Great day care for dogs. The staff treat your pup like their own and they're always tired when you go to collect them! Wouldn't take my dog anywhere else, he loves spending time here!

Our dog Łajka is a rescue and she is very nervous, but lovely people at this daycare have so much patience for her! I am fully confident leaving her in their capable hands and I know she is always having a good time. If you have doubts be sure you can trust them, you won't regret it!

What a great place for your dog. Our Monty is well looked after and stimulated. They have lots of love and attention. Cardboard mayhem and visits from Santa paws. Plus treats and other doggy fun. What a great way to ensure your pup stays safe and socialised.

My dog has been going for a few months and loves going. The staff are amazing, they play loads of activities with the dogs from training to finding treats. I love the fact you get a little weekly report of what they have been up to and how they have been. They also post so many pictures on social media so you can see what your dog has been up to that day. Couldn't recommend canine companions enough to everyone with dogs.

Fun place for all breeds of dogs. Natural foods available for dogs. Also a walk in small refreshments area too.

Such a fab place to take your dog all staff are super friendly , and great ro go and stay for an hour on saturday or drop off for half a day saturday or even during the week when you at work to drop them off there to play with other dogs and staff , highly recommend

All my doggies love it here. We get out of the car and they head straight to the door. On coming home the two springers in particular are tired out with playing. Alison and all the rest of the staff are lovely with us as well as with the dogs. Trudy them implicitly. 😊 …

I was a little nervous at leaving my baby as it was my first time of leaving her. Though I had no reason to be anxious. I received updates on how Skye was and was very quickly put at ease. Skye was well looked after and loved getting out daily for her runaround in secure field. Skye came home a very happy baby. My two Boston Terriers stayed with Jo for two nights in August as I was away for a long weekend. Before I booked with Jo, she asked me to bring them round to her house to see how they’d get on there. They really enjoyed it and my husband and I felt like they would be in good hands so of course, I booked. They were excited to arrive when they realised where they were going. Jo was very accommodating and allowed me to drop them at 7am so that I could set off on my journey early. Later the same day Jo sent me a photo and a video of them both enjoying being out in a secure field with their doggy friends. Jo is very caring and experienced and I felt very happy leaving my dogs with her. I have another booking and I know they will enjoy themselves again.

Jo has been looking after our dog for some time now and he gets super excited when she calls to pick him up. He comes home shattered after playing with his friends and Jo ensures he gets the best care. We would recommend Jo & Co Pet Care without hesitation a 5* service.

Our shish tzu Poppy goes with Jo twice a week, when she gets picked up she goes completely crazy with excitement, I can tell she had a wonderful day cause she's normally all hyper in the evening time, but on her return home all she wants to do is rest and chill out.

Our dog always has the best time with Jo. She goes for daycare each week and sometimes for boarding and she always comes home so happy after a day of play. Jo sends over regular updates and does all she can to work around us.

Couldn’t recommend Jo & John enough. Hugo absolutely loves his sleep overs and it puts my anxious dog mum mind at ease knowing he’s living his best life whilst I’m away, so much so that he doesn’t want to come home 😂 …

Been with Jo a few years now and her service has always been fantastic. Our Vizsla Cooper goes once a week for daycare and he absolutely loves it. We also use Jo for boarding when we go away which is ideal as Cooper wouldn’t do well with kennel and she provides a home from home for him.

Couldn’t recommend Jo enough, she is amazing with our little Dachshund Dash, he goes to daycare a couple of times a week and he has also boarded with her. He is always super excited to go out with Jo and the gang he greets her with sloppy kiss whenever he sees her! The best around!!!

Jo has been looking after both my cats now for a couple of years when i go away, even if it’s just for 1 night or 2 weeks. She comes round as many times as needed, tends to their needs, plays with them so they don't get lonely and sends me picture updates regularly. I cannot recommend Jo enough for anyone looking for a cat sitter, she is fab, i dont trust anyone else now to look after my cats.

Canine Comforts Wigan, is a fantastic family run business that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe boarding establishment for their dog. Jayne looked after my dog whilst I was away on holiday and sent me regular pupdates of her on walks in the local park and playing in the garden. A wonderful service from wonderful people who care for dogs they look after as if they were their own.

Fantastic 1st class service from Jayne, Millie loves going each week, she is more than well looked after and I receive lots of pictures and videos throughout the day for reassurance. Jayne is very caring and I would highly recommend her to others, I wouldn’t leave Millie with anyone else

My dog Rolo has recently started being seen by Jon at Gradwells Pet Care. As you can see by the picture Jon took of him you can see how much fun he has with him and the other dogs. Jon is great as he works around my shifts which makes it easier for me. Would highly recommend every day of the week

A very professional service! Craig and his family looked after our two dogs for the weekend. They provided excellent care in a safe and secure environment. Our two dogs are not used to boarding but they settled immediately. The team go the extra mile to ensure your pet and their owners are given five star treatment. Plenty of photos and updates to put your mind at rest. Our pets certainly made themselves at home. We can’t thank Craig and his family enough for their wonderful care and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the service to friends and family.

I have just got back from a weeks holiday this was the first time we had put my dogs in somewhere when we went away so i was very anxious about them but i found Dotties and craig was brilliant he really put our minds at rest before we went and while we was away sending photo and videos of my dogs settling in and relaxing with craig and his family i would definitely recommend and be will be using again thank you for taking such good care of my doggos for me while i was away .

We reached out to Craig at dotties pet care and he stated that he did not take dogs that are not neutered, which is understandable. Craig then got back in touch pretty much straight away and stated that there was someone else available who boards dogs on his behalf when they are unavailable/fully booked. That’s when we were put in touch with sue. Sue stated that she could look after our Bobby last minute and she was so lovely and her communication was fab. Bobby enjoyed his time with sue and came back all tired out, as he had been on lots of walkies with sue. I don’t think he wanted to come home haha. We would recommend sue to anybody and we can tell Bobby has been well looked after and enjoyed his time there. Will definitely be using again. Thank you sue. And thank you Craig for pointing us in the right direction so last minute. X

Craig assessed my puppy for a couple if hours. He wasnt phased by his boisterous behaviour. He was relaxed and had an obvious passion for dogs I felt totally relaxed and confident that my puppy would be well cared for. He sent me photos of my puppy to put my mind at rest. Am looking forward to using Dotties petcare in the very near future. 😁😁😁😁

I recently reached out to Craig at Dotties. We were all set to go on a family holiday when our home boarder let us down. Five weeks before flying and we had no one to look after our charming, clever furry cockapoo friend. Craig empathised and did everything to accommodate the family dog. I found the interaction with Craig very warm, confident and caring. He and his family are lovely people who go beyond a home boarding service. They looked after our dog with such love and introduced him to new friends. Our dog even showed Craig that he had a trick or two to share with his new doggy friends. One trick shared was his ability to reach for and open living room doors and then to invite his pals upstairs. Craig, was light hearted about this canine trick. We really appreciated receiving the text messages from Craig, while we were on holiday to say the furry friend was doing well and enjoying his time with other dogs. A truly wonderful family, doing more and more for the animal world. Their love for animals is incredible; this is more than a service, it is the ultimate place for dogs to be cared for - it’s Dottie’s place. Thank you for being amazing people.

100% recommend Dottie's pet care. The family are lovely and welcoming and put me at ease as I was worried leaving my dog for the first time. My dog was loving life there! She came home tired and had a good long nap! She loved playing with the families dog Dottie who is lovely. Definitely use this service!

We have been looking for a Doggy Day Care for our black lab for a while due to our previous one going on maternity and others just being a let down... Dottie and the family have made up for that lost time for our black lab. We met within such a short space of time of messaging and were accomidated so quickly, the fact we met the family and Dottie (and Freddie) just made us see how much they adore the dogs they care for and we started him straight away. My dog absolutely adores them all and recognises Dotties name of a morning when I say "should we go and see Dottie!?" Me and my partner couldn't be happier with the care Cole receives, his relationship with Dottie was meant to be! I also LOVE the pictures and videos I get sent, they make my day! Would recommend to absolutely anyone :-) Thanks for all you've done so far and what you will continue to do, we appreciate it!

Katie is trustworthy, caring and so reliable. She is amazing with Kobi, he adores her and it completely puts my mind at rest knowing she's not only taking care of Kobi but also trusted with our house key. Katie is a doggy guardain angel. I don't think I'd trust Max with anyone else. Max adores her and all his new buddies he's made at daycare. I love the fact we get daily updates with a raft of photos of the dogs daily activities and updates. He comes back knackered every time after a day full of fun and adventures. He's been with Katie from being a young pup and I credit her for helping him being so socialbe and playful with other dogs. Definitely the best decision we made contacting Katie for daycare.

We had other dog walkers and doggy daycare for our dog before we found Katie and she is 100% the best dog walker we have ever had. Our dog, Ruby can be quite anxious but Katie has such a natural empathy and understanding of dogs that she really gives her confidence and reassures her. Ruby absolutely loves Katie and is so happy when she hears her van outside. I would have no hesitation in recommending Katie to any dog owner. She takes the time to get to know each and every dog in her care and treats them as her own.

I have complete trust in Katie, she truly cares and has the well-being of each animal she cares for at heart. This cannot be said of all pet sitters. My cats have been happy and content in her care and they haven’t been stressed when we have been away on holiday. I cannot recommend Katie enough .

I have 4 dogs and have used Katie’s pet care a couple of times for over night stays while I’ve been away. Brilliant service , sends photos and video updates if wanted. Good price and have booked again. Highly recommended!

I wasn't going to leave a review but as I have now tried to find a new day care / dog sitter who wouldn't take us as we had "fallen out" with Katie I feel like people should know we don't allow her to look after our dog anymore .. (my partner cannot do this review as she has been blocked from the page.) Katie came for our dog in the morning he was the first pickup , I went with her to the van (normally she would collect him from inside the building ) She placed my dog in a cage that had faeces in ... I don't know why but I didn't say anything as I was shocked , I thought about it all day and in the evening I asked her , she got quite aggressive and said it was not faeces and that it was sick !!!!! ... This is just as bad it carries just as many germs .. Either way it was not acceptable and rather than just calming the situation argued with me .I am not unreasonable and understand that maybe she was running late (which sadly was another problem we found on a regular basis) or had missed the cage and would have accepted that as a reason as we are only human and can make mistakes .. but no she argued .. so even though our little dog enjoyed his time out I cannot send him there anymore as I do not agree that my dog should lie in sick or faeces and that I should be answered back to after looking after my dogs best interests . This did happen a few months ago and as I said I wasn't going to write a review. However, having tried to find a new sitter, who before I told them my dogs name...already knew it, and that we had dealt with Katie before and also knew we had had issues with Katie. So I now feel like we have been talked/gossiped about on a group chat that all the local dog sitters are on (that another sitters has told us about). So due to the lack of hygiene in Katie's van and the fact we have been blacklisted , we are the ones who suffer as we cant use any local people. God knows what has been said about us .

Our German pointer has just had a wonderful overnight stay at Claire's. He was dropped of early in the day as requested by Claire so she could get to know him and do fun things together. We picked him up the next day and he was happily playing in the garden with other dogs who were staying. We could tell he had been well looked after and came home very tired with all the fun he'd been having! Claire is a real dog lover and we would happily have Claire look after Barney again.

We were recommended Claire from a friend. We were hesitant to leave her as our Greyhound is a rescue and suffers from separation anxiety. However, Claire was fabulous with her. She loved her stay and we are now very confident that she will be spoilt rotten whenever she visits. Thank you Claire x

What more can we say about Claire. From going for our first visit, to dropping both my dogs off, we was greeted with her garden all ready for a play day. Claire treated my dog as if she was her own and I know that she had a great time staying with her. We got some excellent advice and we know that she was given all the attention she needed as if she was at home. Wouldn't hesitate to use her again for any of our doggy needs!

Memphis had a lovely time with Claire for 2 weeks while we where away. It only takes seconds to see the Claire loves dogs and takes good care of them. When we where away we knew Memphis was in a home making doggy friends playing with them and Claire rather than being in a pen in kennels.

Jodie, my Doberman, has just spent 3 weeks with Claire while we have been on holiday. Claire kept us updated with pictures & videos all the time we where away & Jodie came back happy. Jodie will definitely be staying with Claire in future.

We have been using Clare for our Staffordshire Bull Terrier for a couple years now and I am so grateful we found her! She is reliable, caring and my dog adores going to her house for sleepovers. Would recommend 👌

I am very pleased with Pet Getaway. I went on holiday and left my indoor bunny for 15 days. Not only did he have his have his own room to ran around but also boxes to play with. She also bought him 2 bags of feeding hay & sent me videos with updates. I definitely recommend this place.

Fabulous place. Lots of areas to run and play in together with other dogs or they could be on their own. With fields all around my dogs loved all of the smells of the countryside with lots of rabbit holes to investigate. They had an absolutely fabulous time and came home thoroughly worn out and happy. Took my 7 month old Shihpoo George here for 11 nights. Was a bit worried but no need to be, Colleen is so lovely and looked after him so well, sending me pictures and videos and updates. He’s had a fantastic time and we have already booked him in for June. If you need somewhere to leave your fur baby don’t hesitate to use Pet Getaway.

What can I say, the most perfect place for your dog/dogs. We found Colleen through Google search and were absolutely amazed. The place is beautiful and your fur baby will get the best treatment possible. Colleen kept us updated daily through pictures, videos and messages. Why would you leave your dog in kennels when they can go and stay with Colleen at this lovely farmhouse in a rural setting. Colleen truely loves dogs and treats her visitors like her own pets! It is a great setting with a huge garden and a paddock. We left our Spaniel there for the first time last week and when we went to pick him up and put him in the car, he ran back to the house!! No more kennels for him, I would definitely recommend!

I left my dog with Colleen and he had a great time! He's a Great Dane so not the smallest dog! (50kg and still a puppy at 7 months old when Colleen took him). Colleen treat him like one of her own which was great. He was able to run round the farm field as well as sleep on the sofa and chairs just like he does at home! I definitely recommend Colleen. I was delighted to have found Colleen to care for my nervous 7 month old pup Daisy. Daisy has a fear of cars and to have somewhere she could safely exercise was a big relief for me to go on holidays without worrying about her. Was very nervous leaving my pup for the first time… I needn’t have been. Pookie had a great time playing with all the other dogs. Colleen sent me photos and videos during her stay which helped put my mind at rest. She was only there for one night ( a bit of a taster session) but she’s booked in for a week in May.

Jen was fantastic looking after our 2 cats for the week. Jen is super friendly and sent regular videos from each of her visits to look after them. It was great having peace of mind whilst away knowing they were being so well looked after, and then coming home to happy kitties. 🥰 Will definitely use Jen again and highly recommend to anyone wanting pet sitter whilst they’re away 👍😊. Jen is amazing! We wouldn't leave our fur baby with anyone else. She always ensures he has the food he likes, spends time with him and he gets plenty of exercise.

Out chocolate lab has been going to Jen’s for about 28 months, we were recommended by a friend who uses her. Our lab, Daisy, loves going there and I sometimes wonder where she would prefer to live. Jen is absolutely spot on and really looks after and plays with Daisy and treats her as if she were own. My dog Jessie has stayed for her holidays several times with Jen. I know that Jessie is happy and relaxed when she is there, Jen always keeps me up to date with photos and messages. Jen is a lovely lady who genuinely loves dogs and I highly recommend her services.

We have used Jen and Alan since March 2015 for our beagle puppy, they walk her twice a day and she goes to stay on her holidays, which is a home from home. The care and attention Bella receives is first class and I can not speak highly enough of how they both are with Bella, Bella gets so excited when she is going on walks with them and loves going to stay - she doesn't give us a second glance! I would highly recommend anyone who needs pet care for their animals to contact Jen and Alan, you won't look back!

Jen and Alan have been walking Joe every week day for nearly a year and I was so lucky to have found them. They are professional and very caring and I know Joe is in good hands. They have been very reliable and flexible and Joe is off for his holiday with them later this year. I would highly recommend Jens pet services.

Jen was very welcoming and showed me round the bunny boarding to where my 2 rabbits could share a hutch outdoors. I left my bunnies with Jen for 8 nights. I received photos of them on their first night which was lovely. When I picked the bunnies up, I was told they were ‘one big ball of fluff and malting lots’ and needed separating to get them in the carrier. I later found out from Jen this meant they had been fighting which wasn’t what I had been told. Upon getting them home, one bunny was very poorly and Jen was not the most helpful on the phone when I was asking questions about any incidents whilst in her care - dismissing my comments and talking over me. I told her I was sure one bunny would die that night and she said to keep her updated after a visit to the emergency vets (and £200 vet bill). I have since been busy trying to adapt to a pair of now un bonded rabbits (having to buy another hutch for one) and giving medication to another but I would have appreciated a quick message to ask how they are doing. I am aware you have other animals to care for but a bit more empathy towards two rabbits that have come home from your care un bonded and one seriously poorly would have been appreciated. I am sure this wouldn’t happen on every bunny visit but your lack of support during our phone call and the lack of effort to see how my rabbits are doing after the call has really added to our very stressful week.

Our Charlie just loves staying with Jen and Alan they treat him like he's one of the family its lovely seeing his reaction when he sees them he's so at home there and we can relax when he's there knowing he's so happy and receiving excellent care love and affection. We would not hesitate in recommending both Jen and Alan as they offer a first class service and are such wonderfull people.

Heather has been walking our dog Maggie for about 12 months now. Maggie is an anxious little dog, but Heather is very patient and caring with her. We can't recommend Heather highly enough to anyone needing dog walking or boarding services. We value Heather's reliability, knowledge, and obvious care and attention for animals. The little updates and pictures of Maggie's walks really make our day too.

It's so important to choose a boarding place that matches the love and safeguarding of our animals and Heather is superb at both. Heather was soo accommodating to help us at the last minute when our plans had changed. She is so organised and plans everything down to the finest details which means you can rest assured your dog is is safe hands. Her property is homely and cosy and her garden is such a great, safe space for dogs to have a sniff around and play. Heather is aware of the unique requirements of different breeds too. The daily updates are soo good, Heather gives you a really good summary of what has happened to put your nerves at rest, as well as few pictures and a map of the walks! Heather even arranged a new dog collar for us! We can thank Heather enough and will be 100% using again. Thanks Heather!

Mandy is excellent with doggies. Especially Milo. Her knowledge with having a boxer is outstanding. She totally understands him. Mandy not only does her job well she does it with love and care. Mandy took some brilliant photos of our boy. kept us updated and put us at ease. We enjoyed our four days away. Milo certainly enjoyed his 4 days with Mandy. I would highly recommend

We went on holiday and had We Love Pets look after our 2 cats and our 4 rescue hens!! They sent Sarah who was perfect. Sadly one of our hens, who had been poorly before we left, passed away. She’d fought hard to survive, but she was too tired in the end. Sarah gave me the news straight away. Very hard for her, but she was so caring and considerate. Throughout the week she sent photos and videos and daily updates. The most amazing service!! We came home to this… a photo of the lady we lost, a lovely plaque and handwritten card xxx this is a priceless service, that went above and beyond. I highly recommend this service if you’re going away and don’t want your pets to be uprooted and upset!!! 10/10 priceless service!! Thank you xx

We use “we love pets” to do puppy visits to our gorgeous Hugo. The ladies are amazing - they all visited beforehand to meet him and now come whenever we need them. Hugo loves them all and loves to play with them. We get great photos (thank you Elkie and Carol) and can tell he is safe and enjoying himself. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Hugo would give 6* if he could!

We had a wonderful experience. Mandy really took great care of our cocker spaniel and introduced him to lots of play buddies. Everyday we received updates from his walks out and Oakley really missed his holiday fun when he came home. Thanks again, for the care and attention you gave our four legged pal ❤️

Our little boy has the time of his life with the ladies at we love pets. He has been going with them now for over a year. He had problems with other dogs while out but now loves his little gang and loves his walks with them. They have a reslly good understanding of what your dog needs to enjoy the walk and take care and are very patient. They always collect him on time and leave him back at the house with fresh water and a treat. He is always happy to go with them. While we are away he stays with our mother and he is collected from there with no worries and they are always happy to change arrangements to fit in with us and what's best for the dogs they care for. I would recommend them to anybody who is looking for dog walking services.

We love pets, helped me out with an urgent 2 night boarding. Meeting Mandy for the first time in her home, I instantly felt her warmth towards me and Chester, it was certainly home from home for him , her understanding of his needs and dedication shown, with updates of text and videos during his stay was so reassuring, I will definitely use the services offered by we love pets again

We love Pets Chorley, are absolutely incredible they have been so accommodating to us and we couldn’t be more than thankful. Elkie has been walking our dog since he was a puppy and she has bonded so well with him and knows actually how to handle our boy especially when he is one of his crazy puppy moods. Elkie initially started with the 1-1 puppy call around but has now moved on to have a big boy walk where Elkie takes him for an hour and we couldn’t be so lucky it’s with another Hungarian Vizsla and they’ve become the best of friends and we love it when we’re both at work and they send through all the videos and pictures that day. Ted has the absolute time of his life when out walking with Elkie or any other member of the team! His recall and relationship with other dogs has improved no end. I know I can call on Caroline at short notice and our needs are always met. Ted is often out longer than the time I have paid for and is always dropped off clean & dry, which for a mud magnet takes some doing! I have 100% confidence in the whole team and would recommend them without hesitation.

We have had such positive experiences with our two girls, Mandy is very attentive on her visits and sends us ample photos and videos of them, taking the time to play their favourite games. Our cats are very lucky to have someone so wonderful check in on them when we have to go away!
