Genevieve has been fantastic with communication throughout my stay. She provided helpful videos and explanations, always ensuring clarity. Even when she was away, she remained responsive via text, which I truly appreciated. The location and house were great for my needs. Just be aware that having four cats around can get a bit chaotic at times. Overall, I'm very thankful for the experience!
Imogen and Jamie were really helpful throughout the entire sit. Pumpkin was also an angel (even though she hid most of the time). I loved watching her climb and reach new heights! By the end of our time together, I think she grew to tolerate me which is all I could ask for 😆 Thanks for everything Imogen and Jamie!
We had a wonderful stay with Ace and Tuck in Bucelas, near Lisbon! First of all, it was very nice to meet Christy and Ryan, who had just recently moved to Portugal from the US. They were very thoughtful hosts, provided all the needed information about the sit, and communication was easy during the sit. Their home is modern, beautiful and comfy, with a lovely guest bedroom and bathroom and very nice outside areas too. The village of Bucelas is nearby, just a few minutes walk, with a supermarket and a handful of restaurants. The surrounding area is beautiful, and despite the village itself being quite busy with traffic, there are some nice and quiet country roads (some of them in the middle of vineyards!) for walks and runs. Ace and Tuck are so very good boys, adorable brothers that we totally fell for, and now miss a lot! Ace is more easy-going, ready-to-kiss-you-right-away type of puppy, where as Tuck took his time to warm up to us, but after he started trusting us, he was such a charmer. Tuck loves fetching, and Ace likes to participate in it too. We also took them on quite long walks, and they loved that as well. In the evenings they kept us company on the sofa, always ready for cuddles. They both are well-behaving and easy to take care of. We can warmly recommend this sit for other dog-lovers, and would love to go back ourselves some day!
What a wonderful pet sit!!! Elena and Tim are wonderful people and they took the time to get to know us a bit before we started. They are super relaxed and friendly and great communicators so everything was absolutely seamless. Their home is beautiful. So spacious and open and bright in a great location. We were in our element. And as for Frankie. We completely fell in love with her. Such a sweet, calm, well behaved dog but with such character and personality. She made us laugh on a daily basis and brought so much joy to our lives for a month. We miss her so much. I can not recommend house sitting for Elena and Tim enough.
