We’ve been taking our dog to Ruffner’s for almost 3 years and can’t imagine taking her anywhere else! The owners and staff are fantastic, friendly, and take such good care of all of the animals. I always feel comfortable knowing that she’s in great hands and having the time of her life. I would highly recommend Ruffner’s to anyone!
The staff at Ruffner’s is friendly and warm and pet loving. The facility is excellent. Plenty of room to run around. Maggie loves coming here and I think she is sad when we leave. I like that when we get home she’s ready for a nap. Keep doing what you’re doing.
We have used Ruffners for almost 20 years. They genuinely care about your pet, are professional, and communicate promptly when they have a question. I use them for boarding and for drop in daycare. I strongly recommend them as a quality company!
We boarded our pup here years ago, but that's not why we visited recently. We adopted our current pup from Rover Rescue, and Ruffner's was the foster family. With masks, we were able to visit and play with our potential adoptee. Jen answered our multiple questions while we were visiting as well as answered several emails post adoption regarding training. Jen went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable with our decision, even after the adoption. Overall, a wonderful experience.
The staff at Ruffner's is enthusiastic and caring. My dog loves going there. They all know her by name. They are attentive and accommodating. We've been customers for 10 years.
Ruffner's is the best! Highly recommend! We have to be careful not to say Ruffner's out loud in front of Cooper because he gets so excited to go play!
My dogs are always well cared for when we have to leave them at Ruffners. The grooming services are top-notch!
I board my two dogs and two cats here regularly. Jen and the whole staff is amazing! My German Shepherd absolutely loves them and she usually doesn't trust anyone other than me. They are champs dealing with my Siberian Husky who is extremely stubborn and emotional! I always feel like my pets are safe at Ruffner's and would recommend them to friends and family members.
Our pup Emmy loves it here. Emmy is timid and can be nervous about new things. Other places charged 3x as much and did nothing to help or Accommodate her to help the transition. Since bringing her to ruffners, the women of ruffners have gone out of their way to make Emmy have a wonderful experience. Emmy loves it here and she always comes back tired. We have boarded her here as well and been quite satisfied. No you don’t get the webcams and report cards but having seen how much she likes it there I know they’re doing exactly what you want. I would recommend any of our friends or family to use ruffners.
Ruffner's staff is absolutely wonderful! Our 1-year-old pitbull mix LOVES attending doggie daycare weekly and comes home very happy after being boarded for a weekend or week. The staff is honest, friendly and have gone above and beyond to provide the best care for our dog. Any issues are promptly discussed with us, which is so appreciated! We have no worries when we drop our pup off and know he's very well cared for. Their facility is great as well!
We rarely trust people with our dogs. This was the best decision we have ever made. Our dogs were loved, given so much attention, had a blast during group play and absolutely loved every moment. We are now extremely comfortable trusting Pet Suites with our beloved pets.
Wonderful place for your dog to relax and play with other dogs. We rescued Remi and he loves to go and play. I also love that they offer cleaning and nail trimming with the Dremel. The staff is very friendly. They even offer plans so he can go more for less. I would Highly Recommend them!
We have had dogs in our family for 40 years and always had family or friends to help us out with watching our dogs. This time the whole family was going to celebrate our sons wedding in Cancun. PetSuites was the one place we researched that offered everything we were looking for in a boarding facility. While one of our dogs took to it quickly, the other was very shy and sad for a couple days. They communicated everything to us as it was happening. They post photos and pawgress reports, and tell it like it is, no sugar coating. They have live video camera's in the play areas and in the townhouse, so you can look in on your fur babies throughout the day. We chose enrichment sessions and the gold package, as we didn't want them just sitting in a confined crate or room all day and night. If we were on vacation, they should get a vacation too. Our girls were able to share a townhouse for the week. Ultimately they were very well cared for and felt the love from all the staff. I highly recommend PetSuites
Love it here. The staff is absolutely amazing to work with and really really care about the pets. My two come in constantly and each time we walk in they are greeted with so much enthusiasm and love. One of my dogs loves everyone but the other is super attached to me and tends to be a little shy at first. I was so nervous leaving him the first time but he has warmed up so quickly to every single employee that now he has zero interest in me the minute we walk in the door. And if you’ve got a dog who loves to use their brain, their enrichment sessions are worth every penny. Trainer Sam has become an absolute favorite of my littlest guy, who goes crazy anytime he sees her in the lobby now. Added bonus? They take THE BEST pictures of my two that always make me feel so much more at ease when they’re away. 1,000,000/10 would recommend.
We are new to the area and have recently started boarding our dog Scout at Pet Suites St. Charles. She has boarded there several times now and we have nothing but good things to say about the quality of the staff and service there. In addition to the loving care they provide Scout, this place is very well organized and professional. Their website interface is easy to use for setting up appointments, paying deposits, etc. Super clean and obviously well managed, I would definitely recommend them.
We’ve always been super happy with Pet Suites in St. Charles! Our dog has stayed there a handful of times and the staff has always been super responsive and helpful. When our dog wasn’t eating during his first stay they contacted me and asked if it was okay if he had pumpkin with his food and that made me feel like they were really paying attention to him. He also doesn’t do well with other dogs, so the fact that they offer individual play times is amazing. Highly recommend :)
Left our two 8 month old labs at petSuites this last weekend. I was not happy when we picked them up. Everything smelled like pee. Their bedding toys and most of all them,, smelled like they had been sleeping in it. Paid extra to get them out for group play. It was bad.
My dog LOVES coming here - the staff are always so excited to see him, and he loves coming here for Day Care. It is so nice that they have webcams so I can see my baby play with his friends all day while I’m at work - 5/5 recommend
We love this place. Our German shepherd loves to go there. The staff are extremely nice and caring. We can rest assured boarding our dog with them that he is safe and well cared for.
The staff at PetSuites St.Charles are professional, friendly and helpful. They were patient with me when answering my many questions about their facility, process for caring for my dogs and the required shots and vaccinations. They took me on a tour of the facility and ensured I felt comfortable that my pets would be well cared for.
We rented the private play area today for our dogs and it could not have been better! The facility was spacious and clean and the staff member working was extremely friendly and incredibly helpful. Our dogs loved using the agility equipment and playing with the toys. It was well worth the hour drive we made to play here and we will absolutely be back! A hidden gem for sure. Thank you again for hosting us.
Wow, What a nice place. Clean, friendly pups and people. We took our two pups for an interview. We wanted them to be included in group play when they stayed for an upcoming date. We passed with flying colors. Everyone got along, ran, jumped, and played like champs. The open play arena was very clean. Didn't smell like pee poop or bleach. Just clean. Over night kennels we large. Crates for daycare were also the large kind. I know I'll feel comfortably leaving our babies here.
We absolutely love Fydoland and so does our pup Lucy. She receives the best care and just loves all the staff. Thank you for caring for our baby.
It’s winter and we need to introduce our 8 mo old pup to water in prep for boating season! We signed up for a 30 min assisted swim, super affordable, and it worked! Staff was patient and professional, taking cues from our dog and ultimately providing a remarkably positive FIRST swim! Thank you Fydoland!
My dog loves coming here! The boarding and daycare is the best, the accommodations are the best when your dog is boarding. I never have to worry when traveling because I get pictures of him having fun with all of the dogs and staff!
My two goldendoodles love going to fydoland. They are all smiles when I pick them up. The staff are very friendly and handle my boys so well. I had switched from a previous daycare and was worried about my two boys staying overnight since I travel frequently and the owner put my mind at ease. They are extremely prompt with all communication. I highly recommend fydoland. My two boys would love to meet your doggie as well! They love making new friends!
I was amazed at the size of the room and the number of dog toys available. The room was very clean and fresh water was available for my dogs. I would definitely recommend it!
I am so glad that I found this place! These people know what they are doing, are professional, caring and warm. Dino had a great time there (yes, he told me so) and I am looking forward to using more of there services. They have a swimming pool! And, classes! And, do-it-yourself dog wash!
While on vacation, there was a possible medical problem, Fydoland staff treated her as if their own. They took her to our vet and brought her back. Fed her Vet’s recommended meals. She did better as the days went by., thanks to the staffs care! (Would like to think our pup missed us!) Highly recommend without doubt!
Great first experience boarding our pup at Fydoland. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Took very good care of our boy Blue.
Wild Things has really great services and the dog walkers are super nice to my dog. In addition to the walk, they pet him, play with him, give him treats, and speak to him with love. Their online scheduling is very easy to use. After every service, you get a full report of how the walk went, pictures of your dog, and a GPS map of where they went in your neighborhood. Highly Recommend!!!!
I absolutely love Wild Things! The dog walkers are all so kind and you can tell how much they all love the dogs. They are very responsive and reliable too!
We had a bad experience with this pet service, recently. The dog sitter was named Ashely from Aurora. We used them for a week from Dec 5, 2024. We are dealing with replacing carpeting because we believe our dog was not given enough time to complete her duties outside. Our dog has never done anything in our home. She left clumps of poop all over the carpet for a week and my dog peed a few hour before us returning and she just left the pee without cleaning it up in our bedroom. Our dog was stressed and sad upon our arrival home because it is something she never did before and knew it wasn't right. They claimed my dog was sick instead of impatience with this dog sitter. The dog did get sick because she would not eat. It is something we talked about the first time they did an intake with us that she has to eat or she will get sick. My daughter came by and cut up cheese to entice her to eat and said there was nothing wrong with her. The women walked through all our neighbors yards with one neighbor taking pictures of her and my dog pooping on her property without being cleaned up. I live in an association and could be fined for things like this. Ashely took two roles of poop bags but not enough poop in the container to show she used them on my dog. She left the light on in the back outside even though she was taking the dog out in the front after we found she was taking pictures of coyotes close to my dog in the back so we asked her to go out front. Who knows how long the light was on. She was seen with a male her age coming and going into my home. I did not know people could come into my home, I did not approve of??? I now feel uncomfortable knowing two people, one I did not know was in my home. Needless to say, we are very upset because this pet service upset my dog, us, and will cost us lots of money thereafter without taking responsibility for cleaning up properly. My husband and I would like to talk with the owner of this company; no one but the owner.
I can say that my cats and my dog receive the best care from the Wild Things Pet Team. My kitties have grown to love them, which makes going on vacation not at all stressful worrying if they are lonely. I also never feel guilty about coming to work because I know that Julie or Rich will be there for Jaxon the Dog...He loves them so much. I highly recommend using them for whatever your pet sitting needs maybe.
I can't recommend this service enough! They go the extra mile by providing a detailed paragraph and multiple photos after each visit with the animals. They truly exceed expectations! I feel completely at ease leaving our animals in their care, and we'll definitely be using their service for all our future vacations!
We are so grateful for Wild Things Pet Service. Blythe and Jill and the whole staff at Wild Things have been so caring, understanding and reliable. We know they are taking great care of our dogs and our dogs love them! We highly recommend them!!!
I have been a customer of Wild Things Pet Services for many years. The owner, Corrine, genuinely cares about her customers and values feedback to ensure that she and all the pet caretakers are providing the best care to parents and their pets. For more than a year I have had a consistent walker, Julie, take care of my dog, Maxwell. Julie is so kind and respectful. Julie sends me notes everyday about her visit with Maxwell and often shares a pic of him during her visit. It's such a personalized experience. I love my dog immensely and often feel guilty for working all day. But, I know that Maxwell is getting the best care possible from Wild Things Pet Service. I highly recommend this Pet Service.
I can not say enough about Wild Things Pet Service. We have 4 dogs. One older, one a puppy and two very energetic and head strong. They log pictures and update you daily on their routine and play time. It is very comforting to know that your dogs are able to stay in their surroundings to minimize any anxiety they might have with you not being there. We have been very lucky to have Leslie Kasandra and Carrie who take excellent care of our brood. They are exceptional in what they do! Pets are family and I wouldn’t trust my crew to anyone else. Thank you Wild Things Pet Services
Wild Things has been a godsend!! After my husband got a new job that requires more travel/office time, we realized our two dogs would be home alone too long 2-3 days per week. I asked for recommendations for pet sitters in an area Facebook group and received multiple recommendations for Wild Things. Wild Things was super prompt in getting us on the schedule and setting up an orientation. The manager, Tom, came to our home to meet our boys and walk through what a visit would entail. It has been nothing but smooth sailing since! Pricing is reasonable, and scheduling/cancelling is easy. We receive notification when the sitter starts the visit and a little journal entry with pictures. So cute! I also appreciate that Wild Things has never demonstrated any (unfair) breed preference since both of our boys are larger dogs - rescue mutts with some bully breed in them. Beyond grateful for Wild Things (especially Tom) and would highly recommend their services!
There aren’t words to express how incredible this service is.I was at the airport in the midst of a crisis with another pet sitting service and within 10 minutes Tom had lined up people to take care of our dogs. He even offered to help get a locksmith if one was needed. We’ve used Wild Things in the past with excellent results. I’ll never use anybody else again. They’ve earned 10 stars. 5 just isn’t enough.
Simply Pets has done an amazing job with our puppy. They have been walking him since he was 10 weeks old (and he isn't always easy to deal with). They are flexible with their schedule and always provide consistent service. They are professional and accommodating. The website/app is super easy and convenient to navigate. However, they are always just a phone call away. This truly is a premium pet care service. I love getting daily notes and pictures!
We have had Simply Pets take care of our cats several times now, for varying trip lengths and have always been very happy! We love getting the visit notes and the pictures after each visit. They are always super to easy to work with, too! Definitely recommend them!
Simply Pets is a reliable, professional and caring pet service. Their ability to hire the right people and train them results in success. Plus they go above and beyond. When our dog got sick we were notified immediately and all their schedules quickly rearranged so the dog got quick vet care and we were kept informed through it all. We just used them when we were away for 17 days - we received details of every visit that showed they really know our dogs and came home to happy, content dogs. Simply Pets is highly recommended.
Simply Pets is ah-mah-zing! Leaving a cat at home for an extended time is always worrying. But I never once worried with Simply Pets taking over. I was aware of how my cat was doing all throughout my time away. My cat was so well taken care of and the care giver went above and beyond with my cat and the household, too! I could not be more enthusiastic about Simply Pets and recommend them more.
SImply Pets took excellent care of our 15 year old black lab while we were out of town for 4 days. We were hesitant to leave her because she has many health issues and takes many medications, etc. Josie and Andrea were awesome and gave us updates, pictures and let us know how she was doing at every visit. I would highly recommend this service!
I used Simply Pets Pet Sitting service while on vacation for my cat and small dog…Wonderful experience for both me and my fur boys… 3 visits a day, feeding, walking, cat box cleaning, lots of treats and hugs and kisses…each sitter posted a report of the visit ( with pictures!) The benefit of staying in their familiar surroundings is priceless! The pricing is competitive with boarding with a lot less stress and mess…and my mail was collected and my balcony plants were watered…Thank you Colleen, Josie, and Krisi!
They took such good care of our dog while we were away, they sent us a journal log from each visit with photos. I would highly recommend them.
The the pet sitters are amazing! Detailed notes after every visit!
Simply Pets is fantastic! Amazing care and communication.
DavidGeorge (owner of Dogtopia South Elgin) is all businessman and does not care about the Dogs at all. I have gone to a different doggy hotel/daycare and they treat my dog much better. I will be very hesitant to ever recommend Dogtopia to anyone. Whenever any staff person talks to a guest it seems like a scripted conversation. It’s very business oriented and not about treating people like people. I have withdrawn Zeus from daycare/boarding from Dogtopia and Zeus is doing a lot better. I understand every dog is different but I would have to say management at Dogtopia is not good at all. Even his own staff member say that they do not like the new owner.
My poodle was going to Dogtopia 2-3 days a week & we loved taking her there! Everyone there was so nice and it gave us so much peace of mind throughout the day that she was being watched when we were not home. We started taking her to daycare because she had really bad separation anxiety & her being in daycare helped her get through her anxiety & now she can stay home all by herself! They also take super cute pictures of the dogs!
I like the calm staff and the redirecting techniques used by staff when the dogs can't resolve their issues on their own. Cameras are a huge plus so I can see how our fur baby is doing. The facility is always clean and there is always parking close to the door. The app makes it convenient to make upcoming reservations for daycare and spa/grooming days. Imari is always tuckered out after her time with her 'frens'.
This team is the absolute best. Initially when we got our pups, she was a 7 month old nervous little thing who was afraid to come. Now, as soon as we mention "do you want to go to puppy play time" her tail starts wagging and she starts barking telling us to hurry up and get ready to take her in the morning. Our Millie even knows when we're getting close as she starts her "wiggle-butt" (she doesn't have a tail) and starts getting excited. The team is friendly, and they keep a great eye on our pup. We even had an incident where our pup was playing a little rough with one of her BFFF's and the other pup accidentally scratched our Millie drawing a little bit of blood. (Accidentally like puppies do sometimes). They gave us a call right away to make sure we were aware, applied some first aid, and then monitored her as she went back into the room to play. They were incredibly professional. We absolutely love having a place that we trust to bring our puppy during the days that my wife and I are busier or when we just know our puppy wants a little extra fun with other dogs. If you're debating on giving Dogtopia a shot, please do! The socialization your dog experiences is incredibly valuable and this team at the South Elgin location is a team that you can absolutely trust!
We absolutely LOVE Dogtopia of South Elgin! I can't even say the word "Dogtopia" in my house without both of my dogs going crazy and waiting by their leashes to go play with their fur-friends! The staff is amazing as well. Highly recommend taking your dogs here!
I've always had the best experience. At period it's great people and friendly and they treat my very buddy. Pretty good af. There's an incident where chase gets hurt. They call me and they try to fix it right away. 3. Thumbs up to these guys.
Murphy comes home from Dogtopia exhausted from a full day of play and fun!! When we get him pampered with a bath and nails he looks amazing!! Love the cams so we can check in on him!!
Being completely honest, but I'm disappointed in Dogtopia and would NOT recommend this place to anyone who actually loves their dog. I brought my rescue dog, Oliver, here because he loves playing with other dogs, and gets very excited for the dog park! Oliver is extremely very gentle and loving. A bit too much. He is a lover, not a fighter. I thought this place would be prefect for him. Oliver has been there twice within a month, and both times he returned with visible injuries. First visit, a large gash on his back, and a bunch of little scratches on his body. I dropped Oliver off the first time.... When my husband picked Oliver up, and the girl realized the dog he was there for.... She said to my husband, "We didn't have any fights or anything like that today", immediately after she paged the back to bring Oliver out to go home. My husband said that is a very weird statement to make when he didn't ask or say anything to her, besides bringing Oliver out to go home. I have seen him play with dogs of all sizes and tempers for hours, and he has never had scratches like this, see pictures I attached!! The gash on his back was so deep that it left a permanent scar. Just a bad reminder of Dogtopia. I spoke to the manager, Dave, to figure out what happened and how we can prevent this moving forward. What a waste of time. He told me what I already know, and didn't even offer a refund or any resolution of any sort... He just told me, "Well, that's how dogs play and we do have staff that would break up any aggressive fighting". Then he went on to said they have cameras you can always check your dog. Yes, I know, I always check the cameras. They're poor quality, and constantly freeze. Maybe you should review the footage, since it's your job?? When the cameras did work, Oliver was sitting by the door wanting to leave, or he was following a worker with his tail and head down. I know my dog and how he plays. Oliver would rather go to the Vet than Dogtopia. The second time I dropped him off, he didn't want to get out of the car, which definitely was out of fear. When he returned with more wounds, I called the manager. SEE ATTACHED PICTURES!!!!! Picture with the red circle is from today... over a month later.... His first visit was on October 22, 2023. According to Anderson Human in South Elgin, our dog was abused and thrown in the dumpster, all before we adopted him at 6 months old. He is 2 years old now, and improved so much..... but places like Dogtopia make it a priority to erase the progress, then deny any involvement to make a dollar. There is a reason they cost $40 per day. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE AND PAY MORE TO AVOID THESE PEOPLE!
I have had a very encouraging and positive experience with this location. I have to say I am extremely happy to have found such a loving staff and an owner that is really engaging and involved with customers, staff and doggies. I appreciate the video cams even with it being laggy at times, i can always see a very active and sometime chaotic scene. It cannot be an easy task to care and play with all the furry babies but they all seem to enjoy their jobs and are extremely pleasant when i arrive to get my puppy. Kudos to the whole staff and Dave for all the hard work they do to ensure i can have peace of mind at work
I can confidently say every time I drop my dog off I know he is going to be well taken care of. He truly enjoys getting to play with other dogs but more so, all the attention he receives from each staff member. Every time I check the cameras he is getting tons of love. Not to mention, all the cute crafts he gets to participate in and bring home. Thank you for being such a trustworthy facility that both Milo & I can count on!
I have been taking my dog Lyla here for over two years and she loves it! She’s always excited to hang with the pups and the staff. The grooming is great and they greet her and myself with excitement every time. I feel like she’s in great hands with people who really care for her!
My dog Franklin LOVES Depaw. He couldn’t care less when I leave to drop him off. He is a blur in his pictures that I receive in his nightly report cards when he is boarded, because he is having too much fun to sit still! He is wiped out for days after a visit to Depaw, and for a dog with his energy level, I greatly appreciate that! I have personally gotten to know some of the staff, and I know the owner well, and I can say that they are wonderful, trustworthy, honest, and genuine people who truly want the best for your pet. Haven’t met a bad egg yet! Depaw is the best! It will be your pet’s home away from home.
If you truly care about your dog’s health, well-being, and overall happiness, DO NOT board them here. This facility and staff are not equipped to care for senior dogs, or any dog that might need a little extra attention. It seems like they care more about money than truly caring for your pet as if they were their own. I boarded my 13 year old lab mix here for 4 nights and this was my experience. Mind you, I paid for the TLC package ($100 per night) • Report cards were sent inconsistently or not at all. They only put positive things on the report cards. They provided maybe 3 pictures per day, never a video. I had to call to ask them to put my dog’s walk times on the report card and even after that they left out most of his walk times. • I was never told that my dog had any accidents. • I was never told that he would urinate just before administering his medication. Clearly, he was scared, and I was never contacted. They said my dog didn’t seem scared because he wasn’t shaking… • They blatantly ignored my instructions when it came to medication. I was told they left medication wrapped in cheese for an hour in his suite, and when he didn’t eat them, they unwrapped them and pilled my dog. Not only did I never state to leave it on the floor for an hour, I never said to take it out of the cheese when pilling my dog. I’m sure the medication was disintegrated by that point and caused trauma for my dog during the process. I believe they didn’t wrap his medication in cheese because I was given pretty much all the cheese back that I provided. • I provided a bag of treats to be given immediately after pilling my dog, and I was given back a full bag. Which means they didn’t positively reinforce my dog like I asked after shoving pills down his throat. • The night I picked my dog up and realized what went on, I called DePaw and left a message with an induvial to have the manager call me. I never received a call. I then emailed maybe 5 days later, and I finally got a call a week later. When I talked to the manager, she had no explanation as to why my instructions weren’t followed. She really didn’t know what to say to me. She apologized once and wasn’t sincere at all. To be paying $400 for a facility to clearly disregard my instructions and make up their own when it comes to my dog’s medication is completely unacceptable. Don’t you think they would communicate if my dog urinated all over his bedding when it was medication time? No. It wasn’t even included on a report card. I was across the country and thinking only good things since that’s all they would include on report cards. Even when I called a few times during his stay, they never mentioned anything. These people don’t care. They’ll withhold pertinent information regarding your pet. They showed no empathy. No matter what you put for instructions on your pet’s profile, DePaw will end up doing whatever they want. Please don’t leave your dogs here. I really wanted to like this place. DePaw I hope you do better. This is not the “award winning dog boarding” that is advertised in the least.
Cannot say enough great things about DEPAW. We have done one on one training with Grace, who is so knowledgeable and a really sweet person. We've done pack walks led by Deb, who really knows her stuff and makes dog training fun. Additionally, we have trusted our pup to board with DePAW countless times over the last year and have really enjoyed getting to know the staff and they take such great care of the dogs. Highly recommend this facility for ANYTHING per related!
Unprofessional establishment. Dogs are on pavement all day and treated poorly. If you want your dog to get pets and love don’t send them here! Dogs are exposed to bleach and cleaning chemicals regularly. Unimpressed with their lack of abilities to care for my dog 👎🏼 …
I think this is a great place! My dog had a wonderful time and was well supervised and I'm going to bring him back for a playdate again, I think he's going to go every week!!
Such a kind and loving staff! I love that they truly are all animal people & take such good care of our fur baby!
If you take your pup here, and drive around the building down commerce drive, you will see this kennel they put dogs in all the time. No greenery for them to even pee on. The first time I witnessed it, it was a short haired pitty in the snow and 17 degrees absolutely shouting and barking to get let in. I had to physically walk in to the business and tell them to let that poor baby inside. This place charges way too much to be putting your dog in an empty kennel in the cold and rain and when they jump on the doors to come in and bark for 10 minutes or more at a time, they come out and yell at your dog. I have complained many times because I work on the same street, and they’re always rude. Then they always let the dog in RIGHT AWAY. Don’t take your dog here, I wouldn’t. Not for the price! This is just one of the times I witnessed this! Side note in this video this poor guy had already been barking for 10+minutes, and it was raining/sleeting outside. Then the worker finally came out after I called and complained, and she started screaming at him and intimidated him to back away from the door. I wish I would have kept recording but I HAD TO CALL
We took our dog here for less than a month and our dog got seriously injured by another dog, with her ear being bit in half. It required stitches and she had to wear a cone for six weeks after. They downplayed it in the moment and then didn't so much as call or send an email to check on her and see how she was doing afterwards. They didn’t even apologize until we emailed them after the fact, and when they did email us back they said we’d hear from their GM as a followup and we never did. Our dog had previously gone to another doggy daycare for 3 years without any issues. Ultimate, I wouldn’t recommend sending your dogs here.
DePAW remains my favorite for training and boarding my dog. You can tell the love and passion they put into taking care of their client dogs and doing little things to make their services outstanding. Recently they had the adorable opportunity to take a free picture of your dog with Santa Claus!
We absolutely love Geneva Dogtopia!! Each staff member is clearly a dog lover, and it brings such comfort knowing that when we drop our dog off with them! We utilize their services two times a week for doggie day care, and our dog gets beyond excited to go! We say "Dogtopia" at home and he starts listening very intently and gets excited to go for a ride to spend the day with doggie friends and Dogtopia staff!
Our pup Murphy loves to come to the daycare. Staff are very kind and attentive. Would highly recommend
First time visitor, Great location , Friendly Caring Staff ! Truly Committed to health and Well being of our beloved furry Family member ! Great Job Dogtopia ! Keep up the Great Work ! 🦮🦮😉👍 …
The staff here truly love dogs. We boarded our golden doodle and I checked on her through the webcam. See the photo with the staff member hugging her! Their groomer, JoJo, gave her this wonderful cut, her first!
Penny has been going to daycare at Dogtopia in Geneva, IL since she was a puppy and we really appreciate all that they have to offer! Occasionally if she is up near my parents up north she will also go to the Dogtopia in Deer Park, IL. It's great to have multiple locations in our northwest suburb area! We have full trust in Dogtopia and the staff and are always assured that Penny is being cared for and monitored with other dogs. She loves her play time there so much that she runs in each time I drop her off and the staff is always so unbelievably friendly, accommodating, and accepting of our sometimes last minute daycare requests. They also have a webcam so when I'm at work I appreciate being able to check in occasionally just to peek at what Penny is up to. 10/10 would recommend the Dogtopia family to anyone that is looking for daycare/boarding!
The staff at Dogtopia are AMAZING! They love on our dog, Old Man Winnie, like he's their own:) Winnie is always happy to go play with his furry and human friends at Dogtopia!
Dogtopia in Geneva is wonderful! They are accommodating, professional, and treat my dog with so much compassion. If I need to cancel an appointment or make an appointment day-of, they take care of it right away! I also love how much play time the dogs get - other places have longer crate times than play times - so I know my pup is tired when she gets picked up. Plus their Daycare packages include a free bath and a free night of boarding each month! Such a deal!
I love bringing my young dog to daycare at Dogtopia! He is gaining social skills and burning a lot of energy while he is there. The staff are friendly and helpful as well as clearly love the dogs in their care. I particularly like the webcams so I can check in on my dog and see how much fun he is having. I often recommend Dogtopia to others and will continue to do so.
We have been using Dogtopia off and on for several years now and love it. The staff keeps a close eye on everything and informs us of any issues during the stay - one time it was that he didn’t eat (due to a change in medication, nothing that they did) and another time that they were concerned about a mass on his leg (already had surgery scheduled to remove it). Despite having a lot of separation anxiety, our dog seems to not have any issues there and seems to enjoy his time. Keep up the good work!
Not that impressed. Took a while to get my dogs in because they needed to have an evaluation. After the evaluation, I took my dogs in for the first day and was waiting a couple minutes before I was even greeted and the dogs were brought back. Dogs were supposed to have a picture day according to the calendar and nothing was done/no explanation given. When our dogs came home, I didn’t even notice they were that tired. Won’t be going back.
