What a wonderful pet sit! Leigh and Stewart made us feel most welcome; almost like old friends catching up after a long absence. It was exciting meeting Dijon, Darwin and Nussy and they quickly accepted us as their temporary parents. They have a set routine each day, which made it very easy to look after them; even for novices like us who had never looked after alpacas previously. They were friendly and hand-feeding them morning and evening was very special. Leigh and Stewart’s lovely home is located in idyllic surroundings and we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet, with only the birds breaking the silence. We would absolutely endorse this pet-sit as a very special experience.
This was our first sit for Alicia and Rohan and we had an absolutely amazing time. They were both very easy to talk too and showed us all around the house and what we needed to know. Barney is a beautiful dog who is very gentle and loving. He is well behaved and a delight to take care of and love. The house is in an ideal position in Brisbane and very easy to get around too. We did have a car but you would be fine if you did not have a car. We walked into Brisbane a few times and caught the ferry in on a number of occasions as well. The terminal is only 15 minutes walk. Anyone who is lucky enough to sit for Alicia and Rohan will have a wonderful time and hopefully one day we will get the opportunity to take care of Barney again.
Sophie & Tito were an absolute joy! They were so entertaining and Sophie was Tito's elder and quite the boss lady! They both went to their crates when it was bedtime and never made a peep until morning. Greg and Karen were wonderful and so easy to communicate with if we had questions. Their beautiful home is so peaceful and relaxing. We would love to sit for them again so please keep us in mind for any future travels!!
Tyler is a thoughtful host and Calvin is a HAM!Tyler’s home is beautiful, comfortable, safe, and clean and in a beautiful area of LA. There are restaurants and grocery stores to walk to that are all within a mile. It’s also just a block away from a bus stop if you’re interested in taking public transportation. Calvin was relatively easy to take care of and made my time in LA even more enjoyable.
Which was harder, seeing my new Friends, Julee and Bianca, leaving us for their getaway? Or me leaving the beautiful, Peaceful home and my loving cats when it was time to depart?? My 15 days house sitting for Julee was very comfortable and great!! First, spending time with the very friendly Julee and her daughter, Bianca, was a wonderful way to start the sit. Our meals together, grocery shopping, meet our cats and just get to know each other and our beautiful home was awesome. They made me feel welcome from the moment we met at the bus station for pickup. Bianca had put together a very nice Welcome guide and thoroughly went over everything with me. The cats, Louie and Lola, oh my how quickly we attached to each other and our heart’s exchanged. They were so easy to take care of. I have to say, they both were great, but Louie and I had a special bond. It was so hard leaving him. I enjoyed the walk in the area and the pool. Having easy access to the bus or tram was also a plus. I didn’t do a lot, but I did and saw what I wanted to do. We had great communication before, during and after my Sit. I would refer this house sit but not on the days that I would be able to do it. 😄 Thanks Julee for allowing me together make memories with you All. And I dare not forget, meeting your nice parents. We had such a lovely time sitting for Tim & Sarah and their lovely boys. They left us with all the information we could possibly need so felt very comfortable and well equipped staying in their home. It was a beautiful place with gorgeous views and walks to keep us occupied. Winnie & Pickle were on their very best behaviour and such a joy to look after. We got lots of cuddles during our stay :) We can't recommend this sit highly enough. Thanks Tim & Sarah!
