Terri and George are as good as housesitters get. This is the fourth (fifth?) time that they have housesit for us and we would have them as often as they want to come! They are reliable and communicative before, during, and after, the housesit. They take care of all responsibilities with accuracy and care. Our pets are just as happy when we return as when we leave. Furthermore, in this sit we had some house painters working on the exterior of the house at odd times. This was truly not fair on our part (and not fully anticipated) but they managed to roll with the inconveniences. For that I am double appreciative!
ROBIN IS AWESOME. We have a lot of anxiety when it comes to leaving our cats, and I can tell you that Robin put that anxiety to rest. We knew immediately our cats were in good hands, as were our plants and our house. She's a cat whisperer, our house was cleaner than it was when we left, my plants are happy and healthy, and Robin was absolutely communicative and helpful in many ways while we were gone. She came prepared with astute questions and a notebook to write things down in, and she just took care of business. We can only hope she's available the next time we need a sitter!!
Looking after Juno for Maeve and Ronan whilst they were in their home in France really was lovely. Juno at age 17 is just a delight. She sincerely guards you. She has her own daily routines and can still jump high for a treat after a short walk. I found the location great for going into Dun Laoghaire public transport-wise. Dublin is a good hour on public transport. A car would be useful if you wanted to explore as well as give Juno the time she’s used There are two supermarkets within easy walking distance.
Fatso and Little Penny are vert very nice kitty’s really friendly. They are really differents and so cute. Penny like very much play, hugs and follow me most of time. Fatso is more quiet and love very much hugs.These kitty’s are really easy living It it was really a great time in Peter & Elke house. The house is very confortable, have a very beautiful garden and the pool witch is wonderfull. Peter & Elke are very very nice and interesting people and we had a wonderful time together. I really gone miss Fatso and Little Penny and hope come back as soon as I can.
We absolutely loved pet sitting for Larissa! The home was cute, clean, and in a great location with grocery and public transport just blocks away. There is a huge park walking distance from the house that was very nice too. And now, Joni Mitchell was the absolute star of the show! She is sweet and beautiful and very easy to care for. We miss her already! We would recommend this stay to any sitter in the area!
Liam and his beautiful family were so welcoming and kind. We adored our time there and was sad to leave Sadie and Arlow. We loved them so much. Would definitely come back again ❤🙏
Amberleigh was such an amazing host!! She is very kind and accommodating. Amberleigh had everything we needed for our stay and her home is very comfy and close to nature with beautiful lakes! (We brought our bikes and biked to Idle Isle (little Muskego lake) almost every day which was a nice little vacation for us too. They have a room office for remote work as well. Which my husband used. Her pups Amberdeen (Bubs)💗and Barcelona (Lona)💗are the sweetest!!! We have two kids 4 and 7 and they were wonderful with them!! We had such a great time and enjoyed hanging out with them so much! They are both so smart, full of love and are just wonderful pups!!💗💗💗 We enjoyed very much hanging outside with them and going for walks. We would love to care for them again! And will definitely miss them!! They are one of a kind! ❤️
The view over Lake Rotoiti with steam coming from hot springs among the trees and swans and ducks paddling on the lake is a balm for a city soul. Any photos of mine will not do justice to the tranquility. Walking the dogs is a pleasure and gives an extra purpose to a walk. Even the 3 month-old puppy is well-behaved and comes when called. He looks to the older hunting dog and follows his example. They are gentle, well-behaved and like people. Driving in any direction is a delightful trip in the countryside. Even the @30 min. trip in to Rotorua is a pleasure. We stayed in both the house and the Bach. The dogs frequent the main house and are good company. Mike is devoted to his dogs and looks after them very well. The carpet and furniture show the dogs spend a lot of time in the house. The nearby Okere Falls and Hells Gate mud baths and thermal park are well worth a visit. For $85 I had a mud bath and an endless soak in sulphur hot springs. Mike has an outside hot bath but we did not light its fire. We lit the fire in the lounge room at night given Rotorua nights are quite chilly. Mike provided plenty of wood. Two thumbs up for Mike, his friendly neighbour, the dogs, and the view.
