This is genuinely one of the most amazing sits I’ve ever ever done. Craig is a wonderful host and a beautiful human. The house its setting and location are absolutely gorgeous. if you’re looking to get away from it all then this is the right sit for you. There are fantastic hikes all around the property is huge. There is no cell service but there is a lot of fresh air and nature. Scout is a gorgeous dog who has lots of energy but is not overwhelming. He’s easy to care of and very obedient and gentle. I had a really lovely time on my seat and I would happily come back any time.

Katmandu is such a sweetie 😊 He warmed up to me within the first day and while sitting on the floor with him, I was able to give him pats, ear rubs and lots of brushing throughout the weekend; his gentle purring is a heart warmer. Now that I've completed the sit, I can confirm that your listing is well represented for sitters considering your place, location, home style and responsibilities. I would like to highlight the delightful sunroom in your home and the outdoor yard space and deck; a nice perk for summer evenings in New England and a great "nature view" in this coastal city. I do admit that I would have liked to have had a TV in a "livingroom" type space, but we made it work in the master bedroom. It may be that due to my - eh hum - healthy hips....that in sleeping in the master bed on the memory foam mattress, there was a squeak in the metal bed frame. There is such a neat positive vibe in your home with engaging art work and visual interest to appreciate. With natural light throughout, especially sunlight pouring in through the front windows in the morning while enjoying our tea and coffee, it all makes for a relaxing and inviting space. Katmandu sleeping in his tower and by the open front door in the sunlight and keeping with his routine is what makes being a THsitter rewarding🙂 I'm glad you enjoyed the videos and texts of Katmandu, as I like to engage with hosts. And your timely replies and kind words were appreciated! For sitters reading this review, *note* that 4* "cleanliness" is NOT a ding per se but rather a means by which to say that while the space is not pristine, it is well lived-in with charm and character and to which I would gladly return if invited back. Also note the overall 5* Rochelle is a quintessential THS home host with a welcoming and hospitable manner. She welcomed me to stay with my step-father, whose daughter and family live in Swampscott. We had a lovely time staying at Rochelle's "low maintenance" home base while visiting the area and truly enjoyed giving Katmandu affection and attention. I wholeheartedly recommend this sit! Sitting for Wendy and Rory was an absolute delight!!!! Let me begin by acknowledging how lovely they both were. What a sweet, cool, humble, genuinely lovely couple! They have 2 golden retrievers and a cat normally, but to my delight they were also looking after a sweet little scamp (that completely stole my heart) called Georgie. All three dogs gave me so much joy for the short amount of time that I was in their home and I'm now really missing their love! (Like, genuinely missing it). Their house is a bit of a trek from central London, but it was worth it. Speaking of which, their house is also lovely! The star of the show is the basement where the dogs live and where the family room is. A lounge and kitchen, that opens onto a decking/garden. Great space! The surrounding area is beautiful too. Trees everywhere. And I also had a curry from the curry house near the station, which, you guessed it, was excellent too!! A thoroughly enjoyable stay! Thank you Wendy and Rory for letting me into your lives.
Impossible to have a better experience in Madrid. Julien and Ivo were always very attentive and we maintained excellent communication. The reference guide was super clear and when we met they explained everything we needed to spend some beautiful days in the city... in the guide and in their conversations they gave us many tips on places to visit, restaurants, etc... and all the ones we made were perfect! The location is excellent since it is about 200 meters from the Embajadores metro station with which you can reach all the tourist points of the city if you prefer not to walk. Within walking distance of the apartment are the Paseo del Prado with its museums, the beautiful Madrid Rio green space with its El Matadero cultural center or the Atocha train station. Walking you also get to the Rastro, Latin Quarter, Lavapies, etc.The apartment is very comfortable and has a large terrace with beautiful plants of all kinds. To all this is added the warm company of Leon and Frijol... we fell in love with them, their behavior is amazing and they are very cuddly but they can also stay alone for many hours and when they return they give you love. It was a beautiful experience in its entirety and we would love to be able to live it again on a next visit to Madrid. We are already missing the beautiful Leon and Frijol. My partner Nicol and I enjoyed looking after Rufus and Cuba. They are very easy going, well behaved, and loveable dogs. Louise and Jonathan are very welcoming hosts, and we felt right at home. The place was spotless, and excellent printed notes were provided to make the stay smooth and easy. I would highly recommend a sit here and would do it again for sure!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at David and Jessica’s home. They are warm and communicative and their home is spacious and comfortable. The pups are adorable; Micco is a big cuddler and Charlie wants to play all day. They are strong boys and do need a firm hand on the leash when around other dogs, but are easily distracted with treats.

We had a great experience with Bentley’s. Boarded my dog over Christmas holidays. The place seemed super clean, and my dog was in a great mood, and smelled great when I picked her up. I’ve boarded her in other places where she comes home smelling of urine, so it was a nice experience having her come home so happy and clean. The owner was also super accommodating and friendly.
We just had a pretty awful experience at Bentley's Ruff House. Our dog stayed there twice, but I can no longer recommend this place. The second day into our trip I received an upsetting phone call from the owner and video clip that was sent showing our dog in a corner with an employee and our dog acting aggressive toward her which we have never witnessed from him since he was a puppy until now 5 1/2 years later. I was pretty upset the rest of our short trip and wanted to pick up my dog a day early once we arrived back in town, but because it was outside of their pickup window of 7-9 am that day she absolutely refused. I asked her to reconsider and let her know I was willing to come at any convenient time for her that afternoon or evening, but she made me wait until the next day which was extremely difficult and emotional for me. The owner repeated to me several times over the phone during our two conversations that "this is not a home environment this is a boarding facility and is very stressful for dogs". The owner showed zero sympathy on our phone call and continued to use my first name while talking over me, and even had her employee listening in on the other line. I know this because she also started speaking over me during the conversation. I received the worst customer service ever from Bentley's. Thankfully, we were allowed to pick up our dog the next day first thing in the morning and he seems to be back to his old, sweet self. I am not one to write negative reviews, but I think others need to be aware of our experience.
We have been taking our dogs here for years. They are fantastic! My dogs always are happy to go & are clean when we pick them up. Sometimes our lab isn’t (but that’s her issues, not because they do not try). I know they have had some bad word of mouth, but please be open to the fact that there are always 3 sides to everything! Each individual parties experience and what actually happened! Please don’t try to shutdown a small business that provides excellent care for many of our fur babies!
Do not recommend My dog had a bloody eye and had to take him to the vet and costed me 400 dollars if you want your dog to cost you more money go here.
They love our dogs and treat them like their own. Great for a one day or week long drop off with reasonable prices and fun accommodations. Great staff and owners who really care about all of the dogs.
This place advertises boarding for a flat $50 a day and they say it includes free play all day for your dog. They state they aren't like other boarders who charge extra to let the dog out of a crate. But as you read further down you discover they have added a $25 per day for "day care" so essentially its $25 to let your dog out of the crate. For two small dogs it would total $150 per day and I have to bring my own food. Plus, the drop of and pick up times are extremely and ridiculously limited. For the same weekend my room at the Holiday Inn is less! So its costing more for two crates than it is for a hotel room with free maid service! This place is set up for the comfort and convenience of the owners and not for customers. They have the audacity to charge these exorbitant amounts and then severely limit when you can drop off or pick up your dog. Unbelievable.
They are an amazing group of ladies here! Always so friendly and helpful! Ive been taking my boy Kingston here when I need to travel and they have always been the best! Kingston is always super excited when I take him there and when I pick him up! Its a fun doggy vacation for him. They always go above and beyond and give me peace of mind knowing my dog is loved and safe. I will never go anywhere else! 1000% recommend them! 6 stars if i could!
This place is much cheaper than its competitor on the other side of town. They are further from our house but it's worth it. They are a great family and take care of our dogs when we are gone for a few days. They always cater to their usual customers and let them know when they are getting really busy so that they can set dates. Their facility is very clean and they will even give the dogs a bath if they are there for longer than 2 days. Highly recommend.

Our dogs LOVE it here. We recently moved here and travel regularly so it has been a relief to find a great place to board our pups when we're gone. It is a family-run business and we know and genuinely like them all! They have also gotten us on schedule at a moment's notice not once but a few times. Highly recommend.
I've known the owner of Paw Paradise (Mike) for over 20 years now and for the entire time I've known him, he has always had an unspeakable bond with dogs. Back when we first met, his dogs were like family. We have been using Debbie for over two years now when we go out of town and she is always incredible. The updates and photos she sends everyday keep us from worrying about our 3 cats and since Debbie is always so nice, the cats have grown used to her and don’t have to hide.
Can't say enough great things about Debbie! We have 2 dogs that she has boarded for us for >5 years now. They absolutely LOVE staying with Debbie and getting to hang out in her backyard and play with the other dogs. She treats them like family members. One of our dogs has 3 medications and Debbie has never had any issues making sure she gets her meds. We have referred a few people to Debbie and all have raved about her services. Our family literally plans our trips around whether Debbie is available to watch the dogs (and she usually is). We enjoy being out of town so much more knowing that the dogs are so well taken care of!
Finding Debbie has made my life so much simpler/better! I have last-minute business trips and having her available to take care of my very sensitive/anxious pup, has been amazing. She sends pictures & updates while I'm gone so that I don't have to worry! And...since she only takes smaller dogs, Daisy is getting socialized in a way that she doesn't while at home. Her yard is also beautiful for the dogs to enjoy...bonus!

We can go away feeling very comfortable that he is in a home environment where he’s cared for and loved. He gets excited as soon as we turn down Debbie’s street. We had our dog over once during the day and one time over night to practice for a longer vacation stay. She was very friendly and had only a few small dogs over. The second time we wanted to pick up our dog a little earlier than planned but she wasn’t at home and asked us to come back 4 hours later. All the dogs ran to the front window as we waited there and nobody opened the door, which meant they were at home alone for most of the day at least. This broke our trust. Anything could have happened while the dogs all agitated around. She also forgot to return our treats that we gave her for our dog specifically, when I asked to pick them up the next day she didn’t know which one were ours. We will not book her again.
I feel very comfortable anytime we leave our pets entrusted with Debbie. Always punctual, spends time with our pets and appreciate the text/photos of our animals following each visit. Fantastic!
I love Dogtopia! It was super easy making an appointment to get my dog established and you can tell the company is ran very well. I met with Autumn for our initial visit and she was so thorough and answered all of my many questions. The hours are great and they make drop off and pick up so fast! I love that I can see my dog on the pup cam to check on her too. She gets so excited to go and is so tired when she gets home. My dog likes to play and it’s nice knowing there is a clean and safe place I can take her to. They also have the dogs that are closer in age together so they all have similar play styles which I appreciate. Diane (the owner) helped me picking up my dog and she was so nice and genuine. It’s obvious she wants everyone to have a great experience at her business. I only wish I started taking my dog here sooner!

Happy pup! Our dog is a year old and lacking in social skills. His first daycare experience was rough AT A DIFFERENT daycare in Newcastle where they used shock collars and no cameras. I was nervous 😬 after that experience! Dogtopia to the rescue! When I went to Dogtopia in Rocklin I asked a LOT of questions! The staff answered all of my questions and didn’t seem bothered by my helicopter parenting. They were patient with my nervous pup and kept in mind his anxiety with his activities that day. Facility: Top notch! Employees seem happy and treated well. Place is clean. Pups look happy. Cameras give transparency. Have you ever seen a place leave a carpet out at the parking lot for puppies to not get hot paws? Maybe it’s just glam, but appreciated nonetheless. Staff: super friendly, helpful, and answered all of my questions! It sounds like the owner is amazing and does philanthropic work as well as takes great care of the facility and employees. The handlers are doing a great job! Tech: there’s an app with a ton of functionality to see dog cams and schedule appointments. There’s security and all the tech you can think of to keep the pups safe and sound during boarding. Policies: so far it looks like everything is set in place to ensure that the customers are served, the pups are safe and happy, and the staff is equally safe and happy. I haven’t experienced any bait and switch or scammy behavior which is common in some other facilities. Rooms: you can see online the rooms have been setup with care. There’s plenty of puppy proofed cleanable flooring and ramps, and crates for naps. I didn’t post the pictures of our camera due to privacy for others, but what you see online is exactly what you’ll see in person. There are multiple rooms for different types of dogs. I’m extremely happy to have this resource as we have our hands full with multiple kids, a child with special needs, and a busy schedule. This facility is not close to our home but it’s worth the drive! Thank you for protecting and caring for our furry family member!
Dogtopia is my doggos favorite place! I know when I drop him off he is playing like crazy and having the best time! I travel a lot so having a place Im 100% comfortable with, that I know my dog loves makes everything so much better!! Photo days are the best!

My big boy Bengal, Dezi had a great time here. The facility was very nice and clean too. He got his own two room suite! The staff made him feel safe and loved and he wasn’t stressed when I picked him up. This was his first time away from home and I wasn’t sure how it would go. He will be coming back to visit again.
I have used Best Friends since 2002. All of my dogs have done great and I had a dog with some “issues” and she was handled well. There were never any problems after their visit at the “spa” as we referred to it. My two small dogs just returned from their spa visit and Max was on medication and he did great and our Gracie was happy too. Highly recommend!! 🐾🐾

We brought our Golden, Lola, here for the first time for a full grooming experience. She is terrified of loud noises--the girl who met us at check-in was extremely gentle with our dog, calming, and got her to settle down. We knew immediately that Lola was in good hands. They brought Lola out looking better than she ever has at any other grooming appointment--complete with a fresh bandana and bow. We loved our experience here!
First time with Best Friends over the Christmas holiday. She was pretty excited to go with the staff and seemed great when we picked up. We had a long delay on our return train ride and the staff was very understanding. I felt very comfortable with her accommodations and would definitely use them again next time we travel.

My cat, Jewel, is very shy and hides from strangers. However, when Rose gently called out to her, rather than run and hide, she remained inquisitive and let Rose pet her. It was then, I knew Jewel would be fine while I was gone. Rose sent me daily updates with pictures. Jewel was well cared for, and I will be using Rose for all my best sitting needs! Rose has been our go-to pet sitter for three years now. We have two large male house cats. Rose provides peace of mind while we are gone, in part because she posts us by text early each morning with a short report on that morning's visit and how the cats are. She also makes written notes on each visit and leaves them for us. She is careful and conscientious and very easy to work with. We have never had a problem with her service and recommend Always Available whole- heartedly.
Rose watched my two boxers for me. It was somewhat nerve wracking having a non family member watch my girls. But Rose is very professional and thorough. During the meet and greet my dogs seemed to settle fairly well with her presence too. She texts a picture and update every day. Would definitely use her again!
I recently used always available pet sitting for a long weekend away from my pet. Rose was fantastic. She was very thorough on what services I should expect & walked me through everything. I received photos of my kitty every day that I was gone & even came home to a very cute thank you card and notes from each day she visited with kitty. Excellent service. I will absolutely be working with Rose again. Highly recommend if you need to head out of town and can't bring your fur babies along for the trip.
Rose was amazing and easy to work with. We never tried pet sitting before so I would text her frequently but she was always so friendly and reassuring . She would send photos and updates. I recently had Rose watch my eight dogs (two large dogs and six small dogs) and my two cats. I was gone overnight and my pets are not used to this. However I am pleased to say that my pets have taken kindly to Rose and they were well taken care of when I was gone. Rose sent text pictures with each of her visits. Unfortunately she had to clean up after one of my dogs but the place was immaculate when I got home. I highly recommend rose for pet sitting and I plan on using her in the future.
We highly recommend Rose, Always Available Pet Sitting. Right from the beginning Rose was organized and business-like, taking note of the names of each pet, the amount of food, times of day to be fed, locations for food, treats, etc. Rose cared for our 4 dogs and cat for 9 days while we went on vacation. She did not hesitate to come an extra day when our flight was canceled last minute. Rose did a lot more than just feed our fur babies. She spent time playing with them as well as watching their behavior to make sure they got along and played together safely. (We have 3 large dogs and a small beagle.) She even called us to make sure we were comfortable with what she saw. She left notes from each day and also texted us notes and photos. It’s clear Rose loves animals and has experience with animal behavior. We felt so much more at ease on our vacation knowing Rose was watching our pets. We will be using Rose’s services again.
Cooper spent 5 days at Fletchers farms over Christmas. Clayton was very responsive when I messaged him during Cooper’s stay. Cooper came home happy and exhausted from all the running, companions and fresh air. Thank you Clayton, see you next time.
My babies love going to FF and spending the day with Clayton. They have space to run around in the fresh air and get lots of exercise. They are so happy and relaxed when I pick them up. I can’t imagine what I’d do without Fletchers Farms. Your babies will thank you!
Sunday father’s Day evening I dropped my dog off at Fletcher Farms where my dog has previously been about 15 other times. This time it ended with my dog dying on their watch. They attached him to a choker collar and put a long leash leash n him and left him unattended long enough for him to get tangled and choke himself to death. He did not die because of a medical condition he died because of the neglect from the people taking care of my dog. These are not people you want supervising your dog. I had a healthy one year old dog with no medical conditions. My dog would still be alive today had they paid better attention and did not leave him unattended.
Fletcher Farms is a great place for dog daycare and boarding. We have been using their service for many years we consider them family. Stays have spanned from 1 day to 2 weeks. Clayton is a natural at bonding with all types and breeds. He has countless years of experience with animals. The property is a large canine vacation resort where the dogs can run, play and swim. Clayton is super personable, responsive, and trustworthy. We are grateful we found Fletcher Farms and Clayton. Thanks Clayton for years of service!! We highly recommend Fletcher Farms for dog day care/dog boarding services! A++
I couldnt imagine a better place for you to bring your dog! It's safe to say that my dog enjoys being at Fletcher Farms more than she likes to be at home. Your dog is safe to roam in the fields, splash around in the ponds, and play endless games of fetch. Finding Clayton was one of the best things to happen to me and my dog Lady. I am lucky to have such a wonderful caretaker and my dog's life is significantly more enjoyable because she gets to spend time at Fletcher Farms. I highly reccomend that you choose to take your dogs here. They are in good hands.
Our dog is always excited to see Clayton when we bring him to Fletcher Farms for boarding. Clayton got to know Sarge and interacts uniquely with each dog. There is always supervision of the dogs and a great property for all of them to run and swim. We tried several boarders bur once we found Clayton we will not take our dog anywhere else. Highly recommend.

I am so thankful to Vickie at BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! I am the kind of dog mom that puts my 2 boys Doug and Rusty (dachshunds) above myself. I set my house up so that THEY are happy and comfortable. I have a low bed,, doggie ramps everywhere and there are dog toys all over. I would say that they are a little spoiled ❤️🐾🐾❤️ I only trust a few people with my dogs. I recently moved to Fair Oaks. I searched online for pet sitting and called Vicky, the owner of Bow-Wow pet sitting and boarding. I asked many questions. I then looked at her reviews on Yelp and decided that I would give her a call back. She was able to take my dogs the next day. She was so great! My dogs were barking and have separation anxiety. I immediately felt comfortable with Vicky. She is very kind and obviously loves animals. Her house is set up perfectly - she can separate dogs if necessary but still see them, they are not locked away in a closed room. She had a big wonderful yard to play in. When I picked up my boys they were happy and not stressed. Now they WANT to go there! Even though I'm done moving I intend to to take them to Vicky's at least once a week because they love her and I don't take them in the car and leave them when running errands. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VICKIE AND BOW -WOW PET SITTING!!! She is reasonably priced and very accommodating. ******************!!!!💕
I am appalled at the neglect and inhumane treatment of my dog. We left my dog Roxxy there for the weekend over 4th of July. We made sure they were aware she was a rescue dog with anxiety, and we were guaranteed that our dog would not be left alone during the fireworks. After we got our dog home, that night we realized her mouth was severally injured. Apparently, she had been left outside in a metal crate during fireworks while the owners of Bow Pow Pet sitting went to the liquor store, and tried to chew her way out causing the damage to her mouth. Multiple teeth had been broken off, her gums were destroyed and she had literally chewed so long and hard the bone of her jaw was damaged. We were never notified that our dog had been injured under their care, we had to wait to find out when we got her back, and with the extent of the injury being as bad as it was I have a hard time believing there were no signs of blood or injury when it happened. The surgery to fix my dog's mouth was over $3,500, which Bow Wow Pet sitting never even tried to repay. I felt the owners of Bow Wow pet sitting were unprofessional and down right negligent to have let this happen. To top it all off, after multiple complaints from us they still have pictures of my dog on their website, against my approval, to advertise their business. Usually I am not one to write angry online reviews but I feel strongly that they were negligent towards my dog.
My dogs were well taken care of in a family style environment. Both had individual needs and their needs were well taken care of. Was so pleased with the great care both dogs received! Recommend!
Great attentive people who are dedicated to every animal they come across. Reasonable prices for the amount of service you receive. They always go above and beyond for their customers and our pets.
