Molly was very communicative and make sure that cash had everything he needed. She left the house neat and tidy and even asked if she could leave me some delicious ssausages.
This sit was stupendous!! Sheila is a blessing and beautiful soul. Her home and her pets reflected all these qualities. Highly highly recommend. Thank you Sheila for your trust and confidence in me to take care of your previous fur babies.
Bill & Goose were such a joy to be around. Easy going, tamed & full of love! Really enjoyed watching & hanging out with them.
Katrina and Bill are remarkable people both as individuals and a couple. They explained with clarity everything needed to make me both comfortable and successful in what I did. Their warm welcome and generosity with their time and resources made me feel like I've been their neighbor for a long time. The dogs are ready and eager for their walks and just as ready for quiet time in front of the wood fire. Caring for them was a moving experience. Illyx (think Felix or Helix) is older, but meandering unleashed among the pasture grass you can tell he relives memories of his younger years. Finch has boundless energy in the pastures never tiring of chasing sticks you throw and racing around with them in her mouth. Pictures of the house and property really don't capture the experience of being there. If one enjoys quiet, reflective time and the companionship of two lovable characters this is your sit. It was FIVE STAR in all ways.
This was a wonderful, relaxing sit with the most gorgeous dogs. Luke and Ben are beautiful, big and bouncy and have a wonderful garden to play in. It was a delight watching Luke being teased by the squirrels as they ran along the back wall, him barking every now and then with Ben looking on having a good sniff around. There were also a couple of tortoises to care for, a new experience for me, but it was all very straightforward once Joanne had gone through their routine with me. You’ll have to keep an eye on Elliot, the smaller of the two, as he can move surprisingly fast! Joanne and Matthew’s home is very comfortable and they made my Mum and I feel very welcome. We met beforehand as they wanted to be sure my Mum (in her 70s) could handle the dogs and, although they are quite bouncy and could be jumpy, they really were no trouble. The location is perfect - in the countryside and very peaceful but just a 20min drive to Doncaster train station and about 10 mins to a large Tescos. We had a great trip to the very local English Heritage site Brodsworth Hall, which is a Victorian Manor House with beautiful gardens and went to the village of Wentworth in nearby Rotherham where we did a walk to The Needles Eye. Thank you Joanne and Matthew for trusting us with your precious pets and your lovely home x
Rose and David were really communicative on the run up to the sit, with Rose even making some short videos and sending photos to make the transition into the sit as easy and simple as possible. Unfortunately, both at the start and end, we didn't get to meet, however, it didn't make any difference (other than it would have been lovely to see each other in person 😊). CeeCee is a lovely cat. She is a little timid and likes to have her own space, but, will happily rub along with you so long as she is fed and has some "me" time to wander around the garden and can sit on the window watching you or the birds 😻 We really enjoyed our time. The house is very comfortable and the area is great for countryside or London - if you need it. We would definitely recommend this sit and would happily return in future.
Morgan and Rory are a delightful, friendly couple who welcomed me warmly to their lovely home in Balham in a perfect location with transport, shops, restaurants and cafés galore on the doorstep. Their rather handsome cat Vinny gave me a lovely welcome too but then did a rather good imitation of the Cheshire Cat, as I hardly saw him except at meal times and when I lured him in with Dreamies! I was hopeful the would join me on the sofa or bed but alas, ‘‘twas not to be. We had some lovely weather, so I can only think he must have found far more interesting companions than me in the neighbourhood!
