My stay with Maggie was thoroughly enjoyable. She has a very sweet disposition and will politely let you know what she wants. Nancy and Phil are wonderful. They briefed me with all the information I needed and more to ensure a successful stay. Their home is in a very tranquil setting with plenty of options nearby for walks with Maggie.
We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Geoff and Janes’ stunning house! They are incredibly nice and generous people and we were lucky to have a few days with them both before and after the official house sit. They made us feel very welcome and at home from the first moment, from picking us up from the airport, letting the kids have a blast in their gorgeous playroom to interesting dinner conversations and walks with the dogs showing us the best places for walks for when they were away. Both us and the kids have had such a good time with Macy, Harry and Marrow the cat. They are the cuddliest sweetest dogs inside and they love going for long walks and running around outside. Marrow also warmed up to us and he happily played with the kids and gave us lots and lots of cuddles. Our kids have been talking about the animals every day since leaving, missing them a lot and the video we of them dancing in the kitchen with the dogs is on repeat every single day :D We would definitely love to come back for another house sit if and when an opportunity would arise and we are just amazed at how lucky we have been with this housesit! Both the stunning house and lets not even start with the garden! But also just the fact that we have made friends with some incredible people and their pets, I would wholeheartedly recommend a housesit at Geoff and Janes’s house and meanwhile we are counting down the days until we can come back and cuddle the dogs again! :)
Peter and Marine were very welcoming , as too were Jeff and Uber. Peter had completed the welcome pack and left us lots of information on local markets, recommendations on places to visit which was fantastic . Their home is lovely , the garden is perfect for the dogs running around and for us to sit in and enjoy , very peaceful most of the time. The dogs are playful and loved thier daily walk around the neighbouring woods . They chased deer and anything else that appeared to move in the forest . Jeff would always check to see if we were following the right path and came back for a clap . Tom the cat warmed to us after a few days and came for cuddles by day 5, he does his own thing and likes to sleep a lot . Luckily the weather was fantastic by the end of the sit, so we sat outside most of the time , thank you for letting us stay .
I couldn't have wished for a better first TrustedHousesitters sit! First off, Rebekah was such a great host. We connected immediately, from the first video call interview. Rebekah did everything possible to make sure that I felt welcome and comfortable in her home and with Nemo Nemo. She was even so kind to invite me to a weekend camping with her and some of her wonderful friends after the sit. I feel like I not only left with a great experience in Nice, but also with a new lifelong friend. 🤗 Now to tell you about sweet, cuddly Nemo Nemo😻... Rebekah had let me know right away that Nemo Nemo can be a bit nervous around new people in the beginning and not to have hurt feelings if she hides away in her little box under the bed while I was there. Lucky for me, Nemo Nemo warmed up to me very quickly (after a few treats) and became such a great daily companion. 😻 She definitely wants to be the one making the moves but if you let her just come to you, she'll be all over you when she's ready. She loved cuddling in my lap and love loves belly scratches. Nemo Nemo was very easy to take care of. She has an automatic feeder, likes to poop outside, and comes and goes as she pleases. I loved this experience so much and would love to cat-sit for Nemo Nemo again in the future and definitely plan to pop in to Nice again just to see Rebekah. 🤗🤗🤗
We had a fabulous time at Sue's lovely home. The animals were a pleasure to look after , all in a very good routine and well behaved. Winston is a real gem, the hens a delight laying wonderful eggs. Toby and Bobbie both super ponies. Hope to return again to this wonderful part of Sussex..thanks Sue.
Taqiy and Stephine were lovely people to housesit for. Nia was very well behaved, loved her cuddles and was easy to walk. Their home is surrounded by beautiful parks and walking trails and is located a short distance from the massive Fountain Gate Westfield shopping centre, which provided everything you could possible need or want. I had a very relaxing time minding Nia and would be happy to come back again. Thank you for everything.
