This was a really good experience for me, I learnt a lot. Joachim and Karanne are very kind and friendly, they helped me with my stuff, picked me up, also they organised a dinner to meet me better and explained to me more details to look after their pets. Miley is a well behaved dog, she likes to go for a run in the morning, Mia is a queen, she is very special, the birds look after themselves and a beautiful fish, he just needs to be fed every two days. Their house is very beautiful and comfortable, also next to a lake, it's like a dream. Thanks a lot for everything.
This was the best start for Trusted Housesitters, first sit ever. Everything just clicked. Easy and prompt communication with Isabella. Though not serious matters to ask. The house is in perfect location to enjoy English seacoast. You manage just fine using public transportation. Isabella gave wonderful variety of ideas what to do nearby. She also helped with some reservations and mobile phone things. Survival package when arriving late in the evening was such a thoughtful gesture. Cats were just cute. Tender, active, brilliant and acted the way informed. Selena is genious "duracell". Always ready to play and challenge you the most loveliest way you can't imagine. A bit of a young rebel with positive attitude. Sebastian then. He scans you thoroughly for few days. Although he may not take part in activities he is very present. He needs his space as informed by Isabella. You're a cat lover so just wait his evaluation. Thank you awaits you. I warmly recommend this sit when you love cats, walks in the nature and seafront. Plus positive and easygoing host.
What a great sit! Brian and Caesar were so nice and lax. The apartment’s decor made it feel like a really cool Airbnb with the bonus of two sweet pups to keep you company! The sunrises over the lake were spectacular. Be prepared for all the snuggles from Foxy. I would watch Foxy and Buster again in a heartbeat!
Charlotte's house is a very airy, bright, comfortable space with a lovely garden for enjoying or playing with "Swampy" (new nickname). It is also just a 2 minute walk to the lovely estuary side where "Swampy" really lives up to his name whilst entertaining with his incredible stick finding capabilities. What a nose he's got!! At home he is also very keen on playing but is also a very good cuddler on the sofa. A lovely sit with a lovely and hilarious dog.
It was an absolute pleasure to meet Anna and Piggy before the sit, so that we all felt completely comfortable from the off.; John has never had his aftershave licked off his neck with such gusto before! Anna left us a very informative set of notes with details of contacts that we might need, and other useful information both on the property and the surrounding area. We were also instructed to help ourselves to anything in the fridges that we might like and given a lovely bottle of wine too. Anna's property is a beautiful barn conversion, and, though not large, wants for nothing. The property was very clean and comfortable and had all the necessary modern amenities to make our stay a pleasurable one. We were also presented with a very unexpected but very welcome gift at the end of the stay. Piggy is a solid bundle of fun!! She was great fun to be out and about with, enjoying the wonderful Hampshire countryside surrounding Anna's property, snuffling here, there and everywhere or just charging through the long grass and having a good old time romping about. She is very easy to be with, once she knew that we would not tolerate any barking on meeting other dogs, and we only had to tell her once..she is a very intellingent hound!! After that we took her to several "dog friendly pubs" where there were a lot of other four legged friends with their owners, and Piggy was the epitome of a relaxed, well behaved animal. We especially loved the way that she told us that she had not had enough cuddles, by leaning back into the sofa, and pawing the air; a great communicator with a big grin!! We really enjoyed sitting for Anna with Piggy and would have no hesitation in repeating the experience in the future, or just popping in on a social basis; we have made a new friend through THS..again!

Smarter Than Your Dog provided last minute boarding so that we could coordinate and attend a quickly pulled together wedding for a family member. It was a bit of a scramble but Kelly accommodated my continually changing schedule and provided excellent care for our dog who has, in the past, only stayed with family members. We had a family emergency and found ourselves needing to board our dog. Our sweet, but shy, rescue pup had not previously been boarded before. I was nervous but each staff member I encountered from our meet and greet, dropping off, and picking up at STYD was so kind and understanding. I felt like they truly cared about the well-being of our dog and calming my nerves. I would definitely recommend their boarding services.

I have 2 whippet puppies and started taking them to day care as soon as they were old enough. STYD did a wonderful job of assessing their needs and aligning them with a pack that would work best for them. I just went on a trip for my son’s wedding and we boarded the puppies for the first time. I was able to enjoy the trip because of the fabulous care and communication they provided. I called everyday and they were so understanding. They also provided report cards on how they were doing with pictures. Every person I’ve interacted with at STYD has been fabulous. This is the only place I would trust with my puppies. Before the puppies I use to take my greyhound to STYD. Unfortunately he passed away. So my comments with STYD has been for the care they provided for 2 years, first with a mature greyhound and now the puppies.
I took my Rough Coat Collie in to be groomed today. We have never been there before (our previous groomer passed away). She looks STUNNING! She needed quite a bit of work done- the staff was non judgmental, kind, caring, and compassionate. I'm so thankful for the wonderful job they did, and I'm so fortunate to have found a team of amazing people to take care of my sweet girl.
We have been taking Sunshine to Smarter than your Dog since she was a about 5 months old. We are first time dog owners and on a whim we stopped in there one day to see what it was about. The staff is wonderful. They loved Sunny instantly and it was the start of something beautiful. Over a year later and Sunny goes to camp every Monday. And she will tell you what day it is, Monday's are her favorite! She comes home at the end of it and puts herself to bed- she gets so exhausted from running with her pack! We love Smarter than your Dog. It gives our girl the chance to just dog-out. I trust the staff and love how much they love the dogs. As a bonus, we can get her nails done whenever she needs them trimmed-rhe onsite groomer makes life so easy!! I will say, that I am likely the random person who saw you walking your pup and recommended this business. I make a point of it because they have been so good for our dog. Try it out, can't hurt and your dog may love you even more!!
The groomers at Smarter than your Dog were really great, working us into their schedule and giving our two dogs one of the best nail trim & grinds they've ever had. We also very happy with STYD's emphasis on health and safety of the dogs and people. Thank you! We will be back!
I have been bringing my dog Luke to STYD for a year now. I really appreciated how Kelly took the time to figure out what days Luke would mix well with the other dogs due to their individual personalities. Luke LOVES going to daycare and he leaves tired every time. The staff communicates well with me should they notice anything out if the ordinary in Luke’s behavior or if there is anything I need to keep an eye on. It is a great feeling to be able to leave Luke and never worry about him. I know that he is being well taken care of by the staff and he’s having a great time playing with his four legged friends! We are moving soon and STYD has set the bar very high for me to find another place for Luke.
The best thing about Puget Hounds is that my dearest dog, Jake, loves to go there. He gets his hugs and love from the lovely people who work there. He has his regular dog friends. It is a second home to him. He is safe, he is fed to my directions. It is a great place for a dog and a great business to work with for a dog’s owner.
My dog Mady seems to love all of your staff. I believe that he has a good time playing with the other dogs. I was so impressed with Amber on your staff. I am handicapped and I was fearful that my dog could get out when someone opened the front dog if he was not tight on his leash. Amber helped me put his leash and harness on. She was so thoughtful and kind. Mady is only ten months old. He is a lot for me to handle with my osteoarthritis, but no one could love him more dearly and give him a better home than me. He needs the socialization at Puget Hound that I cannot give him at home.

It was unnerving sending my fur-baby off to daycare for the first time, but the staff at Puget Hound have been very responsive to any questions or concerns that come up. Bandit has been going to Puget for over two years now. Not only does it give him an opportunity to run and play all day, it gives him time to interact with the other pups, which is a good thing for him. The staff are great. They clean him up on the wet days, and the always have him ready when it's time to go home. Having him somewhere that they show they care about him as much as we do is important.
Puget hound has been such a god send for me! I work from home and am always looking for an opportunity to get my little Rosie the chance to play while I’m typing away. My dog Monty absolutely loves it here! He can't wait to go "play with doggies" as I tell him! The staff is so helpful, attentive, and really love the dogs, and you can really tell the dogs are having fun too. I love that he gets indoor and outdoor play time and comes home tired at the end of the day. I haven't used their boarding yet, but I would feel totally safe leaving Monty with The Puget Hound for any length of time. As a very protective dog parent, having someplace that I can safely leave my pup for the day while I run errands, work, or do whatever needs to be done is priceless. Totally Tails Pet Care Services has provided excellent, caring and reliable dog walking/pet care five days a week for the last year for our two Golden Retrievers (our dogs are now one year old and nine years old). I hired Totally Tails to watch after my 2 dogs while I was on vacation in Hawaii. I knew I didn’t want to kennel them, so I was excited about someone coming to my home to feed, exercise, and care for my pups. Not only do they do a fantastic job of exercising the dogs they sent DAILY photos and follow-ups of their health and progress. These reports made me feel very comfortable with Totally Tails. They also rotated indoor lighting so as to give the impression that someone is always home. Superb service! Beats kenneling when your pups are in their home environment. This was the best pet care service we have ever experienced. An excellent value. The daily 30-minute visit was packed with focused attention to our cat's specific needs: food, medication, daily litter box cleaning, brushing, play time with treats, supervised outdoor deck time (indoor cat), and loving lap petting time. We received a daily review with pictures that served as both comfort and joy to us while we were away. Absolutely reliable. Knowledgeable about animal care. Loving and attentive. Professional. Responsible. Attentive to detail. Michele made sure we provided for unanticipated problems prior to leaving so our bases were covered in any event. THE BEST. We came home to a calm, happy, well cared for cat.
As fellow pet care providers we are quite picky who we leave our pack with should we go out of town. Ramona took care of a large zoo of animals (game birds, fish, Guinea pigs, and dogs). I love Michelle! We trust her implicitly with our dog and home. She goes above and beyond by bringing in our trash cans and packages when she's at our home for a dog visit. I was stressed, four sorta feral cats and I had to take a trip. My vet said boarding was a bad idea because none of them would adjust well - in addition to being expensive. Camano Pet Sitters to the rescue! Not only did they do a professional job I think they made headway with my cats who were actually peeking out at them by the end of the week. I cannot recommend Camano Pet Sitters highly enough - they are now my go to folks when I have to travel. My neighbors, who travel regularly, were so impressed by the level of professionalism and caring my pets received they will be switching to Camano Pet Sitters.
Erik has taken excellent care of our large greyhound since we adopted our pup in March. Greyhounds can be shy and aloof to strangers, but Erik seems to have a natural intuition in engaging with my dog; this is evident during our first meeting, and our boy has maintained a bond with Erik ever since. My significant other and I both have highly demanding jobs, and Erik has been blessing to us especially in caring for our energetic boy both during the day and sometimes overnight home stays. He pays great attention to details, has been flexible with scheduling, and always provide timely updates to let us know how our dog is doing. I knew our pup was in great hands when we arranged a week-long overnight stay with Erik. We have been incredibly pleased with how professional, communicative, and passionate Erik is about taking care of our pup.

Erik has watched our two cats twice now. Both times for four days. One of our cats has asthma and needs an inhaler. Erik has been able to give her this medication with ease and we are so grateful! We highly recommend Erik (Crazy Dog Man) for pet sitting. We have a large black lab/pit bull/Great Dane mix (Harley) that is a rescue, abused as a pup many years ago. He is therefore apprehensive around new people and takes awhile to gain trust. When Harley met Erik earlier this year, he took to him right away. Erik respects and understands Harley and his needs, especially now that he is a senior dog and has health issues. Erik stays at our house when we are on vacation and the occasional weekend, and provides Harley with exceptional care, including all his medications. Erik is definitely in tune with dogs, no matter their size.
Erik is very capable, conscientious and caring. My three horses and one donkey can be a handful but Erik handled them beautifully. He also did a great job of keeping their stalls, paddock and arena clean. I have recommended him to my friends, because they know I’m very particular about the quality of my pet family’s care. Erik provides that level of care!
Kate watched both my dog (Todd) and my sister’s dog (Lenny) at my home over a long holiday weekend. Both being labradoodles, they are energetic and can be a handful. Not only was she able to provide updates and photos each day, she handled them with amazing skill. We came home to a clean house and two very happy pups. I will definitely use her services again, and would highly recommend her to other family and friends!
Kate is simply the best. We trust our Charlie girl with her and know that she cares about Charlie as much as we do. The owners are friendly to us and our dogs. They are more attentive than other dog boarding companies and took very good care of our 8 month puppy who is still learning to be social. The owners updated us with a video of our dogs every day while we were traveling.

Roxanne took great care of our Coonhound, Rosie during multiple overnight and day care stays. She is a welcoming and adoring person and clearly loves the pups she cares for. I felt at ease on a long trip knowing that Rosie was in a caring environment that allowed her to sleep on couches, interact with other dogs in a large, open facility and have attentive caretakers. Roxie sent photos of Rosie and kept us abreast of her activity while we were away. During COVID restrictions, she makes online reservations simple and curbside drop-off/pick-up an ease. I wish there was a facility like this everywhere we’ve lived! I would recommend Roxanne and Fidoggo highly to any friends or family in the Anacortes area.
Roxy is awesome! When we first brought Tug to stay with Roxy, she showed incredible care in integrating Tug with the pack she maintains. Roxy is a "dog whisperer" who can clearly read the temperment and personality of dogs. Like most dog owners, we are unreasonably attached to our dog and leave him in the hands of others with great trepidation. For Tug, I am convinced, a trip to Roxy's is like a stay at summer camp. If you are looking for a place to board your pup for a while, I don't think you can do much better.
I hate leaving my anxious dog Gracie when we go on vacation and am reluctant to leave her at a kennel because it makes her anxiety worse. When I came across FiDoggo in a web search I felt it would be perfect for my pup! It's more of a homestay than a kennel, but you still get the professionalism and assurance that your dog won't be alone. Roxy eased Gracie into the experience with day care so when the day came to board, she wouldn't be so nervous. During vacation Roxy kept in touch with photos and updates. When we came back Gracie looked healthy and happy. It was a success! We'll definitely be using FiDoggo again.
I was lucky enough to stumble upon Roxanne a couple of months ago and she is the dog sitter of choice from here on out. She only has about 4-5 dogs at a time and operates out of her home, which is ideal for my dog who spends most of his afternoon at home and isn't the most social of pets. She has been accommodating and communicative. Couldn't ask for better. Also! test of tests, we saw her at the dog park, and when my dog saw her he ran up, tail wagging to say hello :)
I can’t say enough great things about Roxanne. I take my senior dog to her 5 days a week. She is so patient and attentive to all his sweet old dog needs. She and Larry are such nice people to interact with and the doggie accommodations are very nice. She cares about every dog there and it shows.

Dogs are family. Leaving them in a safe place means everything. I don't have to worry about my dogs when I leave them here. It's not easy to leave them anywhere because I love them. However, the set up here for dogs, is a tightly run safe haven. There are many safety measures in place, which I appreciate. The dogs are housed behind many doors: shut one before opening another, with the "runs" having an indoor heated sleeping area that's accessed by a tightly latched "dog door" that opens at hip level for easier control of dogs NOT simply running out. Its a great place, that has obviously been well thought out. From a protective "mama" (me), I whole-heartedly recommend this kennel.
Wonderful small, family-run kennel with friendly staff, clean premises, large indoor-outdoor runs with heated floors to keep your pup warm and cozy on chilly nights. We boarded our 3 dogs here while we explored the San Juan Islands on bicycles. The dogs had a great time, and so did we! They even have professional groomers on-site, so you can get an exit bath or hair and nail trim all as part of your visit. Definitely recommend!
I moved to the area last February and needed to have my kitty housed. They were AMAZING!!!! They cared for my kitty when I couldn’t and did everything just the way I would have when I couldn’t have her where I was. I showed up to drop my kitty off not knowing what to expect really nervous I mean this is my family (kitty) and a lot of what you hear are horror stories not knowing if I would be comfortable and able to leave her, as soon as I walked in I felt at ease then talking with the front office lady( VICKY) she was AMAZING! She was so sweet to my kitty and my kitty loves her, the owner Chris is AMAZING as well he would go in the evening and would love and play with her! They are amazing caring understanding and easy to talk to! I would call or come in and she always loves to share what’s been going on making sure I am informed all along the way telling me the cute funny things my kitty was doing! I have never had to house one of my animals before so also being new to the area and hearing all the horror stories this was scary but So GLAD I found this place. IF YOU WANT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS HANDS DOWN NO QUESTIONS ASKED! If I had to house another animal this would be the place! Thanks again for all the help and love 💕 you provided to my kitty! If you want a positive experience this is the kennel I WOULD choose!!!! I’ll bring her back to visit 😊
First off I feel completely lied to. The website and signs at the boarder say that we can book two dogs (under 110lbs) in a shared run for 36 a night. This is false and apparently hasn’t been an option since 2016. Instead our dogs who are never separated were forced into a small cubby and into a narrow run surrounded by other dogs, separate from each other. There were no updates that most kennels offer and when we called we got minimal information that everything is fine. Going to pick up our dogs was almost as bad. Our youngest was absolutely terrified to come towards the cubby despite loving people making us wonder just how good things actually were. The kennels smelled horrible and looked filthy. I would never recommend this to someone who has more than one dog or who wants a good quality experience for their dogs.
We took our German Shepard here for the first time last week to be groomed. Vicki was very nice and up front, prices are very reasonable and his nail trim looked great, not too short. I prefer to support local businesses over box store grooming services and I would recommend Vicki and Sunnyhill Kennels, we will definitely be a repeat customer.
Very dissatisfied 😡 we took our 9 year old Maltese to them for the first time to be groomed. Our little dog looked like she was cut with a hack saw. The worst grooming I have ever seen in my life!!!!!! And this little dog is very used to groomers. We thought we would try this place because they were close to home. Margarite( the owner) was rude and was making excuses for how horrible our dog looked. No sympathy from her folks! She said she worked on our dog for 3 hours scissor cutting her. More like she torchered her for 3 hours 🤬
This was a hard one for me. I was not impressed with the standards of the "kennels" considering I had to put my dog in a small wood box with a "bed" that was wood raised 1/2 inch off the ground. There was a hole in the box that led to their runs which were just chain link fencing. The part that really got me was the terrible horror movie alarms that are right by the runs blasting a screeching alarm at the dogs every time someone drives in or out. This is not where you should take your dog if they are spoiled or have anxiety. This place is more for outside dogs or farm dogs. The people were nice, nothing against them. My personal opinion is I would never leave my dogs in those "kennels".
I like the way my dogs are treated and Vicky is great. Very friendly and personable. Reasonable grooming prices too. I had a problem and Vicky and the staff fixed it for me immediately 😅 very pleased. …
Our dogs enjoyed their stay, we were very happy with the bathing service. Vickey made us feel comfortable leaving them in her care.
My dog Mac absolutely LOVES coming here! The staff are always so friendly and give great updates on how he did when I come to pick him up. As a very anxious owner I was worried about bringing him here since he hadn't done daycare before and he’s a pretty big dog, which not everyone loves, but now the whole house looks forward to his daycare days. The photos they post throughout the day are so fun, and by the way he immediately falls asleep in the car on the way home I know he always has a blast! You can tell the people who work here really love dogs.

I love sending my Rolly Crump to day care and boarding here. The staff cares and loves each and every furry friend that visits. They take special care to sort your dog and place them in a yard/group that matches their temperament. The best feeling is pulling up to pick up your pup and seeing your dog have the time of their life. Their prices are just recently went up $10 for boarding, still very very good deal if you check prices around from other boarding. Check out their Facebook to see how happy all the pups are, they take pictures everyday so you can get a glimpse of the adventures your dog is having. My mini Bernedoodle comes home happy and exhausted every time! I would highly recommend them!
My dog(s) come here every weekend to play and they LOVE it. I feel like they are being well taken care of and watched over. The gals in the front office are always very helpful and friendly, and often post many pictures of the dogs during their stay there. They have separate play areas for large/small dogs as well as indoor/outdoor spaces (some covered and shaded, too), and day care playtime is all day! Grooming is also available (currently I think only on weekends by appointment). They keep everything clean all day (special faux grass in the play areas) and are attentive to the dogs' feeding schedules, interactions with one another, and temperaments. We love it, and hopefully my dogs will continue to come here to play with friends, or stay overnight when we go out of town, forever! 😄 [I only posted pics of my dogs since I didn't have other owners' permission, but usually there are always many dogs all playing together and having a blast!]
Used to really enjoy coming here, but they keep raising prices astronomically. Now costs $180 for one night of boarding and daycare for 2 dogs in a shared kennel. Same service less than one year ago was $130. Everything else is fine though.
My dog is very reactive and getting him groomed has been a challenge. He had his first appointment and it went great! Everyone was welcoming and the groomer was amazing! I have had such a hard time finding a place that can handle my dog and get through the grooming whole grooming session! Definitely going to return!
My dogs love the Pampered Pets Resort and so do I! They always come home happy and tired after a ruff day at the resort. The staff is always friendly, professional, and attentive and gets to know your pups on a first name basis. Also, the place is always immaculate, sometimes evens smells like fresh bleach on arrival in the evening (love it!). They do a great job of assessing dogs before caring for them, so I feel my pets are safe and in good hands when I leave them there. 10/10 would recommend for doggy daycare!

I did a lot of research before deciding to go to pampered pets daycare. The facility is by far the best I have ever seen! The employees are extremely caring, as if each dog was their own. Today was Maisy’s first introduction and evaluation. I was so impressed that I decided to leave her there for the next four hours. She came home happy and tired from all the fun play. I am also thankful they don’t have muddy areas for dogs to play in because she was clean. This is a must place to go for all of our furry babies! This picture tells me how good of a time she had today. 🐶🥰
I absolutely love this place and my puppy loves it more! They have a process to go thru when you want daycare and they do an assessment on your puppy to make sure they will be a good fit! They take the time to get to know your dog and I appreciate that! They are always posting to social media so you know they are happy!
