doubt you will find them together in one house! What a joy it was looking after Turbo, Zephyr and Leo. Such a gentle, affectionate trio. Loved our walks on the beach with Turbo and watching him go ‘crabbing’ in the sand. Be prepared to stop often on your walks, however, as he is famous around the area and will be recognised by locals. Zephyr and Leo enjoy plenty of fuss. Eric and Helen are as lovely as their pets. Kind, straight-forward and clear. An absolute pleasure to deal with. Their home is a beautiful, easy care retreat in a very appealing beachside community. The guest house with ensuite is very comfortable and Turbo will want to sleep in there with you, so you will wake to his chin resting on the foot of the bed and big eyes looking at you. We had an amazing experience housesitting for Laure and looking after her sweet cat Frimousse! From the very beginning, Frimousse surprised us by letting us cuddle her and become her friends. She's such an independent cat who loves to explore outdoors during the day, but she always came back in the evenings for some cozy cuddles. The house itself is super comfortable and located in a peaceful neighborhood surrounded by beautiful nature with plenty of trails and stunning views to explore. We loved spending time in the garden, enjoying the fresh air and tranquility. Laure and her daughters are such friendly and welcoming people. We had a great time chatting with them and getting to know them better when they returned. They made us feel at home right from the start, and we're grateful for their trust in us. All in all, it was an unforgettable experience, and we're grateful for the opportunity to have stayed in such a lovely home and looked after such a wonderful cat. Jo's place is extremely pretty and peaceful!!! Gorgeous view and so relaxing. I would highly recommend! It was a delight hanging out with Boots. He is not at all shy - just jumps right up on your lap or beside you and cuddles as long as you want!
I had a wonderful time sitting for Xena, Marx and Blixt! They are all super sweet and funny! Initially, they were a little nervous when I first arrived but warmed up quickly. It was so fun watching Xena and Blixt play doing laps chasing each other in the backyard. You can even play fetch with Blixt if you use a ball! They all listened well to directions and Xena was easy to walk, eagerly following commands. They were all cuddly and playful during the day and at night I never heard a peep out of any of them and always found them in the exact same positions in the living room in the morning as I left them the night before. Such characters! Fareeza was friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. The house was nice and clean, located in a quiet neighborhood close to both forest and the lake - making my time there even more relaxing!

Lady Di doggy daycare and boarding is fantastic. Our dog, Pippi is actually pretty shy and was very nervous with our previous doggy day care. Now she runs up the stairs to see her friends! Pippi clearly adores everyone who is at Lady Di. We feel totally comfortable boarding her there too. One less thing to worry about when we have to travel. We have also used Lady Di's for in home pet care for our cat, Sophie. We were totally confident that she would get great care while we were gone and we were right. Sophie was happy to see us but happy, healthy, and friendly when we returned. Thank you to everyone at Lady Di Pet chaperone. I can't recommend them enough!

It's tough to let someone into your home when you're traveling, so finding someone like Sarah - kind, trustworthy, reliable... and a true animal lover is wonderful. Sarah is simply amazing. We've taken a couple of trips to care for ailing family members and she's provided home visit care for our shy cat, Tucker. Not only does she do the basics - feeding, cleaning the box, giving pets (if he lets her get close enough) - she also reports on anything unusual that she happens to see. Knowing she's here to care for Tucker has helped us focus on family matters without worrying about how our kitty is doing in our absence. Highly recommend!

We are so grateful to Lady Di Pet Chaperone and staff for taking such wonderful care of our 5 month old puppy. I was forced to find a daycare after getting a not so nice note from a neighbor. I had seen this place close to where I live so I decided to check them out after doing research and reading reviews. After completing the application and sending an e-mail, I was contacted immediately. He has been going there almost two months and he is a very happy dog. He is excited to go and gets home exhausted from playing with his friends all day. Because of his positive interactions and the great care from the staff, he is friendly around people and other dogs. As for me, I am able to go to work without feeling guilty because I know he is in good hands. It is evident that Sarah and her staff really love and care about what they do.

After moving to Seattle, finding a facility that could accommodate Covy’s energetic ways almost seemed impossible until Lazy Dog Crazy Dog entered the picture. The staff has been incredibly kind and patient in learning Covy’s mannerisms. He has the best time there whether it’s daycare or boarding. Can’t recommend them enough! Covy especially loves his weekly bath time as part of the monthly package (and so do we #doublecoatdoglife)!
I have boarded my dog at Lazy Dog Crazy Dog West Seattle a few times for about 15 nights total. The staff here has been consistently kind, compassionate, and communicative. It always felt as if someone was happy to see my dog when she arrived and that she was well loved while here. Unfortunately, on my dog's most recent stay here, she sustained some out-of-the-ordinary injuries on both her back paws and needed to be picked up early for a vet visit. The three staff members I spoke to about this incident were empathetic, however the situation could not be explained. Because of this most recent stay, my dog will no longer attend boarding here.
I would recommend anybody looking for a dog daycare or boarding facility to consider here. They know all the dog breeds and their peculiarities well, with some staff certified in dog first aid/ cpr, and the place has staff around 24/7. I've been dropping my dog off here for the last few months, and it is amazingly helpful. My german shepherd dog is very energetic, and their play area is spacious enough that he can run around and get the exercise he needs while I'm at work. The staff are amazing here as well. Each seems to know every dog by name, their breed, and their personality. Talking with them every day, I get to learn who my dog is friends with and how his day went. Beyond that, they are willing to be flexible with our pickup/ drop-off times given that work schedules aren't always perfect. Lazy Dog Crazy Dog gets a 5/5 from me because without them, my dog would have a much lower quality of life being at home by himself most of the week.
I left my dog Freddie here and they were absolutely wonderful! the best care he's ever gotten from a place like this. Andrew was amazing with Freddie and will definitely be coming back
I take two of my dogs here 3-5 times a week and they're both pretty young. I love this place. My dogs are well cared for and get that energy out. The staff have been nothing but nice, helpful, personable, and excellent. My pooches are always worn out when they get home and are better behaved. Strong recommend
I started going here because I needed a place whereby Boston terrier could interact with other dogs and get used to being boarded so that we can go on vacation someday. He's been very shy being around other dogs loves people. What I really love is because they have treated him so well and had him in the correct area of dogs He's starting to be more social so it's working. They're great people to work with and it was really easy to book appointments and they're very accommodating for any needs that come up regarding your pet. I highly recommend as a loving and safe place. I just hope they have the prep class for the dogs at the West Seattle site.
Someone has always answered the door for our very early morning drop offs. They accommodate our unpredictable work schedules without making us feel bad or giving us hassle. We can expect phone calls with issues good or bad so I know they pay attention. The workers are friendly and make the interactions pleasant.
We love LCDC. The staff is kind and attentive and always has some nice details to tell us about our girl Mona: which other dog she played with or just how happy she was to get pets and scritches. We appreciate the fun add-ons and enrichments they offer. Special shout out to Denise and the whole team who clearly care so much about the dogs.

I boarded my dog for the first time, and when I picked her up, she acted skittish and had abrasions on her belly and a couple of deep/long scratches on her flank. As I've never boarded before, I don't know if this is something to be expected. The people were very nice and seemed to like caring for the dogs, but due to the scratches and her odd behavior on the first day back home, I wasn't thrilled with the experience. 1/9 update: my one year-old dog has been peeing on the back deck and in the house since she got back from boarding. I am guessing it is because this facility does not have an outdoor area for dogs to do their business. If you are boarding your pup, I recommend that you find a place that does have an outdoor area
Jefferson took great care of my baby!! He was very accommodating and communicative. I very much appreciate him taking such good care and taking videos of her stay. She had a blast with the other pups!
CJ takes amazing care of our shepherd mix! She is always happy and healthy when she comes home and we love the videos he sends while we are away! Highly recommend!
We have been working with CJ for over two years with our Bernese Mountain Dog (100 lbs). We have consistently had a fantastic experience and CJ makes traveling in and out of SEATAC very seamless. He is great at communicating updates with daily videos and always has pick up and drop off details nailed down. Most importantly, our dog looks forward to his time here as he spends the weekend playing with the other pups all day, with CJ supervising for safety. He takes great care of our boy!
CJ has taken care of dogs for our family for many years, since December 2019. He is professional and considerate in his planning whether boarding our dog at his home or crafting a regular weekday walk schedule. Our first dog, Charlie crossed the rainbow bridge in summer 2023. He now walks our new puppy who is happy to see him every time he comes to take him for a walk. Leo gets so excited to see him and he provides us with updates via text. We highly recommend him if you’re in the market for a dog walker or sitter.
CJ has been taking care of our furry trio for years now and they love going there. Whenever we make it to his driveway, they seemingly forget that we exist and sprint to his backyard. Being able to drop our dogs off with someone who is professional and capable has been a blessing. Also being able to park our car and shuttle to the airport has made going on trips easier for us. One underrated perk of letting our dogs stay with CJ is that he posts daily videos on IG/Youtube so we're able to see our dogs while we're out of town! 10/10 would recommend!

I've been taking my puppers to Fur Babies since I moved up to this area (4 years now). I trust him implicitly with our fur baby and also consider him a good friend now. I can't tell you how easy it makes traveling for us, reducing any worry that can come from dropping your dog off with a kennel or someone you don't fully know. Our dogs have always had a great time, and I know that because he also takes time to send us hilarious videos (nearly daily) of our dogs having grand old times playing with his own dogs or some of the other pups he may be watching at the time. I've already recommend his services to my good friends and coworkers and they've all had great experiences as well. Can't recommend enough!
This man is a lifesaver. He’s punctual, flexible, trustworthy, communicative, sweet and so much more! I have a tiny little shih-tzu who was a COVID baby and didn’t know a life where I left the house for work because I had been remotely working for all these years. But when my new job required me in the office everyday, I was so stressed how she would do without me. Insert Jefferson here giving her the best lunch time walks of her life and then sending the most adorable updates to me to ease my little overprotective heart 😅. I feel lucky to have snatched up a slot on his calendar. I feel so relaxed knowing he’s taking care of my baby girl. I couldn’t give any higher of a recommendation for him.
Just as everyone posted here, they are amazing!! Left my dog here for a week, I was at peace knowing he was happy and getting the exercise and attention he needed. It was a little too much for my budget, but at the end, it’s worth every penny! To see him relaxing in their home, getting love and playing with his well matched friend group. Easy drop off, pick up and payment. And they send photos, and you can text any time (decent hours) and they give you an update on your pup. You can tell they love what they do. They really care about all barks of life!
Our Olde English Bulldog Henry always has the best time! He always comes back very tired and happy after seeing his friends. Also a very convenient location right next to the airport. Pickup and drop off are super quick and seamless. Great experience so far and we will continue to send Henry as long as they will have him!
I would love to start by thanking the whole crew for taking care of our benny. He was well taken care of and happy throughout his stay. They are great in communication and sending beautiful and memorable pictures. Benny got to make friends and have the best experience. He will for sure be back. We boarded our dog Pocky for almost 2 weeks with all barks hotel. It could not have been a better, safer, peace of mind, experience! Setting up his boarding was fast and professional and I appreciate that all dogs require vaccines. We dropped him off and they updated us DAILY with pictures and news of our dog! He had such a fun time, you could see it on his face. Pick up was just as easy, Pocky was washed and had a bandana! They go above and beyond. Cannot recommend them enough and will absolutely use them again.
I love this place so much!! Tamar and Amy are always so accommodating for when I need to bring my Corgi for daycare! Plus another added bonus, they send REALLY CUTE pictures during their stay. Them and their staff really go above and beyond, I highly recommend this place for your pups! (and your kitties!)
Boarding our dogs at All Barks Hotel was an absolutely wonderful experience! If you’re looking for a facility that will love your dogs as much as you do, this is the place! Both my partner and I received daily pictures from Tamar and Amy that captured just how well they were able to bring out our dog’s personalities in such a short time :) Tamar and Amy were SO gracious when our flight was canceled and they had to keep our boys for a little longer than expected. They even had our boys washed and ready to go home with bandanas- we got our dogs back in better condition than we left them! We feel a lot more confident going on trips now that we know we have a place to take our boys where they will be genuinely taken care of.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this All Barks!! Hera absolutely loves getting to mingle with the pups and doing her favorite squeezing between legs. She’s always sad to leave, antsy to go back. Thanks for another top notch stay. There’s no place like it in the area!

Tamar and Amy are kind, caring, knowledgeable, and professional. The pictures they sent to us of our dog while we were on vacation brought us comfort in knowing she was being well cared for while we were away. The pictures also captured her personality and are some of our favorite pictures we have of her!
All Barks has been fantastic to work with and my dog Kola always loves going to camp! Kola can be reactive and the team worked well with her to integrate her. If there was a “6” Star option I would rate the facility and the people as a “6”.

Annabelle was such a great help with my cat who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. This was my first time away since, and it was such a relief knowing kitty was in good hands, getting fed, her shot, and friendly pets a couple times a day. Great communication and photo updates as well!
Annabelle has cared for our very spoiled pandemic pup. We receive regular updates and come home to a happy & calm dog. During an extended trip, Annabelle noticed that the dog could use a nail trim and asked if we wanted her to take care of it. Never any surprises and good follow through. I highly recommended Annabelle.
Annabelle has been a big help to me and my spouse and our diabetic cat! Because our cat requires to be fed and medicated via insulin injection twice a day, it makes it challenging for just anyone to watch him. Most people we know would be queasy about jabbing a cat, no matter how tolerant our boy is. Annabelle has allowed us to take crucial time off to go out of town and see family, and she's very communicative and keeps us up to date each day, which gives us peace of mind whenever she drops in.

Annabelle is great! I had a different dog sitter cancel last minute and Annabelle came to the rescue. She was able to stay at my apartment for three nights and two dogs loved her. I was hesitant at first because my dogs can have some separation anxiety and are weary with new people, but Annabelle happily accepted the challenge and exceeded our expectations. Annabelle was wonderful. We have a large senior dog, a cat who is picky about people, and an older leopard gecko, and let's just say we're chronic worriers when it comes to them. Annabelle was great with all of them, giving them love and enrichment in addition to their regular care needs, and they were all big fans. We'll definitely be booking again in the future!
My first experience with a pet-sitter ever was with Annabelle and it exceeded my expectations in every way! Annabelle was exceptionally communicative not only during her visits, but also pre and post visits too--and that was so helpful in alleviating separation anxiety. She followed instructions, and if something was unclear, I appreciated that she did not make assumptions but instead checked in to clarify and confirm. Bonus was coming home to such a neat and tidy space and finding my fur bunny so happy!

Mimi has been watching my dog Otis for almost 2 years. To say that she is a life saver is an understatement! She simply just MAKES MY LIFE WORK. I work 12 hour shifts, 7 days on, in the ICU. Without the Boston Pee Party, Otis and I would be a mess. She helps me exercise and socialize my bossy cattle dog, she corrals the pack as the alpha and squashes any drama without any sagging tails or hurt feelings. I cannot recommend her more highly!

Boston Pee Party has been absolutely amazing for my dog during this pandemic. Although I'm home all day, I do not have the time for the walks my dog needs, Mimi comes in and my dog is phyched and knows it's time for a walk with his friends. We’ve used Close to Home cat sitting services since 2021 and we are very grateful for the team! The cat team is so kind and communicative, it gives us great peace of mind when we travel! Scheduling is always so easy and Close to Home is so understanding and great at problem solving when we’ve hit unexpected travel changes. It’s always a relief coming to happy cats who hardly notice our absence lol.
I’ve been using Close to Home pet services for a couple years now. I couldn’t be more pleased with the service they provide! I have complete peace of mind knowing that my cat, Boots, is being well taken care of. All of his caregivers are excellent from Ben to Shannon to Lydia to Brooklyn. They all have a special way of showing Boots a lot of love and sending me entertaining reports with awesome pictures of him. Not only are they there for my cat, they also go above and beyond sometimes sweeping the floor, taking packages to other units when they’ve been delivered to me by mistake, or helping when a locksmith had to drill my lock when the batteries to my key pad died and no one could get in to my condo to feed Boots. I travel for work and my partner has to work long hours at the hospital so we knew we needed a reliable and trustworthy dog walking team. I couldn’t have asked for a better find with Close To Home. I had to leave for a long trip, and they were so awesome in making sure my cats and house were taken care of! I definitely recommend using them if you want some peace of mind and detailed care visits :)
Close to Home is amazing. They’ve been taking care of my 15 yo cat when I travel for the past 3 years. Usually Ben is our sitter, and he is amazing with my very temperamental, arthritic and all around diva cat, Phyllis. Everyone who has taken care of my cat at CTH is wonderful. I appreciate and look forward to the detailed daily report card they provide, including many pictures of the fur baby. I can’t recommend CTH enough, and feel so lucky to have found a sitting service providing so much care and love to my pet.
We've been using Close to Home for over a year and have only wonderful things to say about the company. Communication is great, the dog walkers are the nicest and send the sweetest updates, and the owner/team has been incredibly flexible/understanding with helping care for our dog since he was a puppy. They even accommodated walks at a different location during a home renovation. They are the best!
We have been using Close to Home Pet Services for dog walking for our two large dogs for about 1.5 years and have been continually impressed with the dog walkers, including the owner Drew, and especially with the communication from both Drew and from the other dog walkers. One of our dogs is reactive, and every single dog walker has worked with her to curb her reactivity, and we have even noticed differences when we walk her now. Our dogs genuinely look forward to walks with Drew and the team.
I've been using Close to Home for a few years and they are so easy to work with, easy scheduling and communicating online, and wonderful visit updates with lots of pictures. I have two cats, one of which is pretty shy - the staff is absolutely superb and they take such good care of them! I can't recommend them enough!
We've been very happy with Caity walking our pup weekly! She's super easy to work with and communicates well. Bonus - our pup seems content and not overly full of energy when I get home. I also appreciate how flexible she's been when I've needed to add extra walks when my work pulls me away from home.
We recently used Caity for the first time and without a doubt we will be returning again and again. Not only does she care for our two dogs like they are her own but she is very knowledgeable and incredibly easy to communicate with. You will never have to worry about your dogs while they are in her care and she has my highest recommendation.
Caity is excellent with our two dogs, especially our young pup who has some serious stranger anxiety. She was able to build trust quickly and we came home to a pup that was better trained than we left her. Both dogs happy and healthy, and great communication throughout the trip.
Caity has been a great friend to our 2 dogs. She walks them often and occasionally will sit for them too. Finding a good sitter/walker can be tough, but we are thrilled to have found Caity. She is communicative, reliable, trustworthy, and great with the dogs.
Caity has helped me more times than I can count, (on sometimes exceptionally short notice on my part!), by giving a safe and happy home for my dog Graham to stay when I’m out of town or having very long days at work. He absolutely loves his time with her, and Caity treats him like one of her own dogs. Her care, compassion and genuine love for dogs stands out constantly. Caity has taken great care of our active and sensitive rescue dog and given her a lot of love and companionship when we are out of town. Our dog loves her and gets along great with her dogs.
Caity has watched my sheltie since she was a tiny tiny puppy. She's almost a year old now and she absolutely adores Caity and her pack. She's usually very shy and cautious about new people and new places, but from the first time Caity watched her as a teensy fluffball she's loved her time there and gets so excited when she realizes where we're going. Caity's incredibly caring and responsible and takes amazing care of her, and I'm so grateful to have someone I trust who my dog adores!

As a Type A pet owner who finds it hard to trust people, I'm so glad I found Caity's K9s. Caity has a very intuitive understanding of dogs and their behavior and her mellow energy is great for accepting them as they are. Her communication has been consistent and clear. Over time, I've left my dogs for the day and when I'm out of town on vacation and have built up trust which to me is crucial. I've been very happy with Caity's K9s!
Caity was amazing with both my dogs while I was gone on an emergency. They’re a real handful and I left in such a hurry I couldn’t really give her much instruction, but she handled them amazingly well and they love her to bits! She took care of all their needs and then some! I would highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies while you’re gone 💜
