Elena was just great taking care of my boys, Taz and Hymie. When we met, she was attentive to learning about their personalities and food routine and all the particulars about the house, so I felt very confident about leave both cats and house in her care. She was great at making friends with them and sent me pics every day. While I was away I had great peace of mind knowing that Elena was such a reliable, responsible, careful housesitter. I came home to a spotless house and a delightful bowl of delicious Russian chocolates! I very much enjoyed meeting both Elena and Jim and would certainly ask them back to housesit again. It was an all around great experience.

Nora is a lovely, gentle and very talkative cat who keeps you guessing as to her exact opinion, but regardless, you can have quite the ongoing conversation, (and around 6.30 am, it’s easy to guess it’s all about breakfast!) She loves to have her head rubbed and her fur combed.

She lives in an extended, tastefully renovated, three storey terraced house within easy walking distance to Chiswick high street, bustling with shops, restaurants, pubs and cafes, and also Turnham Green Underground Station and buses into central London.

Jackie was always contactable despite being overseas, which was reassuring. I managed to create an unusual mix-up re keys, entirely my problem, but Jackie stayed calm and friendly neighbours were quickly to hand to help find a solution.

Chiswick has a lively, trendy “vibe”. You can walk down to the Thames in 15 minutes, enjoy the Thames walk, and visit Chiswick House and gardens on your return. Kew Gardens is one stop away on the District Line.

All in all, I recommend looking after sweet and characterful Nora. Apparently, so the neighbours informed me, she is very much the neighbourhood darling, and I can well understand why :)
