Patrice and Renée are really kind. Once you hear the story about them, there life and there famille you know how kind they are. They were also kind enough to have me for dinner the night I got there and provide clear instructions on how to look after the pets and maintain the house (which was easy). Their home is a typical house of Switzerland. It’s very big and confortable. We absolutely need a car so they let me use there car, it was very nice from them. Also, there are many amazing towns and villages worth visiting in the area, but you will need a car to get there or the train station is very close to there house. Britta and Gina was adorable. I feel il love with them. Easy to take care. I would recommend this sit to other pet sitters who want to see à part of Switzerland and be in a good company! Chantale
Sandy and Paul are a great couple. Very interesting and well travelled so have a beautiful home full of wonderful keepsakes and treasures. Ike the cat has so much personality, and is very loving. He was very easy to care for. Loved being groomed and cuddled. Other times was happy just doing his own thing. The area was fantastic, centrally located so we really didn’t need to use our car at all. Highly recommend this sit, and hopefully we will get a chance to sit for Ike again.
I very much enjoyed my house and pet sitting experience for Jen. She is super friendly and communicative, and her home is very comfortable and incredibly clean - it's also a great location, whether you're traveling by car and/or relying on public transportation and walking. The best part: Smudge and Tom! They are so sweet and so good - their kitten energy had me laughing out loud at times, and they provided great company as "coworkers" throughout the day and snuggle buddies at night. I would definitely recommend, and hope to be back sometime!
We had a fantastic stay with Regina. The apartment is very well maintained, nicely furnished and you feel comfortable from the first moment. Regina takes a lot of time to explain and show you everything, she is very well organized. Mr. M and Anastasia are absolutely fantastic cats - very relaxed and sweet. It was a pleasure to do home-office with them and we had many nice moments together. Thank you for this beautiful experience.
We pet sat for Anthea and Ralph and took care of Tattie, the chickens and the fish for about two weeks. Tattie is a real character. She is full of life and keeps you entertained throughout your stay. She loves walks and playing in the large garden and is keen to be by your side. She just loves human company. The chickens are very easy to take care of and provide you with more than enough fresh eggs. As we were there during winter, the fish did not need feeding. Ralph and Anthea are a lovely couple. They greeted us very warmly and showed us all we needed to know. The have a printout of all the information as well including suggested walks and local attractions. Their home is an attractive old manor set in large grounds in a most beautiful village. Just across from the front door there is a lovey local pub and another one a few meters away. This manor is by far the most interesting house we had the pleasure of staying in. We had a choice of one of two bedrooms both very comfortable, one of which has an ensuite. Our favourite room in the house was the comfortable snug next to the country kitchen. Always warm and toasty through our mid winter sit. We would be happy to return and take care of Tattie again should the opportunity arise. Highly recommend you accept this sit.
