Beth and Matthew have been my first house sitters - and I was their first house sit too. Beth and Matthew have been great. I was a little nervous as this was the first time I've the zeewoi platform and service. Beth contacted me to let me know that one of my dogs had a sore on her chest and sent me a video to let me see and decide what to do. We agreed my dog needed to be seen by a vet and within a few hours my dog had antibiotics. Beth even popped into a shop to buy my dog a jumper to wear as the vet had recommended this to stop her scratching the sore. When I got home Beth had washed all their bedding and the house was clean and tidy. Both Beth and Matthew are a lovely couple and I would definitely recommend them both if you are looking for reliable and trustworthy house and pet sitters.
Erica was great! Easy to communicate with and very self -sufficient when we ended up being out of service for several days. Pingo and the house were clearly in good hands, we came back to a spotless house with a freshly made bed and a happy dog. We'd definitely have Erica again!
I am so grateful to Victoria for taking such wonderful care of my elder cats,, Zoe and Mischief, my home and my garden! She stayed in touch, and even sent photos of Zoe and Mischief, which further reassured me that my kitties and my home were in good hands while I was away. In short, I feel lucky to have connected with Victoria through zeewoi, wouldn't hesitate to call on her again, and recommend her without reservation.
This was my first time using zeewoi. Not only did I have to prepare my home for a guest but prepare myself for leaving my boys with someone I had only met through a zoom call. Right away, I was put at ease as Sharon just gravitated right to my boys. She asked questions about info that I had missed in my welcome pack that made me rest assured that she was on the ball. Throughout my trip, Sharon kept in touch with me about how the boys were getting along... I was so relieved hearing that their usual playful selves was apparent. Given that our flight home was going to be late, she insisted on waiting until we were heading out of the airport before leaving the boys with their last walk until we came home. When we walked through our front door, the boys were chilling out, our home was spotless, and she even washed the bedding. I can recommend Sharon with 100% certainty that your pets will be in great hands. Thanks Sharon for everything.
Jaclyn was a wonderful sitter for our dog Tucker! She was always quick to respond to communications, she was easy-going and excited to sit with Tucker, she shared updates (with pictures) while we were away, and she left our house cleaner than when we left - she even ran the dishwasher, which we forgot to do before we left! She and Tucker bonded immediately, and when we returned home it was clear that he had a great time with Jaclyn. We can't recommend her highly enough!
I can’t say enough good things about Felicia! She was willing to come over ahead of time so we could meet her. Lele took an instant liking to her (and I think it was mutual).😁 Felicia showed up on time, checked in on a regular basis while I was away, and sent photos of Lele, too. I tend to over prepare, and Felicia was accepting of that and helped me feel okay about my preparation and absence. I felt very comfortable leaving, knowing the most important thing, Lele, was well taken care of. This is my first time using zeewoi, so I didn’t really know what to expect. Felicia far exceeded all of my hopes and expectations. I would absolutely love to have Felicia come back again!
I am so glad that my cat, Duque, and I met Sharon! She is a wonderful person, very kind with pets, thorough with house care and communicative. Sharon's cleaning (and brownies!) went above and beyond and my cat did not seem to have missed me much when I got home. I recommend Sharon if she applies for your sit and we hope to welcome her back to our home one day.
Julie and Adrian were ideal pet and house sitters. Julie and Damian are very friendly and made sure to go over details and ask questions when they arrived. We came home to very happy and contented pets. Our dog and cat clearly got lots of love and attention (also clear from the great photos that Julie and Adrian sent us). The house was immaculate when we came home. We could not ask for better, more trusted, house sitters.
Although they are experienced pet sitters this was their first sit with zeewoi and they were wonderful. Jyoti (our cat) was completely at ease and spent plenty of time on their laps. The chickens were well looked after and they managed the broody one efficiently. Excellent communication before and during the house sit. They followed our detailed instructions conscientiously and left the house clean and tidy. They cooked a meal for us on our return and we enjoyed getting to know them. We would welcome them back any time and highly recommend them for future sits.
Lea was so wonderful, we highly recommend her. She was friendly and communicative throughout, sending us daily updates and photos. We returned back to a beautifully cleaned house and a very happy cat, we are so grateful- she was an absolute delight

Kate, and her company Milo & Co have been a delightful addition to Louie's day to day life. Kate has an instant affinity with dogs, and Louie is thrilled to spend time with her and Milo and his other chums. We love the flexibility that Kate employs, so an occasional late running train or heavy traffic isn't the white knuckle ride it has been in the past. With a maximum of 5 dogs at a time, we know that Louie receives plenty of personal attention, and he is returned to us played out and exhausted!
Our mini golden doodle Doris (7 months) has been going to Kate at Milo and Co for one or two days a week for over 6 weeks now. Kate picks her up at 7.30 and she normally comes back to us around 6.00pm. She is so excited to go in the mornings and comes home happily exhausted. She has a great time playing with the other dogs in Kates care and loves her daily walks. I have every confidence in Kate and will happily leave Doris with her when we go away for a weeks holiday. It's lovely to know we have found someone we know will be as kind and as loving to our Doris as we are.
Having switched to Milo and Co for our daycare, we have been so pleased. Kate is friendly, professional, communicative, caring and accommodating. Even better is the fact that our puppy absolutely loves going to stay and obviously gets lots of love while she’s there. We couldn’t recommend Milo and Co more highly.
Kate has been wonderful. If you need any last minute help she will do her absolute best to accommodate you and your pooch. She is a dog whisperer! Definitely use her if you’re in or around Whitstable.
Charli was amazing when she looked after Freddie, our 16 month old Fox Red Lab. It was the first sleepover he had had! He was so happy and Charli was extremely knowledgeable about his breed. Charli sent pictures, videos and updates throughout the day, which was great. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her services. Thanks soooo much Charli for taking such good care of our Freddie
Charli recently looked after our young mini schnauzer Otto for a fortnight. It was clear from all the photos and videos Charli sent us that Otto was having a whale of a time, playing and snuggling up to her other canine house guests. In fact he's never looked as happy as in the first photo she sent us with the first three of his new mates! Dogs clearly love Charli and she obviously loves them, a real softie yet able to ensure they're all kept safe. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Otto with Charli again nor our new puppy, in fact we've already booked a day slot for both of them with her and will soon be booking a longer stay for our holiday next year.
Charli has looked after our chihuahua several times, and he’s always felt at home and very happy. We totally trust her to take the best care of him and highly recommend her services. When we’re away, we get frequent updates, photos and videos. She’s lovely to deal with, and we’ll happily leave our dog with her again next time when we need a dogsitter.
Fantastic home from home for our pup. Charli is very professional, caring and fun and really looks after her charges. Our dog can’t wait to get to her house when we tell her she’s going to stay. That says everything.
We've trusted Charli with our pets for years. She's done house visits to check on our cats, and more recently doggy day care for our puppy while I'm at work. It's such a relief to know he'll be well taken care of, have lots of fun, and come home happy, safe and sound. Charli is friendly and professional and great with animals. She loves them and they love her!
Our Cockapoo Archie has just had a weeks stay with Charli. He was really well looked after and had a great week. Charli took care to cater for Archie’s needs but also gave him the freedom to play off lead. He loved the attention from Charli’s family and the company of other dogs. We had updates from Charli 2-3 times per day with videos and photos of Archie’s day. Would thoroughly recommend and look to book again in the future.
Charli is a fantastic dog sitter. Very accommodating, flexible with our needs and excellent with communication. Our dog, Nellie, has come on leaps and bounds since we've been using Charli and she is so excited everytime we turn up. I also love the regular photos/videos we get of the fun packed day Nellie has been having! Thanks Al and Laura
I can highly recommend Charli for looking after your furbabies. My dog has stayed with Charli and her family whilst I'm at work. She has only been there 5 times so far but I am amazed at how quickly she has settled. Charli is very professional and welcoming and makes sure that the dogs are happy and comfortable. Lexi comes home happy and exhausted! Thank you Charli!
We have been going to Charli and her lovely family since our dog Riley was a new puppy, we absolutely adore her. But I think the best part is how excited Riley is every time we drop her off, she loves socialising with the other dogs, it’s perfect for her to be around kids and she’s always knackered at the end of the day. Essentially we wouldn’t choose anyone else 🥰
Charli was so thoughtful. Rescued us for our anniversary weekend. We didn’t know that our beloved dog didn’t like hanging out in an unfamiliar holiday home. Charli insisted on meeting him for a quick play before we dropped him off (quite right) spoiled him rotten for two hours while we had our anniversary dinner. Forever grateful!
Staff are very friendly and always look after our dog so well
HYDROTHERAPY ONLY. I can not praise Linda and the Team enough. My beautiful lab has arthritis, after the 3rd session the change in his mobility and wellbeing was amazing. From weak back legs that were prone to collapsing, to gentle walks and increase in muscle strength. I really recommend hydro and the benefits which Jasper has had. He is 13, and the guys adjust his needs to suit his level.
Our Roxy stayed for 2 weeks, to be safe while our kitchen was replaced. We picked up a very happy dog; she growled at me and wanted to stay. I have used it many times before and will use it again.
They are amazing with my little girl Lola, but also have helped me so much 🐕😊 …
We have used Pet Lodge several times and have been extremely impressed. The staff are enthusiastic and engaged, and clearly love dogs. Scoofy and Pixel enjoy their stays and come home happy and healthy. 😊 …
Great place for the dogs to go to Hydrotherapy. My dogs come here for fitness and they just love it !!! They have a swimming pool and also a water treadmill so depending of what your dog needs the ladies will tell what is best to use. The staff are amazing and very friendly and my dogs love them. Highly recommended.
Never got back to me after filling out a form. Glad I had another place I contacted. They now have things sorted out. This is the first place to not get back to me. Very unprofessional. I wouldn’t want my dog going here. They are terrible with emails. They aren’t responsive. Very strange. Responding to reply: There’s an email setting where you can say away from emails, you can put a reason and/or to and from dates. It’s a thing that’s being around for a long time. From a business side this should be known. Also, don’t need to be a particular way with me. It isn’t needed. I get how it is on a ship. I’ve being on many. It really isn’t needed how you seem to be on the response. It’s not good business. Also, really no one to access emails when it’s clear I was needing a booking to be set. Not airing days and days for a reply. On you…ok. Not good. Hope you come across the great way in the emails setting or even better…have someone use emails while you can’t! I’m so glad my dog didn’t go here. Also, no need for your 31 year comment. There’s a way to go about business. This wasn’t the way you should go. No matter how long you’ve done your job. They’re flaws. Plus, people are in jobs they’re poor at but are still somehow in it. For various reasons.
I was worried about leaving my boys and totally without cause! I don't think they wanted to come home, they had such a great time and excellent care! The staff kept a note if either didn't eat their food and monitored for stress indicators and there no issues. The kennels were scrupulously clean and the boys allowed to have their own toys and bedding smelling of home. They were completely spoiled with lots of walks, play time and attention. They even posted back toys left behind and phoned me after collection to confirm they had no issues during their stay. I have already recommended Pet Lodge to friends. 5*
It’s Been a Wonderful Experience for Sam our Second Generation, Pedigree & Kennel club, Staffordshire Bull Terrier. When it came to water, He only wanted to drink the stuff. He had no buoyancy, So he Really couldn’t swim, He sank. He didn’t like water. But Thanks to the wonderful Staff and there patience & a life jacket harness. He eventually Started looking forward to going swimming. Unfortunately age as taken hold of him. He doesn’t walk much these days, He Just plods along at his own pace. We saw the happiness in his face, He looked forward to going swimming & i know he misses it. Yes he’s still plodding along at his own pace. Thank you all at Pet Lodge.
Have booked my dog in after getting a personal recommendation from a former employee. All looks good, will know more after he has had his stay.
Amanda looked after our guinea pigs so wonderfully. She really cares about all her boarders. We heartily recommend AAA Boarding - 5 star accommodation for your furry little ones.
Very good service and made our rabbits feel right at home! Will be using again in January for our next ski holiday 😁 …
Amanda really looks after our bunnies and we wouldn't go anywhere else. 5 star rabbit boarding ☺️
Excellent service. The kindest friendliest people. Winston loves them so much. It's a reassuring and a pleasure to have them take Winston. He has such a good and happy time. Very lucky to have found them thank u guys u r amazing xx
Absolutely amazing service I couldn’t recommend them enough. They are both so lovely and Otis has the BEST time with them and all his friends. He is beyond excited when they turn up and even when he hears their voices on videos, he goes crazy with excitement! If you need somewhere for your doggy to go out, Who’s Walking Who are the people to go to! Thank you, from the Wellards!
I cannot fault the care and attention that Jess and the team give Mabel when they look after her . Mabel is a very nervous dog especially around other dogs . This team do one on one unlike some other dog walking services. The quality of staff is high , trained in animal behavior and first aid. They have your pets best interests at heart and respond in an individual way with respect for your pets quirks . They are busy so best to book in advance but that just shows the quality of their services. Highly recommended.
Jess and the team at Hoof and Paws walk my two rescue GSD’S regularly. They are professional and very understanding of the dogs needs and accommodate for their peculiarities/ challenges. Highly recommend the team- thank you 😊 …
Jess and the team are 5 star pet carers. Their level of expertise, care and comitment are next level. From spotting a UTI on one of our cats whilst we were on hols to helping care for one of our cats after surgery, the service is exemplary and we would 100% recommend!
Really happy with the recall training I did with Jess today for my new dog. He picked it up very quickly and I can only say it’s because of Jess’s expertise! I’m really excited to practice what I’ve learned.
Fully booked 2+ months ahead. Sure they're fine but not for me in this instance. Your reply. I think you meant "we were" or "we are" not "we was". A good idea would be to put your available dates on your webpage, so that people know when you have space. Also to make it clear that you do not 'sit' in people's homes. Thanks
I have been using the pet sitting service for several years and they are always very clean, efficient, highly qualified, and very knowledgeable about all animals. They also try to be flexible as much as possible.
We go away quite a lot on short breaks and knowing my beloved fluffy boy Beau is loved, cuddled and cared for is very important to me as it gives me peace of mind. Holly and Kate visit Beau and have immediately got a bond with him, they take time to talk to him, cuddle him and sit with him and not just feed him. Beau is a rescue cat from Egypt, is nervous and doesn't trust easily but almost straight away the trust was there. I will be moving all my cat care over to We love Pets Canterbury from now on. Thank you Kate and Holly xxx
I initially got in touch with We Love Pets when looking for a company to look after my two pugs Hudson and Nina on my wedding day. Holly came over to meet them and go into detail on their personalities and needs to match them with the right walker. WLP are very accommodating and were happy to tailor a care package to what we needed for our day. They went out on a weekly walk with Lauren so the pugs could get to know her and on the day she was amazing. She picked them up from our home and brought them to the wedding, ensuring that they were well looked after and was great with guests coming to say hello to the dogs. Nina is quite nervous so if Lauren felt anything was too much she took them to a quieter shady area. She was on hand when we wanted them in photos, keeping them entertained with treats and making sure they had plenty of water. We only wanted them there until the meal started so it wasn't too much, so Lauren took them home again where her and Holly stayed with them for the evening and gave them lots of cuddles, fed them their dinner and took them for another walk. We have continued to use We Love Pets for a weekly walk and they have recently been going out with walker Brynn who is lovely and they have even made a new frenchie friend! Hudson and Nina love their walks and it's been a peace of mind knowing they are going out and being well looked after when we're not home and I love receiving the photo updates! Thank you Holly and team!!
Holly & Kate at We Love Pets Canterbury are brilliant. They have our dog once a week and she’s a lively cocker spaniel - they walk her, give her lots of love and she loves spending time with them. Holly and Kate, stick to her routine and we feel really happy knowing our dog is in safe hands. 100% recommend.
We Love Pets (Canterbury) provide a friendly and reliable service. Videos of my cat, taken at each home visit, provide reassurance. Recommended.
A safe pair of hands! Holly was extremely thorough in her prep for having our dog for a few hours. She also kept me updated through the evening with a couple of videos so that I could see he was relaxed and fine. Thoroughly recommend!
Recommended for cats too! We were nervous about leaving our shy rescue cats for a week, but knew they would be stressed going to a cattery. We Love Pets Canterbury turned out to be the perfect solution. We had 2 pre-holiday visits from Kate & Jess to meet the cats, find out their likes, personalities and needs. The visits included play & fuss time as well as basic care, and they also moved curtains, turned lights on & off and put the bins out for us, so the house didn't look empty. The cats were very happy when we got back. We received updates & photos from the visits and it probably cost less than putting 3 cats in cattery.
We couldn’t recommend ‘We Love Pets, Canterbury’ highly enough. The service is friendly, professional, and tailored to your individual needs and crucially, that of your pet’s. Kate pays such attention to detail, when it comes to your pet’s care and routines. She really listens and is obviously an ‘animal person’, through and through. Our ‘furry gang’ really do love her, the dogs, in particular, are always SO happy to see her. Thanks We Love Pets!
Holly, Kate & team did a fantastic job walking our labrador every day while we were on holidays. They provided a very reliable, professional and friendly service and we immediately felt like our dog would be in good hands! We particularly liked the fact it's small group walking only. They also took the time for an initial meeting to find out more about our dog and to really make sure he has a good experience during his walks and gets matched up with other suitable walking companions. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, our dog was very excited and LOVED to meet them for his walks everyday, so we know he had a great time too. We would absolutely recommend Holly & Kate and we will use them again when we are going on our next big holiday!
We are so grateful to Holly for looking after our dog Poppy whilst we went to a family wedding for 2 nights. We were a bit nervous about leaving her as it was the first time we had done so. We needn’t have worried as Holly was absolutely wonderful at making Poppy feel welcome and putting our minds at rest that she would be very well looked after. Whilst we were away, she sent us updates, photos and videos showing Poppy happily playing which was lovely. Thank you so much Holly and family. I’m sure Poppy will be back to see you all again very soon.
Absolutely fantastic service! My dog can be nervous but Holly was extremely patient and kind with her. She followed all instructions and even added extra drop-ins at late notice to help my dog feel comfortable, which was massively appreciated. I felt relaxed and reassured knowing my dog was in safe hands. Would definitely recommend and I will definitely book again in future. Cannot fault! Amazing service. Thank you so much.
I have used Handy Pet Services on a few occasions over the years when going on holiday to look after my cat. My cat was a fussy eater and things had to be prepared in a particular way which Sarah was more than happy to do. It was reassuring to know that my cat was in such a safe pair of hands, being well cared for. Sarah went above and beyond and even brought some extra cat toys over on her visits for playtime with my fur baby and was also kind enough to send me some photos which was very much appreciated. My cat looked happy, healthy and content on my return and I found their prices to be very reasonable for the fantastic service and care provided. Sarah even watered my houseplants which I hadn’t even thought of mentioning. I can highly recommend Sarah and Handy Pets Services and will definitely be using them in the future. Derrick
My dog, Flora stays with Sarah and her family at Handy Pets. They are delightful and Flora is beautifully cared for and loves staying there! I receive regular photos of the lovely walks they go on. Sarah is kind and gentle and the family love the work they do.
Sarah and Dean have looked after my lurcherfor almost 10 years. They have been wonderful carers. I recommend them to friends often. I feel very happy about leaving Rocket with them- he loves being with them and the family.
My experience with Handy Pet Services is always great. Have been using them for nearly 10 years now. Sarah is reliable, kind & friendly. My dog loves it there! 100% recommend
Sarah has a been looking after my dog for 8 years since he was a puppy. I couldn’t recommend her enough, a true dog lover and very reliable and friendly service.
Lovely family environment for dogs. We were sent lots of photos so we could see how he was getting on. I don't think he wanted to come home! Highly recommended.
Sarah is the absolutely amazing! Our Hungarian Vizsla and our mini Dachshund absolutely adore her and her family. We just come back from a week in Greece and Sarah was fantastic at sending updates and videos and checking in with me daily. The dogs absolutely loved their little holiday and didn’t want to come home. I can’t imagine the dogs being with anyone else when we go away, I have complete trust they are looked after, with the highest standards and all our instructions are taken on board fully. We love you Sarah - love Honey and Monty!
Sarah at Handy Pet Services is absolutely amazing with my dog's, I cannot recommend her enough. Sarah is patient, calm, reliable, knowledgeable & experienced with dog's that have behaviour problems. I have a rescue Boxer & he is very nervous of meeting new people inside & outside the house, Sarah came to our home & spent time with him so they could get to know each other prior to her visit with him alone. Now they are best of friends! I have used Sarah for a long time now, she visits regularly & I wouldn't leave my dog's with anyone else! Highly recommend! 👍
Since June 2014, Handy Pet Services has taken exceptional care of my dog several days a week. I can honestly say that they have always gone above and beyond when taking care of my dog. On walks, Handy Pet Services always take the dogs on lots of different places and somehow always manage to tire our little girl out. They also take lots of pictures and always keeps me updated of key funny moments so I never miss out. No matter what the weather, Handy Pet Services have never let me or my dog down. Dog sitting, walking and overnight stays have always gone without a hitch over the years. Most importantly, my dog absolutely loves seeing the owner and her her family, she goes mad with excitement every time we pull up to her house, and pulls me to the door. Hand Pet Services is more of a second home for my dog during they day, which always gives me piece of mind when leaving her with people I know will take excellent care of her. Handy Pet Services also go the extra mile in really trying to understand the different personalities, quirks, likes and dislikes of the dogs they provide pet services to. As an animal psychologist and canine behaviourist, I can say with absolute certainty that Handy Pet Services have always taken impeccable care of my dog and all the dogs I have seen them care for over the years. They are professional, reliable and also very accommodating with changes in schedule. Overall, I would highly recommend Handy Pet Services to anyone who wants to ensure that their pets will always be well looked after and cared for!
I've been bringing my dog to Sarah for a number of years and I can honestly say there is not a better, more safer place for your dog to stay. Sarah gets to know your dog inside and out and makes them feel very special. My dog gets very exited and knows when she's going to Sarah's. I could not recommend Handy Pet services enough!
what a difference in my cat from the last cattery he stayed in. Groot (my cat) actually came out of his cat carrier while staying at rainbows end and more noticeably he happily had a cuddle with his carer. if your cat rules your world then this is the place for the peace of mind needed to complete tasks/holiday,etc without worry. The owners of the cattery are hands on, and most definitely animal lovers, the accommodation is beautifully clean, no hint of cat wee, which is a far cry from the last cattery I used, your cats specific food is included with the price, also temperature controlled, and a daily activity chart is recorded of all your baby's food and toilet routines, which I have never seen in any other places. Groot (my baby) & I love this place and will definitely be booking with rainbows end in the future!
Very happy to leave my 2 cats here regularly. Safe, cozy, clean, secure. My cats are perfectly happy here. Thank you
Our rescue cat Tiger Lilly is so nervous I was worried about leaving her, but I needn't have been. The pens at Rainbows End are spacious and clean and there's a lovely, calm atmosphere in the cattery. Tiger was relaxed when I dropped her off and calm and happy when I picked her up. I was amazed how well she settled. She was obviously in good hands.
Very impressed with Colin and his team who looked after my cat (who really doesn't like being away from home) during the heatwave this year. When we collected her she was well and importantly had been eating, which is always a concern when she's away. Colin fitted her in at the last minute and obviously goes above and beyond to ensure your cat is comfortable. Best cattery in Herne Bay, thank you!
Herbie & Hector stayed here early in Sept for a long weekend. They were welcomed again by Kathy and Colin end of December for a week this time. I had been feeling guilty and worried that I was going to be leaving them for this long. However, they seemed content from the moment I dropped them off. What’s more, they were so content they didn’t seem in a hurry to come home! They just peered out at me as if to say ‘Oh you’re back then’! The owners clearly love and respect animals and are very knowledgeable when it comes to conditions such as diabetes in cats. The set up is great too - my cats enjoyed the views of everything going on outside. I have nothing but praise for this wonderful boarding facility.
Very welcoming owners. Excellent housing facilities, individually heated, safe. Well established Cattery professional and caring. Insurance available. Conveniently located near the town. Highly recommended
This is second time I've used Rainbows End, the first was 8 years ago with my last cat who had just lost her brother to kidney disease, she was looked after so well it was a no brainer to choose them again last week for my 3 cats to board whilst we moved house. The move came about sooner than expected yet Kathy & Colin went out of there way to accommodate my fur babies, & even kept them for longer after we encountered some issues at new house. At a very stressful time it was a comfort to know they were being looked after & loved as if they were their own! Also the fact that they also board small animals means when I finally get a holiday my bunny can go with them! 5 stars definitely!
Only the second time my fur balls have ever been put in a cattery, but both came home safe and well, i will be more than happy to use Rainbows End again the owners are easy to work with and very understanding with nervous owners, thank you all.
We have used rainbows end for 3 years and have not looked elsewhere. This wasn't the nearest Cattery to us but suited us as the environment is lovely. Colin and Cathy are friendly and make you feel at ease. When we looked around the choices of catteries rainbowsend was our first and only choice. You'll know your fury friend(s) will be looked after here.
My cat loves it here. The owners really do love cats and give them lots of love and attention. Go for a visit, you won't be disappointed.
Our cockapoo loves it here and has been going since she was a puppy. She goes at least once a week and waits excitedly by the door for the driver to come and collect her. When she comes back she's exhausted, but so happy. The team are great and super flexible, and it's a great opportunity for dogs to socialise and explore the outdoors together. I don't know what we'd do without K9 – they're fantastic!
Roman & Byron have been attending daycare for 6 years now. Roman was a nervous wreck when I rescued him from an abusive owner in Cyprus and he was terrified of men. He developed separation anxiety and wouldn’t let me out of his sight. With Lauren’s help and guidance I signed him up for daycare to build his confidence. Byron, a rescued Cyprus street dog lacked social skills and manners around other dogs. K9 have brought out the best in both my ‘special needs’ dogs, building confidence and social skills in a stimulating and fun environment. When I tell them it’s doggy daycare day they start howling at the window convinced it makes the van turn up sooner. When the van arrives they nearly break the door down to get out and then rush off without so much as a backward glance never mind a kiss goodbye. The whole staff and management are professional, kind and patient and clearly adore the dogs in their care- and the dogs love them to bits. My dogs are my life and I wouldn’t trust their care to anyone else. If your dog passes the careful assessment process and you’re lucky enough to be offered a place, snap it up- you won’t regret it. My now happy, confident sweet dogs are proof of K9’s commitment and skill.
I’ve been sending my dog to K9 Kindergarten for 2 years and she absolutely loves it. They pick her up in the morning and drop her off in the evening which is perfect. She goes bonkers with excitement when the door bell goes in the morning as she knows it’s someone coming to pick her up. She gets home exhausted after a day playing with her friends. She’s very sociable so daycare is a great way of allowing her to interact with other dogs. I have recommended this daycare to many people and will continue to do so!
This was a really sad experience for us. Our puppy is a rescue, we made crystal Clear that he was nervous, new to ‘normal life’ and is very anxious of people, new places and noises etc and this was hopefully going to work out being around other pups. The taster day was us walking into a sectioned off area in a wooded part, around 15 of us all with a wide range of dogs and ages. After 5 minutes we then had to let our dogs off one by one. The dogs went mental, knocked me flying, jumping everywhere, some angry, some pups chaotic, and one particular one bit my dog on his back. I was extremely overwhelmed and so was my dog. We were told they’ll be fine and to leave for 2 ish hours. I presumed, as professionals they knew best. We returned to the owner telling me our dog was aggressive and trying to escape and he could not join (understandably). He then went on to explain the my dog was so nervous and couldn’t find a way out so he hid, he tried to get a lead on him by crawling down into his hiding place and my dog bit him. He said was aggressive to other dogs also. I was heartbroken. After mulling over this information I came to realise how badly this was set up and actually, they set him up to fail. I did not receive one phone call asking to collect my dog early due to his distress or that he was difficult to handle. He was probably aggressive (which he has NEVER shown signs of before) as one particular bully dog bit him! And he was bit as he was invading his safe space after he was petrified and trying to hide. This is no place for a nervous dog, the staff did not seem trained to me and they were very young and the nobody at any pint thought to contact me. Please be careful if you have a nervous dog. He has never been left since and he has regressed so much with people and dogs after this experience. I am sure I will get a response to this review to make it seem as though we were wrong somehow but absolutely visit this day care first and be aware if your dog is nervous!
My Working cocker spaniel Bear has been at day care now for nearly a month, from my first enquiry till now the service has been fantastic. I have seen such a difference in Bear in such a short period of time, to begin with Bear was very nervous to go in the van and had to be lifted by the staff member collecting him, now he waits at the window and pulls all the way to the van. The email support is also fantastic, Bear is part of our family so I like to touch base from time to time to see how he’s doing, they are always happy to email back and give me an update. One of the best decisions I have made and I’m sure if Bear could talk he would be telling us how much he loves it too! Thanks guys!
Had 1 on 1s with K9 as one of my two dogs cannot stand dogs. Whilst the end product is a slow process there was immediate improvement at the time and whilst walking with said dog and he continues to improve thanks to the training he received. Intend to continue with the 1 to 1s and would have no issues recommending Lauren and Co!
The manager only cares about profit. Sometimes 3 dogs being put in one cage to transport to and from the centre. Aggressive dogs being put together with other aggressive dogs, even though it's known that it will cause problems. Your dogs are not walked, they are dumped in a pen all-day, sometimes if your dog is aggressive they a kept segregated in a tiny cage the whole day. Your dog would be better off at home. This review is left as a warning as you never really knows what happens unless you are there to SEE it for yourself.
Wow! From our first enquiry to our puppy being collected from our city-centre home for her first doggy daycare visit, all was smoothly dealt with. Her afternoon see-how-she manages was obviously a hit with her - home and snoozed with ease! All questions answered smoothly and everyone we encountered obviously loves dogs and how they work together. Reassuring.
Various K9 Kindergarten drivers have driven along the single track lane outside my house for the past 3 years or so. Despite asking them on numerous occasions to drive slowly due to the presence of cats, dogs, walkers and birds on the lane (two of my cats have been killed by vehicles) and in spite of very clear road signs communicating a 10 mph speed limit, they continue to drive at speeds of 30mph and above (much higher this morning - 01/09/20) both before they collect my neighbour's dog and once it is in the back. Whatever the time pressures they might face, they are supposed to be people who care about animals so it is hard to understand why they cannot or will not drive considerately. Happy to post a video of them if I need to leave another review.
This review is deliberately vague so no-one gets in trouble. You must have a tour and ask lots of questions before leaving your dog anywhere near this place! I popped in to see about enrolling my dog and maybe having a tour of the facilities. When I eventually found someone I was told that the manager was away. I asked if it would be possible to arrange a revisit for a tour and was told they don't normally do tours but as the manager was away they could show me round quickly there and then. To be honest I felt there were far to many dogs on site so I asked the employee some questions about numbers and staffing. They told me that they regularly have between 40 and 60 dogs and normally 4 - 6 staff! None of the current staff have any sort of qualification for the job and most of the workers are volunteering on the promise of getting a paid job in the future! I was horrified and have obviously not been back. Please, please, please tour this place first. Our dogs are part of our family and this place seems like it's run purely for profit and not for the care and well-being of our beloved pooches.
