Sally invited me to sit for her sweet dog Maud after I received a last minute cancellation in the city. She and her husband warmly welcomed me into their home with a delicious meal and interesting conversation. The setting of their home was in the spectacular English countryside where Maud and I enjoyed long, lovely walks. They were helpful in guiding me to the best walks in the area. They and their home provided everything I needed for my stay there. Maud and I had a wonderful time together as we explored the area and collected flowers to decorate her collar. Maud has the sweetest nature, enjoys being near you, and loves to play, especially with her swing after our walks. She was a happy pup and I was a happy sitter! I feel blessed to have met them and spend time with their Maud, one of the friendliest whippets I have ever met!
I Had a great time looking after Sandy he really was the best pup ever, I was there while it snowed and he was a champ about going for walks. He was well trained fun to be around and easy to give a bath. He just loves playing fetch so much so that's what we did most of the time. The communication was great from the get go and they have a thorough written guide which was handy. The house is in a beautiful peaceful location and was very safe and well appointed with everything you could need.. I would do this sit again in a heartbeat. I am a little late on my review but I still think about Sandy he was such a good pup I highly recommend this sit if you get the chance to be selected.
We had such a great time at Andy and Linda's home with Sophie. She is a sweetheart, very smart and obedient. We loved our walks with her and her company everywhere we were in the house. She is very easy to take care of and we already miss her. Andy and Linda's home is beautiful, clean and located in a beautiful 55+ gated community in Ponte Vedra. There are shops, supermarket and restaurants a short golf cart ride from their home. The region is beautiful with plenty of activities for all tastes. Thank you Andy and Linda, we loved our time there and would love to go back to take care of Sophie again. We highly recommend this sit!
Jacquie and Richard were such excellent people to meet, we had a fantastic time house-sitting for them on Bowen Island and looking after their dog Buddy. Their home is on a stunning part of the island, close enough to walk to Snug Cove with a quiet beach 100m away where we enjoyed a cold plunge each morning. Their home is very large, modern and with an incredible view over the water. We fell in love with Buddy immediately. He is a young dog but very well trained and we loved going for long walks and runs with him as well as cuddling on the couch while reading. He was a joy to care for. Would recommend this house sit to all, and would come back in a heartbeat - Bowen is such a special place!
