This was Sheron and Murilo's second visit this year and I was delighted they were able to sit for us. I had to go away at very short notice and, rather than advertise the sit at such short notice, I invited Sheron and Murilo based on my past experience. They are clean, tidy, extremely considerate and, most importantly of all, Monty loves them! I was quite shocked to read the review - which frankly reads more like a rant - left by Gisela. I am quite sure that Sheron and Murelo would not have left without an agreement that someone else would look after the pet. That just isn't what they're like! When I returned, both from this trip and my trip earlier in the year, the house had been left spotlessly clean, they had looked after the garden too, keeping my tomatoes and chillies alive (which I am still enjoying). I just can't understand why someone would leave them such a bad review. I feel quite angry for them, so goodness knows what they feel! I can only speak from experience and this is mine - Sheron and Murilo are perfect house sitters. They are clean, tidy, totally reliable and very, very good with Monty. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them as house sitters. I would gladly have them again (and may do yet, if I get the chance). Don't let one bad review put you off. They are a lovely couple and you will see from all their other reviews, which are all 5 star, that they are great house sitters and totally reliable!
Peter and Jean were FANTASTIC house sitters and WONDERFUL people! We had the pleasure of spending some time with them before and after the sit, and I must say, we were quite sad when they had to return to the UK. They are extremely responsible and kind, great communicators, and went above and beyond caring for our pets and property. Our gardens and plants required daily watering, which took over an hour every day . . . no small feat in 100+ degree temperatures. The house was immaculate when we got back, the plants were thriving and it was obvious that Jake, Sophie and Vittles were well taken care of. If you are considering Peter and Jean for a sit, look no further. You have found the very best! We sincerely hope that they will want to come back to Austin and sit for us in the future.
