Kate was a fabulous pet and house sitter, from our first contact through the whole experience. She was very comfortable with Gunnar from the start and he immediately took to her. I found him sleeping on the guest bed the morning after I returned home - I think he missed her! Kate took great care of my house, and kept in contact while I was away so I knew all was well. I had flown to Florida from Maine so I had to trust everything would be ok. Kate earned the title "Zeewoi" for sure. I wouldn't hesitate to have Kate back, and can highly recommend her to others. Five stars all around!
Thanks a lot to Anna and her husband for their trust. They were very welcoming and supportive hosts and it was a pleasure to be invited for a dinner on the first evening. I loved the time with their cute and friendly cat Colin and the stay in their beautiful house. Colin is a wonderful cat and it's a real pleasure to take care of him. It is a rural and quiet area and you definitely need a car which I have expected. Definitely a great sit!
Loved this sit. The girl are real characters and were super fun to hang out with. The apartment was lovely and comfortable with an amazing view of the river. Bronwyn and Chris were very welcoming and always prompt with responding to any messages and provided clear instructions. Would be more than happy to sit for again.
Judith and Miles are a lovely couple, relaxed,organised, and made us feel very welcome in their spectacular home. Ralph and Wallace are affectionate, well trained, great company and have an established routine which makes them a joy to be with. Wallace, despite his size, is incredibly gentle and cooperative. There are lovely walks on the beach and into the woods straight from the house. The dogs were very easy to walk both on and off the lead. It was a pleasure spending a long weekend relaxing with Ralph and Wallace in stunning location.
We could tell from the previous reviews that this was probably a great sit and we weren't wrong! Jaxy and Luna stole our hearts, they are such a sweet, funny pair and genuinely relaxing to be around. They walked well on leash and off leash at the beach they never strayed too far. Claire and Kevin's place is gorgeous too - a really comfortable, clean and beautiful home surrounded by moss covered trees. It's close to the shops and lots of wineries but to be honest we mostly spent the time on the deck watching the world go by with the pups Claire and Kevin themselves were awesome, so friendly and easy to talk to which meant we immediately felt right at home. So many good things to say - highly recommend this sit :)
Staying with Lily and Lou was great! Lily and I really bonded as she is super sweet dog that likes to cuddle and be close. We enjoyed all the days out in the snow, exploring and sniffing the cold mountain air together! Beth was very helpful , as I was trying to book my flights and shuttle to the area. I traveled from the South and therefore around Xmas and the snow, we worked together to make sure I wouldn't be stuck in Denver because of weather. She was happy to let me take advantage of the area with some of her ski gear. Overall, very open, friendly and amicable to making sure this sit worked for both of us. It was a wonderful opportunity to be in Aspen for Xmas week, and I thoroughly enjoyed myself in her beautiful space with her super sweet animals. Thank you, Beth, Lily and Lou!
