It was perfect! David and Heather are very friendly and kind people. Monty is a wonderful dog. We were with him for 2 weeks and fell in love forever. 😍 Their house and garden are simply magnificent. We had all the amenities and plenty of space. The area is quiet and peaceful. Lots of nature for dog walks. We had a perfect experience. P.S. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. :)

We have just come back from a wonderful stay with two amazing dogs, Ben and Luke. For us, trusted house sitters is very much all about the dogs we have the opportunity to meet and spend time with. Ben and Luke were very special. The boys are very large and at time excitable but they are gentle giants who have nothing but affection for any human who shows them love. It was very hard to say goodbye to them. The house itself was beautiful and the gardens were a pleasure to spend time in. We felt relaxed at all times in the home. Joanne was an excellent host and was very thorough with regards to what was needed to look after Ben, Luke and the two tortoises. She was also on the end of the phone if needed. We would love to return and would reccomend this sit to anyone.
Ima is a gorgeous older lady dog and it was a pleasure to care for her. She I sensitive and sweet and enjoyed her down time as well as getting out on her walks. The home is sparse but comfortable. Isabel told me that she would be out of range so I wasn’t sharing photos and info as regularly as I normally would, but she was still checking in and asking for updates, so there was a bit of confusion on the communication end of things. Did my best.
We had a really lovely time looking after Inca, Winston, and Edwina. The dogs are calm, well trained and endlessly affectionate. Winston is a typical boy dog and will want to run over to every dog on the beach to say hello but he will heel when told. We felt totally comfortable having them off the lead on the beach. Edwina is sweetie but absolutely the lady of the house and will sit on her plinth where you may be permitted to scratch her chin or ears. Emma and Jonny are great, well organised hosts. They have a beautiful home in St Agnes and very friendly neighbours. It's a great place with nice places to get coffee or lunch as you head to one of the many stunning beaches. We would come back in a heartbeat!
Always happy to help fellow traveling animal lovers in need when I'm available, I jumped at the short notice chance to take care of (and snuggle with) the adorbs Mr. Brennan for Natalie and Corey. Being just a couple neighborhoods away, I told Corey that their COVID time rehab story had inspired me to open up the Pandora's Box that is my own century home's long-overdue revitalization. I realized, too, during my few day's stay in their industrial chic-decorated home, that I don't think I have the vision / (talent?) to finish a house in such an absolutely pleasing way. All this reflection shared to say that Brennan is a super sweet boy while Corey and Natalie are great pet parents with a beautiful home on a quiet street, (which I also found amazing given that they're so close to commercial Detroit Ave. and W. 65th Street's Gordon Square District.) Executive Summary: Don't miss an opportunity to sit for these fine folks and their all-too-lovely boy Brenny. 😻
