It was an absolute delight to sit at Brooke's place. I have completed 2 sits for Brooke. Archie and Gandalf were so easy to care for and a delight to be around. Brooke gave all relevant information required to make everything run smoothly. Such a beautiful peaceful setting close to town, waterways and beaches. Comfortable and cosy cottage to rest and recharge.
We truly enjoyed this sit. Both Cyndi and Sarah were friendly and easy to communicate with. All of the pets were exactly as Cyndi and Sarah had described. Cyndi and Sarah's welcome guide is thorough and easy to follow. Rye and Warren loved a long daily walk and a bit of time in the yard playing ball, too. We will miss Warren, the super-mellow and loving Great Dane, and Rye, the energetic and affectionate Golden Retriever pup. We didn't get to know the cats or chickens as well, but they were a breeze to care for. The chickens required no care for our short stay, except for opening their coop door each morning and closing it in the evening (and they do lay great eggs!). The cats are indoor/outdoor so required just fresh food and water being available. The location of this sit was fantastic. The house is spacious, clean, and comfortable with a large, fenced yard for the dogs, cats, and chickens to enjoy...and a hot tub, fire pit, hammocks, and seating area for the sitter to enjoy! Scenic walking trails are just steps away, and both Loch Lomond Recreation Area and Henry Cowell State Park are within a 5-10 minute drive. You'll feel like you're in a rural setting, yet restaurants, shops, and the Felton downtown are only 1-2 miles away. If you love pets and love the Redwoods, this sit is a great match for you!!
If you are granted to sit for Sheila and Elvis count your self lucky. I stayed over a month and had a magical time with Elvis. I had no issues whatsoever - in fact, it was one of my earliest sits. I’d be more than delighted to come back in the future… 💜
This house sit was the perfect introduction to the Trusted Housesitters platform for me! Julianne was extremely communicative, kind and helpful! (She even gave me a thorough walk through the day I got in) Their home was so beautiful, well organized and welcoming. As were their detailed instructions of the home, sit and responsibilities. Most importantly I had SUCH a good time with Mr. Meow and Little Cat (who gave me soooooo many goodbye cuddles). I miss them already and am excited that I have another chance coming up to love on them again! <3
Laura and Kona are just great all around! Kona is very laid back and east to care for, and Laura is so very gracious and friendly. The home is in a safe, beautiful neighborhood that I hope I get to visit again when everything is in bloom. Close to amenities and an easy commute to attractions.
Cova is the sweetest dog who loves play time, walks, and cuddles. He is energetic and is always ready for play. We had such a fun time with him going around the neighborhood parks and forests. He equally loves hanging out at home napping and playing tug. He’s such a flexible dog and up for anything! He is well trained and listens to commands. Bal’s home is perfectly located amongst green space and neighborhood restaurants. His apartment is extremely comfortable and clean with a great view. Bal was flexible and communicated all of Cova’s needs. He answered all our questions promptly. He raised such a great dog! We would gladly come back to sit for Cova and recommend this sit to everyone!
