My stay with Woody was a pleasure. He is calm, well behaved, friendly, good on the lead and over all very easy to take of. There are 2 tiny, tiny fish and Ravi, the leopard gecko too. Fish were easy to take care of and the gecko the same. It was interesting to watch her in the terrarium. Sweet. The family was very much welcoming and made me feel comfortable just from the beginning. I got very easy ideas for the best walks with Woody and we had time for a walk all together. Great help. The house is a really comfortable family house with a lovely garden and it is absolutely clean, tidy and the kitchen is equipped with everything you may think of. Being invited to just help myself in the kitchen is so lovely. Staying in a comfortable bedroom what no to like. Staying in Alvechurch and close to Redditch I was positively surprised by the hugh and easily walkable nature reserve at their doorstep. Not to forget the leisure center almost next door with indoor swimming pool and very intriguing courses. I did enjoy my stay, would like to be invited again and can recommend it to anybody.
We really enjoyed our sit with Gordy! He is a very well-behaved dog with a sweet disposition, fun personality and a love of walks on the golf course. Patti & Ian are lovely people. They have a very nice, comfortable home with an gorgeous patio and surrounding garden! They also have a truly great group of neighbors, and a highlight was meeting them out on the golf course for doggy play group each morning! A short drive will get you into town for grocery, banking and great restaurants. Within 30 minutes you can see the classic Timberline Lodge and hike some beautiful lakes. We highly recommend Trillium Lake! This was a truly wonderful petsit and we can’t wait to return to see our pal Gordy!
We had a delightful time in Leiden. Brit's house is beautiful and Pippin is just lovely to be with. He is so relaxed and easy to take care of, just give him some loving and cuddles. We felt thoroughly welcomed and had all the information we needed. Leiden is a great city and very well connected.
We had a fantastic time house sitting for Justine and Kevin. They were very kind and welcoming from the get-go. The cats were easy and came around for some affection when they felt like it. Sylvester especially loves a chat and a cuddle. The house was in a stunning location near the water, where we could swim and watch the seals. The garden is beautiful, and it was great being able to pick some fresh greens and veggies straight from the backyard.
Rachel is an amazing host. She was excellent at communicating and her home was wonderful. The location is perfect for getting to experience Austin without being in the center of Austin. Hannah was a breath of fresh air from my high energy dogs. She was truly a sweetheart. She loved to go for walks and would cuddle up on the couch when I was working on my dissertation. Hannah definitely knows where she wants to walk and that she gets a treat when she gets home. It’s adorable. I really enjoyed my opportunity to stay with Hannah and would definitely spend more time with her in the future.
I had a lovely stay at Catherine's, she was very communicative and helpful. She left me with great recommendations and her home was close to all the amazing spots around the city. Rene and Atticus were shy in the beginning but warmed up quickly - they love to play and are both very sweet. I would recommend this sit to anyone.
