Being with dear timid natured little Tasha was made so much appreciated with having her owner, Pippa, making me feel very welcomed and leaving clear care notes on how to look after Tasha, as well as a very cosy and well kept home. I got to meet a neighbour who made me feel welcomed as well - and had time to go for bush walk and a lovely cafe to sit and chat. I took Tasha on two outings each day and got to see the lovely neighbourhood surrounds and various other walks to take Tasha. She was a bit hesitant on going for walks, but with a bit of coaching to get her happy (by giving snack rewards) we managed to have pleasant walks each time. Pippa had a great holiday with her friends O/S’s and was pleased to see how happy her Tasha was when she arrived home. I highly recommend any future sitters to know they would be happy to be there. I would also be delighted to be there again if asked.
This house sit is not for everyone so make sure it is right for you. Homeowners will expect you to not leave the dogs alone for more than 2 hours. There will be expectations to walk the dogs three times a day. Arrival time was discussed but never was there an agreement on departure time so make sure to agree on that to avoid any conflict & negative review! This is perfect for a remote worker who needs a place to stay inside all day, not for travelers who want to be out and about. This is a full-time house sit.
I would highly recommend sitting for Eugene! Eugene did a great job communicating with me on the expectations of the sit and was quick to respond to me if I had any questions during sit, even though he was out of the country. I appreciate that we were able to meet up ahead of time so I could meet Niko and feel comfortable with the sit. Niko is such a sweet and well-trained boy! He made our walks so easy due to his training. I loved how Niko would remind me when he need to go out for our walks which was so cute. In addition, I loved how Niko would stay by my side all day as I worked from home and would sleep next to me on the floor at night even though his bed was downstairs. I already miss him!
As first experience here in TrustedHousesitters, could't be better!!! Tanya was really nice, she also left some food for me! She explained everything very clear so, no doubts about what could I do in case of emergency or any inconvenient.Having my own room and a modern house with Internet... let me stay quiet, relaxed and could work alone, without any noise... and with the company of two LOVELY cats!!!!El Escorial is a very nice place and the town offers a lot for chilling out, great views and for long walks you have the mountains around.
The tribe of Ashely and Chris is one to experience! The idea of taking care of 7 animals was even a first for us seasoned pet sitters, but from the first moment we understood that we're entering a special household. Each fur baby has such a unique and sweet personality, and you really make a bond with each one of them from the beginning. Ashely and Chris were great with explaining all the responsibilities and preparing all the different needs of each pet to make it easy on us (it was really easy, they have a good system y'all) and being available for every question we had, and in general made us feel really welcomed in their house. We will miss the fun moments with all of them, Ashely and Chris, thanks for a great stay!
Belle and Taco are the most lovable dogs ever❤️ We house sat on a rainy day and staying in to watching movies with these two pups was a great way to rejuvenate and warmed our hearts very much. Thank you Jake for welcoming us into your home and giving us the chance to spend some time with Taco and Belle.
