Missy was a fantastic and a caring pet sitter. She took the time to work with Mae on training along with taking her for walks in the area. The house was spotless when we came home. Thanks again Missy. You can come back anytime.
Alexandra did a wonderful job with my Husky Casper - at a time when he needed paw treatment and a set of medications - and left my place cleaner than she found it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a responsible sitter with attention to detail.
I had the pleasure of living with an incredibly cuddly and affectionate cat who always kept me company during my daily tasks. The student apartment, though small, was wonderfully cozy and well-organized. Our communication flowed seamlessly, and I could effortlessly send my reports, complete with pictures, every morning as we had agreed.
I had a great time looking over Gus and Nola for the week! They each have their unique personalities. Nola is quiet but looooves to sit on you any chance she can get. Gus is the vocal one (not afraid of asking for what he wants!) but a bit more independent (although he loves his cuddles and being brushed!). Jess was the perfect host, communication was excellent and I arrived to a clean house and perfectly made bed. I also appreciated that her house had central air conditioning (something which is a bit of a luxury in Barcelona). The neighborhood is very safe, well connected and close to the heart of Barcelona. Thanks Jess for everything!
We met Leora in her house a few days before the sit – she introduced us to her pets, their routine and very thoroughly explained everything that was important for us and made sure that we would have a comfortable sit in her lovely place. She also had a very detailed printout and Welcome Guide on the THS website as handy reference material. Leora drove us around to show us where to go for walks with the dog and how to get to the centre of Winchester. She gave us recommendations on what to see and which pubs to visit. We followed her recommendations and had excellent experiences. If you do a sit here, take advantage of the guided tours. It’s worth it as the guides are very knowledgeable and passionate about the town which has a very rich history. Leora is a quick and good communicator. We always felt that she was just a message away if we needed her. The pets are cherries on the cake! Each of them has a unique personality. Boris is sweet and always happy to get cuddles and scratches. He always comes back when you call his name and also stops when he hears a whistle. He was very patient when being washed and dried after a muddy walk. He loves to jump in the local streams. He is OK on the leash, but sometimes makes a strange noise like a pig but not too often. During the night he was sleeping on his bed that we moved to our bedroom, although he’ll get on the bed if you let him and there’s room. Kirabelle was a lovely white princess - she was happy to sleep on our laps and always was around checking out what we were doing. If you move too quickly though, she’ll fly away like the wind. Ziggy on the other hand was invisible (hunting apparently) until the moment someone appears in the kitchen, then he appeared and miaowed for his favourite prawn fix. Don’t fall for his trick of getting you both to separately give him his prawn treat, as he’s happy to get double or triple portions till you notice that the prawns are disappearing too quickly. During the night he loved to sleep with us on the bed. Leora has a wonderful house on many levels, in a very safe neighbourhood on the top of a big hill. We met a few neighbours who recognised Boris and were friendly and offered to help us if we needed it. Generally, we had a lovely time here and we recommend this sit to everyone! Thank you, Leora, for trusting us with your house and pets!
We had a wonderful stay for a couple of days with Ol' Woody, the sweetest and most adorable big boy. He's always looking to hang nearby and an excuse to wag his tail! The Madrona Neighborhood is beautiful with lots of eats and easy transit offerings, the block feels friendly with kind neighbors, and their 1905 craftsman home is astonishing and still cozy. We were so comfortable (before and during our stay) and would *definitely* come back. :)
Suzanne and Jeff's home was amazing. Marlee their wonderful Puli was so adorable, heard every comand and loved us both to the extreme. The weather could not have been worse, poor Marlee had to deal with torrential rain, and she did this so very well. Suzanne's home was a joy to stay in. We would be back in a heartbeat, if asked... Suzanne answered all our questions and texts quickly and efficiently. Great hosts, great pet, great house....
Amazing cats with unique personalities. They were easy to take care of and it was really fun to watch them! Virginia provided us with a dedicated guest room and a very detailed welcome guide. Highly recommend this house sit!
