Matthew has raised the bar for hosts on this network. Matthew’s dogs are absolutely darling and superb company. I loved walking everywhere with them. They were so well turned out they made me look amazing. Days before leaving I was already looking forward to coming back to see them. The village is lovely and well situated for walking. The neighbours were so kind, stopping to chat when I came across them and one even knocked to ask if they could bring me anything! As for Matthew, he made sure I had everything I needed to make the sit a success. He picked me up in a neighbouring village so I could meet Sky and Thistle, introduced me to a vet and his neighbours, took me around favourite walks, and made sure I was well provisioned in the house. I was completely comfortable there on my own. Only a man who loves his home and animals would make such an effort. His carefulness and thoughtfulness were more than gestures and most appreciated. I’d say yes to Matthew whenever possible.
Looking after of Luna was such a delight. She is well behaved and easy to take care of. Georgia and Max were great hosts and made sure that I had everything I needed. I felt comfortable in their spacious apartment and enjoyed the garden and would highly recommend this sit. Thank you for everything Georgia and Max. Erika
This was our first sit and it was amazing! Susan had everything well organized and Vanna(her dog) was prefect…..so easy to be around. It was four enjoyable and relaxing days.
I spent a delightful short sit at William’s comfortable Tudor house near Tewkesbury. Bonnie and Rita the dogs are sweethearts who both want to be in your lap when sitting down and get along very well with each other. On a walk in Longdon, Bonnie is funny - she seems to want to avoid walking by the church graveyard but has no problem walking through it. The cats, Eve and Tiger hang out on their own terms but they do seem to like attention. William’s communication is excellent with all you need to know written down. There are chickens too so you get fresh eggs daily. If you get into Tewkesbury, visit the Tewkesbury Museum to learn about the war of the roses and the Tewkesbury fair (a big deal). And a Cypriot English breakfast at cafe Mer Med is excellent.
Pip and Tia were great fun. Susanne and Steve have a beautiful zen garden and lovely home. Great sit. Highly recommend If you have a chance to sit in the fabulous Bellingham.
We enjoyed Amanda’s lovely house and perfectly behaved kitty brothers Chas and Dave. Fred and Ginger are mesmerizingly elegant goldfish and we found it great fun watching them. The train is a short walk away. We did a trip to Brighton and one into London after researching the books Amanda left us.
