Location- perfect for beautiful beach! Uber into Salvador possible on cleaner’s day ....otherwise too long to leave dog. Home - basically (but sufficiently) equipped in a lovely friendly urbanisation with little pool. Walkable to supermarkets and vet etc. Amora- friendly, playful but unfortunately not able to be let off lead/rope because of scavenging (Brazilians leave chicken bones etc on beach) and refusal to come when called, so you need arm strength for the long walks she likes/needs. She is allowed on sofas but sleeps happily in crate in bedroom. Justine and Chris very friendly!
If you're considering applying to sit for Axel and Amanda, I'd advise you to JUMP AT THE CHANCE, before somebody else gets it! We had a wonderful time, starting from the welcome lunch Amanda prepared on our arrival, when we were given a very warm welcome by the whole family. The house is stylish, modern and comfortable, with everything you could need. It's a short walk to Chorleywood underground station, from which you can get into London quickly and easily. Chorleywood is a lovely village, with lots to do nearby: pubs and restaurants, parks, walks and, of course, the easy access to the capital. We visited the Museums and did a very impressive Wembley Stadium Tour while we were there. But the best part for us was the sheer joy of looking after Carmen, the dog. She's just the most placid, relaxed girl you could hope for. We had our two boys with us and they were instantly besotted. We ended up taking Carmen for her morning and evening walks 'en famille' because everybody wanted to volunteer and nobody wanted to stay behind! Even better, because Carmen takes life at such a slow pace, there's no danger of her pulling on the lead or knocking you over. She's just a great big softie. We were all sad to leave Carmen behind when we went home. We'd sit for Axel and Amanda again in a heartbeat. A lovely family with a very special canine family member.
If you're looking to discover the area around Washington D.C. and enjoy a lovable snugglebug, then taking care of Jake is 100% the right choice! Jake has a lovely personality. He enjoys cuddling and he sleeps a lot, which is 100% normal for a dog of his age. And yet, after he wakes up, or when he's had his food, or even when he knows he's going into the car for an adventure, he unleashes his inner puppy and does zoomies worth of a dog a quarter of his age. He's VERY good on walks, especially if they're on trails in the woods or in the region's many nearby parks. He is well-behaved around other dogs. He's extremely well-behaved around other people. He was a real pleasure to take care of and we already miss him dearly. Jule & Mike have a lovely home in a D.C. outskirt, Vienna, VA. It's a nice, quiet, leafy neighbourhood. For us it was a perfect base to explore vineyards to the southwest, Alexandria to the southeast, and Great Falls and other parks to the north. Getting into D.C. is easy; there's a Metro station just 6 minutes drive away and from there you can get right into the heart of the city. The house itself is really nice. It's got a great bedroom for housesitters, complete with your own bathroom. The kitchen has excellent light and ample space. The family room is perfect for snuggling with Jake and taking in a movie. Jule and Mike were wonderful hosts. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They have fascinating stories to tell of their many travels. They left excellent advice and even Metro cards all loaded up so we didn't even have to pay for the fare downtown. We also got to meet their dynamic and engaging son, Noah. They are a delightful family. We would gladly take care of Jake in the future. If you're looking to discover D.C. ... or anywhere else these globetrotters end up in the future ... you'll find yourself in just the right place to be!
I had an amazing time looking after Pumba. He is very sweet and calm. He liked laying next to me on the couch, playing with his toys, staring at me when he wanted attention! Pumba gets very excited when we go for a walk, he likes sniffing around and running at the park. He knows when he wants to go back home, and he will let you know by coming next to you, staring or sometimes barking at you. I already miss him! Paloma and Vinicius are wonderful, warm and welcoming. I felt comfortable right away. I will be so happy to see all three of them again!
A truly wonderful sit from start to finish! Mary couldn't possibly have made things any easier. Her communication was outstanding, providing detailed information on everything needed to take great care of her home and pet. She was extremely welcoming and generous, and it was a joy to overlap for a few days to get to know each other. Delilah is a real sweetheart and about as low maintenance as a kitty could be; she's the perfect blend of super affectionate but also independent. Mary's home was clean, very comfortable, and so inviting to spend time in, and is in an ideal location to get to know Todos Santos. I would not hesitate to sit for Mary and sweet Delilah again anytime!
Lovely home, very well situated and has all the amenities you need. Very easy cat to take care of, super friendly and makes his needs clear. I worked remotely for the entirety of my stay and had no issues with the Wi-Fi or with noise, considering I had to take a lot of meetings. Home is located near a new metro station so it is very easy to get anywhere especially the airport. Only complaint since it was a newer line it wasn’t open late so I had to Uber/city bike home a few times but I’m sure as time goes on that will be adjusted. Host was super friendly and made sure to answer any questions I had. Would sit here again in a heartbeat!

We live in Florida and we’re looking for a boarding facility here since we were flying out of Houston Int’l with family. I’m so happy I found this place! The staff were very professional and caring. I received updates about my two angels while I was away and they seemed to have enjoyed their time there. I felt at ease knowing that my pups were being well cared for while I was out of the country. If and when we travel out of Houston again, we will certainly use this facility again.

The vet emailed me back and fourth to check in, they tried different foods and a kind receptionist even kept him up front with her for the day. There was a whole crew saying bye to him when he left.
