Amy was a great communicator and I’m sure would have been a great sitter, had the sit gone ahead. Due to a sudden and unforeseen illness Amy and River were unable to attend the sit. Amy kindly offered to arrange have an acquaintance come and sit on her behalf but fortunately I managed to get someone to come and sit last minute. I am certain that River and Amy would have taken great care of the cats should they have been able to attend and I would be willing to have them sit for me in the future.

We came back home to happy and well looked after animals and house and garden were perfect. Thank you Chris and Suzie, you have been amazing and I am sure Eden is missing you. You are always welcome back!

We loved having Jane housesit for us and couldn't have asked for more. She came round to the house a few weeks before the sit, armed with her note book, keen to understand everything about the cats and house needs! It was clear that she took a genuine interest in the cats and we were confident she would look after the house and garden to the highest standard. We were not disappointed. We were kept updated over the week and when we came home, the house was cleaner than when we left and the cats were very happy. In fact, Maddie has been sleeping on Jane's bed since she left. A real sign that she was very happy with her! We wouldn't hesitate in asking Jane to housesit again for us.

Catherine joined us for a weekend sit whilst we attended a family event. On the morning we were due to leave Bertie was very poorly and I had to take him to the vet. He had medication and we were told he needed watching closely and the vet was to be contacted if he became ill again. Catherine was calm, reassuring and willing to take responsibility and call us back home, if needed. We were able to relax in the knowledge that Bertie had the best possible care and we could trust Catherine’s judgment. All ended well and Bertie bounced back. A huge thank you to Catherine.

Diane was a wonderful sitter. She kept me informed with photos and updates of the cats and they were clearly extremely happy and relaxed around her. The house was absolutely spotless when we came home - a perfect sitter!

Lisa

Lisa was great, I met her at Brighton Station, she had not been to this part of the UK before. She settled in straight away, the dogs instantly took to her calm personality. Lisa kept us updated on the pets during our trip away, there was a thunderstorm one night and Lisa kindly looked after Toby who came to her for reassurance. The house was left neat and tidy, I would not hesitate in having Lisa to Housesit again, I am sure if there was a crisis she would be able to cope , highly recommend , and i hope she had a good time.

Sophie & Rikki

It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Sophie, Rikki and their adorable little girl, Nellie into our home. They are the perfect housesitters, capable, caring, thorough, organised and just very likeable people. From the initial video call with Sophie, I got along really well with her and just knew that she would be brilliant. She identified that it must take a huge leap of faith to hand over your home and your pets to almost total strangers and go off on holiday for two weeks! Her empathy meant a lot to me. Nellie is a delightful, gentle and sweet little girl and she was very good around the dogs. I believe she and Darcy formed a strong bond. Communication with Sophie beforehand and during the sit was excellent. We had a brief in person hand over before we left and both Sophie and Rikki asked how much/how often we wanted updates, photos, etc. Sophie's updates were thorough and reassuring - detailing how the dogs were eating and sleeping etc., and in particular regarding Elvis' well being/appetite. It can be a challenge balancing the needs and differences between and older, infirm dog and a younger more playful one. Sophie and Rikki managed this well and with kindness (and patience!) towards Elvis. They were diligent about following the dogs' routine and even created their own more concise, easy to use version of my rambling notes on what happens when with each dog. I shall be keeping and using their version for future sitters. Needless to say, we arrived home to an immaculately clean and tidy home and got to spend a little time with Sophie and Rikki and Nellie before they headed off. Do not hesitate to take that leap of faith with this lovely family - they are the safest pair of hands you could find. I hope they come back to us one day but in the meantime we wish them well on their travels. Gary and Rebecca xxx

Joe was a great sitter, who I’d happily ask to look after Dillon and Flo again. He was communicative before, during and after the sit and the cats seemed very content when I got back home. Joe left the house in a clean and tidy state too.

Leonie & Bert

Leonie and Burt were excellent house sitters. Really enthusiastic about looking after our dog, Pickle, and our two guinea pigs. They took Pickle on most of their walks exploring Bath and kept us up to date with their ventures. I know Pickle was well cared for - they genuinely took an interest in her, our city and our home. I would highly recommend them.

First time using this app, and I was a little nervous, but the complete process was fab. I found a great couple to look after our dog, Dali. Edward and Kayleigh were brilliant! From the start, they were organised, polite, and showed much kindness to our dog. I returned to my apartment to find it exactly how I left it, clean and well looked after. Dali seemed happy and secure, and this meant the world to me! I would highly recommend Edward and Kayleigh.

Tracey was really great with communication from the moment she applied until I returned home. I appreciated the regular updates while I was away as well. It was clear that my cat was very relaxed and happy with her, and she took really good care of him. I came home to a sparkling clean home. Albert and I would happily invite Tracey back any time.

Annie

In the lead up to the house sit, we had a couple of calls with Annie and Mark, which were very useful and reassuring for us, given this was our first experience of zeewoi. Communication and timing of arrival was excellent. Given we were still sorting out various "things" before we departed, we were able to get to know them and do a full hand over, which they took in their stride and allowed us to quickly relax about leaving Nelson the Flatboat and the house in their capable hands. A couple of updates with pictures were sent during our holiday which is what we had asked for and were well received. We would welcome Mark and Annie back should we make future holiday arrangements and it fitted with their schedule. We arrived home to a very excitable Nelson, and a sense that the house had been well looked after as well. Thank you.

Susan Johns is a delightful woman and provided everything we needed to make our house sit pleasant, we had our own guest room with wardrobe and bathroom. The home is located within easy reach of the bus stop which takes you through Newmarket and  the city of Auckland, or Lynnfield shopping center.
Shadow the German Shepherd dog affectionate, easy to walk and very obedient, easy to look after as well as a good watch dog.
We would be pleased if the occasion arose to house and pet sit for Susan again.

We really enjoyed our sit for little Ivy - Liane and Nick made us feel so welcome in their lovely home. It was a great location, close to parks and cafes. Ivy was very friendly and easy going, we would love to sit for her again!

Looking after Mel and Honey was a dream: Mike and Estela were wonderful hosts and always easy and quick to get in touch with. The flat is cosy, very clean and has excellent public transport links to London and Brighton. The cats were a delight - they got increasingly used to us with every day and were playful and cuddly. Croydon is an exciting neighbourhood with lots to discover. We enjoyed the stay very much. Thank you so much, we would love to come back!

Lexa was initially reserved, taking her time to feel comfortable around us. At home she is calm and enjoys leisurely naps. Easily startled by loud noises and prefers to keep to herself around other dogs. 
Townhouse is located on busy street with lots of young kids playing, biking during the day, walking distance to various trails, short drive to local ski hill. 
We enjoyed our time spend with Lexa exploring charming city of Kimberley.

Birtley was an absolute gem of a dog. He loved his long walks and cuddles with his favourite fluffly toy 'Pig'.
Everyday he would introduce us to more of the fluffy gang: Owl, Lion and Christmas Hedgehog. He loved his bellyrubs and enjoyed an afternoon snooze in the sun.
Caroline and Bill are the hosts with the most! They welcomed us into their home and made us feel like part of the family. Very kind and amazing people. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Guildford, we would love to sit again🐶

We had a wonderful sit at Maggie and Chris' home in Hook in the summer of 2016.  They were warm and welcoming and provided us with a nice tour of the surrounding area prior to their departure.  Although they took their adorable pup Freddie with them on their trip, we had an opportunity to meet him and it is apparent the care and attention that they give to him.  We highly recommend Maggie and Chris!
