We had a lovely time and were so happy to have both Izzy and Bracc ‘the hound’ rather than just the one dog, Bracc soon became known as the ever hopeful Fomo and other than when snoozing was never far from our side ( or food!). Izzy is just a super little girl, who knows what she wants, and how to get it. Travelling as a couple it is lovely to ‘have a dog each’ and we really enjoyed our walks with them in the beautiful surrounding countryside. The fact that we were able to borrow bikes meant we did a little exploring further afield too without leaving them for too long. Although initially Bracc seemed more aloof he is actually the best of company, and Izzy has character in abundance. We loved pottering in the garden, and the location and outlook are sublime. Thank you for not only sharing your pets and home….(the photos do not do it justice, but then that is just such a nice addition when you arrive), but for being so hospitable and such fun too. Wouldn’t think twice about experiencing a second slice of this good life should the opportunity arise.
The two cats were very nice and usually friendly. Calum and Tanja's house is very interesting. I felt very welcome there. Even the neighbor took care to check in on me. We had a lot of fun looking after the menagerie! The animals are all friendly including the chickens who liked to come and sit on our lap if we were outside. Bailey, Fidget and Frankie kept us entertained with their antics and cheered up us when we needed it. It was a first for us looking after chickens, a snake and an owl but Katie reassured us and gave us really clear instructions for their care enabling us to look after them with ease. Katie was also kind enough to let us attend the funeral of a close family member during our stay. They arranged for a friend to come in and see the dogs so that we didn't have to worry about being back early. We really appreciated their compassion and understanding of the situation. The house has a super garden, a lovely common close by to walk the dogs and comfy spacious rooms. All this combined with friendly and relaxed hosts made for an enjoyable sit that we would be glad to go back to in the future.
Ana was a fantastic host and her apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. She was a great communicator throughout the sit and made us feel immediately welcomed in her home. Four cats may sound like a lot, but these four are all superstars! We fell in love with each one of them and were constantly entertained by their interactions with each other and with us. Braveheart is a sweetheart who loves a brush. Liberté is a great companion who always wants to be around. Dysart is a princess who has the sweetest, motherly relationship with Mina. Mina is an adorable kitten; playful, mischievous, with endless energy. We loved our stay in Snodland and would happily stay again. We miss the cats already!
We loved the opportunity to meet Iris and Halldor, such a warm, intelligent and lovely couple. Communications were excellent. The pets were a joy to care for, the cats mostly independent during the heatwave, Dreki the dog our amazingly rewarding companion, we really miss him. All are leaving the lovely location shortly on new exciting ventures and we wish them all the very best for the future and hope to reunite. Best Wishes
This was our first time looking after Lionel for Jan and everything went really well. Lionel is a very chilled boy who loves company and is always around the house and garden. He is super easy to look after and loved to sit on my lap in the evenings. Communication with Jan was good and when she decided to come home earlier than planned at the end of the sit, this was a great opportunity for us to watch the Wimbledon Mens' Tennis Final together and get to know each other better ahead of our next already organised sit in a few weeks time!

So grateful for finding Harvey’s house after a friends recommendation! I was nervous for our first time leaving our pup for vacation, but Andrea and Chris made the experience so easy and stress free! I Would 100% recommend and will be using them again now that we have experienced such great care for our Rebel while we are away from home. Rebel had such a great time with Harvey and was able to explore and have fun while we were away. I got frequent pictures with updates and felt at ease knowing he was comfortable and in good hands. Andrea and Chris are incredible and seeing Nikko light up when we arrive for a playdate tells us all we need to know! I’m so glad that one of our friends shared Harvey’s House w/ us!!! From the 1st contact we knew that Rudy was going to be in the best hands!! Communication is caring, prompt & so easy! Everything they do is so thoughtful! For our 1st step Andrea, Chis & Harvey had us come over for a meet & greet! They had several dogs that day & let me tell you they have this figured out!!! They had the dogs they were watching come outside one by one to meet Rudy. He has never had the opportunity to play w/ other dogs so we did not know what to expect. The approach that they have was awesome & he had so much fun making new friends & playing! Drop off & pick ups are easy! The communication while we were away was OUTSTANDING!! Anytime I texted I heard back right away, we received pictures & you can follow along on their instagram stories & it puts your heart @ ease while you are away from your pet! We truly felt like Rudy was on his own little vacation!! We will always use Harvey’s House now when we go away & will definitely be spreading the word to anyone looking for the best care possible for their pet while on vacation! They also have dog play dates which we will have Rudy attend soon as I am sure he is already missing Andrea, Chis, Harvey & his other new friends❤️
We are new to Harvey's House. I used to bring my guys to a kennel and always kind of felt bed, since they are not used to sleeping in a crate. Harvey's House is perfect. They get to socialize with other dogs (carefully though...we needed to do a meet and greet to make sure all the personalities meshed before we jumped in). The environment is very similar to their environment at home...lounging around the house and running around a fenced-in yard. Additionally, Harvey's House came to the rescue when my mother passed and I needed a place for my buddies to stay for two nights...it was great. I was not worried one bit about my Frank & Mick. 🐶❤️🐕

We are ever so grateful for finding the most perfect pet care place for our very energetic 7 month old silver lab - Charlie. Andrea, Chris and of course Harvey are a blessing to my husband and I. Harvey’s House Petcare is a local treasure. Our dog is extremely social and it is a dream come true to have Harvey’s available for both Saturday play dates, to let him simply be a dog with other dogs, and for sleepovers when we are traveling. He is able to be in the comfort of an home and honor his instincts as a pack animal. Andrea and Chris are like every dog’s Auntie and Uncle and we are so lucky to have them in the Greater Springfield area. Highly recommend!!!
We are so happy we found Porter Road Pet Care! We just got back from a week trip and sent our 2 year old GSD here. He gets nervous around others at first and needs a little time to trust and they did so well with him! I could see how happy he was in their updates and when we picked him up. He played with other dogs at his stay there and was sleeping nice and cozy when we picked him up! This place helped me relax on our trip. And I can't wait to send him here again!

Had a great experience boarding my dog here. She is a nervous girl and gets anxiety when I leave. She also needs slow intros with other dogs and the staff were so lovely and accommodated for her needs. They made sure she got attention, ate, and had her meds on time. Her kennel was clean and spacious with an outdoor run. I loved the web cam option so I could see her. When I picked her up she was happy and not as anxious as she’s been when trying other sitting services while I’m away. I will definitely return and highly recommend them!
It was my old boy Prince's first time there. His old groomer said they couldn't groom him anymore because his hind legs give up on him. The wonderful people at Porter Road groomed him, were so kind to him, and said he could come back anytime!
Driving into the property, I knew we found the right place for our dogs and cats. The location is beautiful and it is immediately obvious that the family loves pets. The owner accommodated our needs. We received pics of our dogs on their walk and they looked so happy! Drop off and pick up were efficient. Well worth the trip from Enfield/ East Windsor line.
I cannot say enough good things about porter road pet care and their staff. My Great Dane is a nervous boy but the team here does such a great job with him. Knowing he’s in such great hands eases my own anxiety about being away from him. There’s no one I would trust more with my boy
Had a wonderful experience. My corgi had a 10 day stay while we were on vacation. We were able to watch her on camera and able to call to voice any of the concerns that we had. Everyone was willing to discuss her daily routine and made the extra effort to help her adapt to her temporary stay. When we picked her up on the 10th day she was bathed, smelled wonderful and looked very happy and excited to see us. If you are nervous about leaving your fury family member ...don't be... they will be just fine!

My 2yr and 4 yr old Papillons loved the grooming. They were lavished with love, professionally trimmed the Papillon trim. Their fur is bright white and silky smooth. Paws, nails trimmed.... they look wonderful. I usually groom them....I will be going to Porter Rd pet care from now on!! Thankyou!!!!

I used to highly endorse and recommend Camelot Kennels publicly and privately in the community, but sadly it's taken a bad turn under current management/ownership over this last year. 7 loyal, loving, hardworking, devoted animal caretakers resigned mid July the same week. Praying for Camelot management to humble themselves, learn from the feedback their past employees shared and make needed changes. I truly hope one day it becomes a safe emotional and physical place for employees and pets again.
First let me say I was a client from June 2022 to July 2024. 2022/2023 I would never have said anything negative and highly recommended them. However as 2024 was brought in so did the mindset of this place and unfortunately not for the better, money was only focus not the dogs and their wellbeing. If you have a reactive dog, dog with a disability, or anything special needs related STAY CLEAR. They aren’t transparent in practices except a now deleted Facebook leash protocol video. My dogs aren’t perfect. My eldest being a full behavioral rehab and 100% deaf. The owner is just money hungry with zero regard for dogs’ wellbeing behind close doors. I’m currently paying for it two months later. They had time to acknowledge the email I went into details on why my dogs were pulled. The staff are amazing. It’s the owner and management. A large majority of staff quit for unknown reasons all at once, ones who clients kept coming back because of. That should say volumes.
We absolutely love Camelot Kennels! They take the best care of our dog Beau! We have tried other boarding places in the past and sometimes Beau would come home sick but we have never had an issue with Camelot kennels. They send us pictures everyday of Beau to keep us updated on the fun he is having and they are the sweetest pictures. They always have people outside to watch the pups while they play and there seems to always be supervision at all times. We cannot recommend them enough if you need a place for your fur baby and also want some peace of mind while you’re away! They really do take such good care of our furry child :)
I absolutely LOVE Camelot Kennels! My dog Penny has been going there for the past two years. She goes to day care twice a week- and also always stays their while we are on vacation (She was just "vacationing" @ Camelot from 7/9-7/18) She always comes back clean, healthy and happy! The staff is amazing- always willing to help and answer any questions. I will never take my dog anywhere else. Absolutely recommend Camelot Kennels- from one dog mom to another!
I decided to start my new puppy with doggie daycare back in July 2022. (Which I had never done with my past pooches) My first thoughts as I carried in my pup was "look at how happy all these dogs are!" Well this place is the best! The staff is very caring and loves your dog like their own. Pricing is good. Ruby loves coming here. I'm worry free when we board her for a weekend get away. They are just part of our pack!
Communications were prompt and thorough. Staff were friendly and supportive. My pup was glad to see me at pick up but not as crazy excited as I expected...which means to me that he enjoyed his stay and felt safe and comfortable there.
My dog absolutely loves going to Camelot. He is not happy to stay with people he knows, but is always happy to spend time at Camelot. The staff is awesome and very accommodating to my dogs needs. The play areas are wonderful. As is there grooming services. Tramp is always happy and exhausted when he comes home. So I know he had a wonderful time! Definitely Recommend!

My review was deleted unfortunately I believe by the owner so I’ll write this again as a warning for anyone else looking to board here. My puppy stayed here for about five days and when he came home, he was covered in pee and had scratches on his belly. He was supposed to receive a bath before coming home but it was clear he had not. The staff also apparently did not notice or care about the multiple gashes on his belly as they didn’t inform me about anything when I asked how his stay was. When I called after realizing he was filthy and injured, I was told they would investigate and call me back. They never called back so I had to call again, and when I asked for a refund for the bath he never received, I was initially refused and then promised a check. That check never came. I’m appalled that my dog came back to me with scratches and that the staff didn’t even notice. That’s the kind of attention and care the dogs get there, so I would absolutely not recommend this place. I’m never taking my dog back and I would give this 0 stars if I could. I would also recommend you go read their yelp reviews about other dogs who have been injured and have died here.
Really hard not believe my dog spent all of his time in the kennel rolling around in urine. He smelled horrible and looked like he was oily. Lady had an attitude when I showed up a little early to pick my dog up which makes no sense seeing that she still got her full day pay plus some. Just a heads up when you walk in the office the smell will literally take your breath away.
Do not recommend this kennel. The smell as soon as you walk in is horrendous. My perfectly healthy 2 year old dog came home so sick. He had a fever, shaking, refusing food, bloody diarrhea. The woman had zero interest in listening when I was explaining his food. When I picked him up 4 days later she barely said 2 words besides how much we owed. While she is very cheap, it explains why now. Would not recommend anyone bring their pup here.
My parents decided to leave our family dog, Nu, here while they went on vacation. Nu was an older (approx 9-10 years old) but energetic and loving chihuahua with a healthy appetite. He loved to bark, like other small chihuahuas. Picked him up about 5 days later and he was filthier than normal. Alarmingly, however, Nu was completely lethargic with new persistent diarrhea. He loved my dad and would follow him everywhere before, but after staying at this boarding place, he was not the same. He wouldn't eat or drink, and would barely open his eyes after coming home. Emailed the owner (?), who was cordial (for the record) and who said Nu was probably stressed and that he had been eating fine during his stay. Brought Nu to the vet and he ended up passing away about 7 days after coming home from this place. He probably contracted a gastrointestinal or respiratory viral illness during his stay. Told the owner about his passing (we weren't looking for any compensation). Not even a single "sorry" or "sorry for your loss" from them--just silence and no response. I still think about Nu from time and time, and feel like people should know about this and make a decision whether they should leave their pet at this boarding place or with any other boarding place. One of my biggest regrets ever--I should have watched after Nu instead of leaving him all by himself here.

I can't write a completely proper review since I just dropped my dog off. But they have great prices and I know my mom was very happy with them before. One thing I didn't like was they opened at 8, we showed up at 910am and no one answered . We called and knocked and there was no answer for abou15 min. Finally someone pulled up and it was the person who worked there.
I’ve used Jordan Kennels for years. I’ve never had any real issues other than my pup always coming back smelly, covered in dirt and grime (plus god knows what else). However, after just picking my dog up (after ONE night) I discovered that she was limping and that her paws were completely raw and bleeding. The owner failed to mention or dare I even say notice.This is 100% unacceptable. I know dogs will be dogs but there should be steps in place to make sure the animals aren’t hurting themselves while in the care of Jordan Kennels. Needless to say I will never be using their services again. PLEASE DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. There are other places that will be safer and cleaner for your fur baby.
this was the worst place I've ever left my dog. when I went to pick him up he smelled very strongly like urine. almost as if he was sleeping in his own urine. his fur was all stained yellow. his bed was full of urine. it looked like my dog was thrown in the cage and left there for the week without any attention what so ever. also his favorite ball that he had since he was a puppy was never returned with his belongings either. I would highly recommend no one to bring their dog here if they care about their dog.
My dogs things were covered in urine... I asked her to keep my pups crate with her ( chihuahua) cause she felt more secure sleeping in it and she did not... the owner also called me to ask when I was picking my dog up in a very snotty attitude! I will never bring any animal of mine here again. This lady doesn't care about the animals...
I heard of this place from a co worker and I was very pleased the lady did a wonderful job on our puppy, my son and I went to get his nails clipped and she was done in about two minutes. I would recommend this place to anyone. The lady was very polite. Thank you 😊 …
We are thrilled with Audrey. She is reliable and trustworthy. We have one indoor cat, one outdoor cat (who vanishes when we travel), fish and plants. All are always well taken care of, giving us great peace of mind. Audrey does not hesitate to contact you if she has a concern. We had a bad cat fight during our last trip (Feb.). Audrey found blood and fur on the snow on the deck and was worried about our outdoor cat. Fortunately our security cameras captured the fight and our cat was not involved. We were able to share the videos with Audrey so she could also have peace of mind. Our outdoor cat showed up a day after our return looking no worse for wear.
We're so glad we discovered Happy Paws last year. Audrey took great care of our 13-year-old cat while we took a few week-long trips during the summer. Audrey texted updates & photos so we always had peace of mind, especially since Curtis the cat is very social & gets anxious when no one's around. While he doesn't currently have health problems it's good to know she can monitor him when we can't. And based on reviews from her other clients I'm confident she'll handle any such health issues should they arise while she checks on Curtis during our upcoming trips.
We couldn't be happier with our experience with Happy Paws. We utilized their services to help with our elderly cat while we went away for Christmas. Our cat required medications (topical, specialized feedings and oral syringe) twice a day and Audrey was not only reliable and dependable with delivering the meds, but she also sent us some updates with texts and pictures. Audrey was very thorough and attentive from the initial interview throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Happy Paws for your pet sitter needs.

I have an older, timid, special needs dog and Audrey is one of the few people my dog truly feels comfortable around. It's been like this since we first met Audrey. In addition to regular dog walking, Audrey recently stayed at my home while I was on vacation. My dog needs a number of medications and Audrey scrupulously maintained a log of the times the meds were administered and also her eating habits while I was away. I knew Audrey would be very caring for my dog, but this was way above and beyond what I expected!!! She is trustworthy, dependable and reliable. When I met Audrey I was so relieved to find a pet sitter who I could trust with my fur babies. I was disappointed with all the kennels we had tried and was looking for a safer stress free option for my Goldendoodle and Siamese cat. Audrey has been our only pet sitter now for a year and a half. Audrey is great and easy to reach . I enjoy seeing photos or videos of my pets on Audrey's Facebook page. She has also watered my plants and shipped a package to us that we needed. I highly recommend Audrey for your pet sitting needs!
I'm so thankful that I have Audrey to check in on my dog Elvis !! Audrey is visiting Elvis several days/week and she is so patient with him. Elvis is a senior dog that is blind so he can't be rushed while outside or to do anything really, except eating of course :) Audrey is excellent with him and 100% reliable. Audrey is also very good at communicating if there is anything I need to know. Can't recommend her enough to anybody in need of a reliable and very caring dog walker or pet sitter.

Daragan's takes the best care of my pup for day care and boarding. They learned her personality so quickly, are so understanding of her needs, and flexible with my busy schedule. The care they provide is worth every penny. I also highly recommend having your dog groomed here. My dog smells wonderful and her nails look great after her "spa day" yesterday!

I met with Anne Marie for a meet and greet so I could introduce my pup Merlin to the staff and the space and got a good vibe from the beginning. My dog has extreme separation anxiety yet the staff at Daragan’s did a fantastic job taking care of him. He was as happy and healthy as ever when I picked him up! If I could give more stars than 5 I absolutely would! 10/10 would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for boarding, doggy day care, or training. Their staff is professional and caring and really treat the dogs like family. Couldn’t be happier with my experience!

When I go away I always bring my 3 dogs there. They are kind, take awesome care of my dogs and I know I don't have to worry and can enjoy myself. Would never leave them anywhere else
Use Daragans Dog Care this past weekend and they sent pictures of my dog, kept me up to date every time I checked in and worked with my dog! They pick up and drop off for pet sitting, super convenient for me, and very affordable. Thank you so much, I will be referring clients to you!
NOW MY GIRLFRIEND'S CHIHUAHUA NEEDS HIGHER DOSAGES OF ANXIETY MEDS. THANKS CUDDLES! Also..... they don't watch dragons. I asked. Not even if it doesn't eat chihuahuas. C'mon Cuddles.
