We had a great time in the lovely home of Toni, David, Cooper and Freddy 🐕. Freddy is a genius dog we are still impressed how smart he is, he knows the way to get back home and to the pet store!! He knows exactly what he wants!! We loved staying, walking and playing with him, and it was hard to say goodbye to this friendly lovely dogui. The place is really nice and more than well located and Toni’s family really made us feel welcome into their home, they are special people!! All the best wishes to all of them! We are grateful to have met them and for this beautiful experience.

Super clean and organized gorgeous house in great location! Marlena was so generous and let me sleep in her master bedroom. The standing bathtub was a rare find. The two cats are very loving and sweet. The entire engagement was easy to manage. Thank you for such a beautiful experience, Marlena!!!

It was a delight to look after lovely little sisters, Kevyn and Dorothy. They are such sweet-natured wee souls. From the moment we met, Kevyn treated me like an old friend. Dorothy was a little shy at first. However, she quickly grew comfortable around me, and was soon as chatty as her sister.

Communication with Alison, their 'human', was straightforward and easy. Alison was lovely, and always very responsive to queries prior to, and throughout, the sit. Meanwhile, the instruction manual, that was made available to me immediately upon confirmation, was simple to understand.

The kitties live in a beautiful attic flat that has everything you are likely to need to make your stay entirely comfortable. Their home is a serene space to retreat to, if you are keen to find some solitude and 'me-time'. Equally, it is a wonderful place to be, if you are looking for peace and inspiration to work on, for example, a writing project.

And, while the peacefulness of the flat is a delight, it is still only a few minutes walk from charming and lively Largs seafront - site of the famous Nardini's ice-cream parlour. The iconic art deco cafe is just one of many eateries that abound around Largs - alongside beautiful scenery, friendly folk and bouncy dogs. There are also plenty of places to pick up some traditional fish 'n' chips to enjoy by the shore.

I would also recommend popping to the Vikingar Visitors' Centre, located on the seafront. It is a fascinating interactive attraction that explores Largs' Viking heritage. Equally worth visiting is the hidden gem that is Skelmorlie Aisle - built in the 1600s in the Renaissance style. There are also some lovely walking trails around Largs. And sauntering along the seafront can feel spectacular and bracing.

If you fancy getting away for the day, the beautiful isle of Cumbrae is a mere 10-minute ferry ride. Cumbrae too has its own spectacular coastal and inland walks, as well as cycle routes. And a visit to this little island would not be complete without a wander round Millport, its capital and only 'town'.

I would heartily recommend this pet-sit with two lovely little lassies, in a beautiful home, nestled in a quintessentially Scottish seaside town, along the Clyde coast.

I very much look forward to returning - thank you to Alison and the kitties for your kindness and hospitality!

We had such a beautiful stay and very much enjoyed looking after Diggory and Floyd for the 3 nights we were there. They are both very relaxed cats, pleasant and easy to look after. The neighborhood was great, public transport easily accessible and grocery shops just around the corner, we’d happily house sit again :)

Loki and Athena were so sweet to me. I can't believe how much love their tiny bodies contain! Let me tell you, it's a lot 💓 Between their hilarious bursts of zoomies and their purr-tastic cuddles, I'm left feeling oh so grateful to have spent the weekend with them. Thank you Debra for opening your home to me and sharing Loki and Athena 🙌💖 Hope to see you guys soon!! ✨️

Big thanks to Beth for this amazing housesitting opportunity. Her place is gorgeous! It's like staying at a tranquil retreat in a beautiful neighbourhood and the proximity to downtown Boulder is just way too good. I had a great time checking out the surrounding parks with Lily and chillin with Lou around the house. I'd definitely recommend other sitters take in a slice of this four-legged heaven!
