Enjoyed my stay with Luna and Nova! Super safe central location in a gated community. Walking distance to a lot of Midtown restaurants and bars. Nova is playful and kept me company the whole time. Luna is super sweet once she warms up to you. Home is clean and full of natural light and homeowners were always available to communicate if I needed anything. Would definitely recommend housesitting for them!

Taking care of Fifi and Gareth was a joy. They're both such loving and special cats. Super kind and precious, I really really loved hanging out with them. The flat was cute, a bit quirky, in a good location, no complaints. Susan was a wonderful host - the instructions and communication were really clear. She's also just a fun and interesting person and Ir really enjoyed meeting her.

We had a wonderful, peaceful time in a truly beautiful corner of South Devon.

Stephen and Trudie were so kind. They invited us to come and stay the night before the sit and also lent us the use of their little car to motor around the narrow Devon roads. They encouraged us to pick vegetables from their garden, left freshly cut flowers and gave us recommendations for places to eat and drink. Stephen also drove us around the local area so we could get our bearings and gave us a thorough handover walking us around Cottage Farm and providing an information sheet.

We had our own space in a self contained flat in a barn. The white doves greeted us every morning as we went over to the farmhouse to feed the dogs. The doves eagerly anticipated their own breakfast, which for us involved a morning ritual of sprinkling a cup of bird seed on top of a nearby wall. A blissful way to start each day.

Cracker, the elder dog, didn’t need walking. He was happy sleeping most of the time and pottering about. He is a dear old chap. We kept an eye on him and gave him gentle strokes just so he knew we were around.

Peela was a joy to walk and to care for. She was impeccable and was with us nearly all the time. We loved being with both dogs. Each night before bedtime, we lifted Cracker out into the beautiful garden to spend a penny before walking Peela around the garden with a torch, in perfect peace and quiet. Another ritual, another strand that makes this sit feel like you are a part of a beautiful tapestry. The landscape surrounding Cottage Farm is rolling and tranquil leading down to the beauty of the Erme Estuary. Despite the tricky weather we had a couple of sunny days and enjoyed a swim or two.

Efficient communication, warm and generous hosts, delightful dogs. Thank you Stephen and Trudie.
