Adam was a great house sitter for me, for nearly a week! He was great about taking all my instructions before the sit happened so I knew he knew where everything was and what was expected of him (and I didn't have to worry about explaining things while I was on my trip!). He was also great about communicating with me throughout the week about how my cat was doing (I asked for pictures). He went out of his way to play with my cat and to keep my home neat and clean. I felt very secure and at ease being away and knowing Adam was holding down the fort.
Maria provided lots information prior to the sit for both the cats & her home making it very easy. The house is clean, comfortable & in a good location. The cats were adorable, chatty & cuddly!
I enjoyed my sit with Sandeep and Bhavana - they were very kind and were great with communication. They have a lovely home and of course, two sweet dogs! Maui and Kona were energetic and affectionate, and also loved to cuddle on the couch in the evenings. I had a great stay with them!
Rosie and Bandit were sweet pups that will love to simply follow you around and get attention! Michelle did a very good job of continuing to communicate and answering any questions that arose while she was gone. The area is beautiful with lots of close restaurants, and only about 20 minutes to downtown dallas.
This was my maiden voyage into house sitting. And .....I must say I could not have asked for more hospitable homeowners. These folks were incredibly welcoming, generous, interesting and kind people. From the day of my arrival, one day early, they immediately introduced me to their routine, the neighbors and to the area shopping and sights. Over dinner they reviewed instructions for the care of their beautiful home. I even had some free gardening tips from their gardener who stopped by to prune the bountiful garden they left behind for me to munch on. This home stands in a stunning location, is clean and comfortable. Unfortunately their cat of many years passed before my arrival so I had only the house to care for. All in all a very special couple and a fabulous place to house sit. If you are offered an opportunity......grab it and enjoy. You won't be disappointed! What an absolutely wonderful stay in every way possible! Little Bear the kitty captured my heart for sure…she loves her brushings and pets ..purring up a storm. She has hilarious little quirks like hiding under the covers for hours in the afternoon (a little lump in the middle of the comforter) and having runarounds in the morning or pouncing on her string …but mostly she loves to gaze out the windows from each of her two perches in serious contemplation:) Lance and Karen made sure I had ample space for my personal belongings as well as anything I needed for kitchen use, food, and comfort (as well as a gift card to a superb Italian restaurant close by:) Communication was extra good, clear, and on point with everything laid out with lots of thoughtful consideration. All of this I appreciated very much. We also have a unique Sicily connection which made things extra fun and interesting to chat about:) Their condo is incredibly open and spacious, beautifully designed, extra clean and organized.. with stunning views of the city. I can only give them the highest of recommendations and would absolutely sit for them again.
This was a wonderful cat sit! Karl & Vanessa have a lovely, safe apartment in a great Manhattan location. We started with a tour and full instructions and remained in communication throughout our stay. Winston is a sweet and handsome boy. We hung out with him a lot and he gave great lap cuddles in return. We miss him already! Overall an exceptional sit and we hope to have the opportunity to return!
