Dominique was only my 2nd sitter but what can I say other than outstanding! Our sit was arranged by text only (no on-line meet before) and I was not disappointed. Dominique's communication was excellent; she kept me informed of all her travel arrangements and I got a 'feeling' from our text discussions that she adored cats. When we finally met in person we got along really well. My gut feeling about how kind and gentle she was was correct and I was put at ease. Dominique arrived the day before our departure (Christmas day) - we enjoyed a traditional English Christmas dinner, she met Cleo and I was able to show her around the house, discuss Cleo's routine and a little of area where we live - this was a definite plus. Dominique would send regular updates/photos of Cleo and what was interesting was how she quickly developed a really nice bond with Cleo and became to love Cleo. Now I know my cat is wonderful but when a stranger, who spends time with her says, she's special and had an impact on her then that just melts your heart (especially when you are away and have left your beloved cat with this person). I could tell upon my return that Cleo was well looked after - she was super chilled and accepted a cuddle (no snubbing), we had a play, she ate her dinner and all was forgiven :) . She has looked around the home for Dominique since she left. I think you can tell a lot about a person by the behaviour of your animal upon your return - it was as though I'd not left her and Dominique was just an extension of me. Dominique is a wonderful human being - very kind and gentle and absolutely adores animals. She did everything that was asked with regards to the care of Cleo and my home was spotlessly clean. I would highly recommend Dominique and would mot hesitate to have her sit Cleo again.
Selene and Shay are wonderful beings and give our pets and home priority care. They don’t live far from us and have sat for us three times now. We feel completely comfortable with them and can be away from home without worrying about our pets. We know they are in good hands. Thank you Selene and Shay:-))
Is it better to board cats or leave at home?
