I absolutely loved my week with Lucy in Totnes! Carole and Tony were brilliant at keeping in touch and updating me on their travel plans before my sit, and Tony very kindly collected me from Newton Abbot when I arrived as I couldn't get to Totnes due to flooding. The house is warm and cosy with beautiful views, and having a fire to light in the evenings was great. The bed was so comfy too! It's a short walk into Totnes which is a fascinating and lively town - I enjoyed the atmosphere at the market on Saturday. Lucy is the sweetest most affectionate girl, we had lots of cuddles on the sofa and she's great company, she always came back to me on walks and it was a joy to spend time with her and watch her running around the fields. Thank you both and I'd love to sit for you and spend time with Lucy again!
A pleasure to sit for: beautiful cats, a lovely couple and a warm and welcoming home. We were given everything that we needed from the started. We had a tour of the house and surroundings, were given a really clear guide to follow...and a had a really good chat - along with a lovely cup of tea and biscuits. Would definitely sit for them again
I had a good time sitting the two bunnies. They are funny to watch and after a couple of days they also come to check you out. Otherwise they are very quiet, you basically hear them chweing all the time. They like to eat- lots! The flat is a few meters to constance lake so perfect for some walks or bike tours. The place is also very comfortable and cozy and good equipped with all you need for cooking and relaxing. There is a bakery next door which is also very handy.
Lily is a great host with good communication. The house is spacious and clean, and there are even flowers for us! The location is great, minutes to downtown or ocean beach. Maisie and Biko are the most affectionate cats we’ve ever encountered. If you’re into it, after a couple of days, they’ll sleep with you on the bed and while you watch TV on the couch. They’re young and enjoy cuddling, running around, and chasing laser dots, toys, or each other. Taking care of them is easy with an automatic feeder and wet food in the evening. We love them so much and miss them dearly!
We absolutely loved our time looking after Jersey in Terri and Dave's lovely home! Jersey is an old and loveable boy; very low-maintenance and a great companion. Terri and Dave's home is very modern, clean and comfortable, equipped with everything we could possibly need. Terri and Dave were also very communicative throughout the stay. We will definitely sit again if the opportunity presents.
My sit for Mary and Phillip was so much fun. I enjoyed the hot tub almost every night. Their dog Truffles was so great to sit for. She had such the personality. I felt so secure with her on my bed every night. It was great to take her for walks and ride my bike around the neighborhood. The weather was not the greatest but I made it work to my advantage doing puzzles and catching up on my shows. I appreciated the wonderful accommodations and would highly recommend this sit for everyone.
