Our sit at Celia's home was a lot of fun. Celia was very responsive to our questions and left clear, detailed instructions. It's a lovely home in a quiet neighborhood with a big backyard for Pele to chase his beloved ball. He is such an adorable goofball; very playful and sweet and loves to be close to his humans. Clemmy is a rather independent little girl who makes her wishes known. She's not shy but we did notice that she warmed up a little more every day. She even graced us with her presence to watch TV with us on our last night. It's obvious who's wearing the pants. Even though Pele is much bigger than Clemmy, she rules the house ... and the dog. :) Watching them interact and play was really amusing and made our days. The chickens were easy to take care of and surprisingly interactive at breakfast time. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay and would definitely recommend it.
We had a really lovely time looking after Elif and Benny! Mo & Don were very welcoming and friendly and made us more than comfortable in their lovely home. We loved playing with Benny he is such a character and so affectionate. Elif was an absolute sweetheart and loved having attention and cuddles. It’s a lovely location with local pubs and good walking/cycling routes and larger towns a short drive away. We would be happy to return for another sit!
We had a wonderful time at Louise and Scott's, who made us feel at home the moment we walked through the door. Little Ruby is a fantastic dog who we will sorely miss! The house and area is beautiful and they made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable for the stay, including making sure we had a network of lovely people nearby if we needed anything. Louise even cooked us a beautiful meal on the day we arrived and made sure we had food for our breakfast in the morning. Ruby is a dream of a dog. She is a placid dog but that's not to say she isn't full of personality! She is sweet, caring, playful and very well behaved. There are beautiful walking tracks in the area and Ruby is a great walking/running buddy. We were given everything we needed to care for her and had no issues. She is the sweetest and we will definitely miss her company. We would definitely care for Ruby and the house again in a heartbeat!
Lucy is such a sweetheart, and she keeps a sitter happy by asking for love and walks and snuggles. I had a wonderful time taking care of her and exploring the neighborhood. She's a peach, and Bri is a terrific dog mom.
Our experience with Kathryn and Spirit was great! We really enjoyed Spirits company, even though he is an elderly cat he still loves playing. He is a very social cat, so he will come search for your company and loves being cuddled. Kathryn was very upfront about the fact that spirit has frequent accidents and that we had to clean up after him, so it is just important to be aware. The house was really big and had an amazing view over Oakland, it had everything we needed and we enjoyed our time in the sun on the patio. Kathryn was super nice and helpful all the time, we could reach her with any question we had.
Mr Willson (and yes it is Mr) is an absolute pleasure to care for. He is social, playful, cuddly, and just all around an amazing dog. Laine is thorough, there for any questions, and really goes the extra mile to ensure that my stay was great. The neighbors are also super cool. Could not ask for a better experience. I’d love to hang out with Mr Willson again soon!
