We loved looking after Ruby and Pippa in James’ lovely home. The girls are total loves, and they have a great setup on the patio, which gave us a lot of flexibility to go site-seeing throughout the day.

With the train station an easy 10 minute walk away, Newport was a convenient location, which gave us straightforward access to Melbourne CBD but also a quiet leafy respite to return to.

Their home is lovely, with lots of lounging areas, all the modern conveniences you could ask for, and an extremely comfortable guest room bed.

We miss the girls already and would happily sit for them again in the future.

Frances
We had a great stay at Frances’ home in the Cotswolds. The setting is stunning, with walks right from the garden and a pub 5 mins away. The local towns of Stroud and Gloucester have plenty going on including markets, shopping and museums.
The cats are very independent so we didn’t see them much outside of meal times. They are perfectly friendly though, they just do their own thing!
Thanks for a great stay, Frances and Roger!

What a great experience! It had been quite a few years since I had been around horses, so this was a real treat to care for Diva, Dee, and Miranda! They were very friendly and allowed Dave and me to get close without any issues. Before Michelle and Ray left for their trip, Michelle gave thorough instructions on how to care for them, so that we were comfortable with their routine.

Gracie and Rusty (mama and puppy) were also fun and easy to love on! It was very entertaining watching the two of them frolicking and playing tug of war with an old cloth.

Michelle and Ray made us feel very welcome and comfortable in their lovely home. We enjoyed the time we were able to spend with them prior to their departure and are looking forward to our next visit!

If you have the opportunity to sit for these guys, I would highly recommend it! Don’t be intimidated by caring for the horses ... it really isn’t difficult at all!
