I/we had the best time ever with the three pets, which by the end of the stay were called Jozie poos, Schnappsicle, and Guinny. Beautiful animals with distinct, funny personalities. Jozie is so loyal and playful, Schnapps is so loving and attentive, and Guinness is so independent and sleek. The house is stunning (tempted to buy in that area) and I had some of the best sleeps I've ever had. The local area is gorgeous with great shops and the perfect distance from the city centre. Genna and Brent were wonderful hosts. My favourite parts of the stay were the garden, the cosy fireplace, the office (which made me very productive), the bath (total spa experience!!) and being part of the pack at night sleeping all together! I can't say enough about the kindness of Jeremy and Ewa. They gave me a ride from/to the airport and even hosted me an extra night until my flight the next day. They super sweet and welcoming, made sure I was comfortable in their home. Their apartment has the best view, you open the shades in the morning to the beautiful water, watch the surfers, then see sunsets at night. Public transportation is very close and going into Porto center is easy. The apartment has everything you need. Including Piper the cutie! A bit skittish at first, but once she got used to me, she'd be on my lap for hours. Morning and evening petting/brushing is her favorite :). I would love to come back again and stay with Piper. Thank you so much!
Staying at Kristin and Andrew’s place was a dream! I loved the beautiful house and spending quality time with Roxy. She was with me most of the time, unless she was getting sun in the morning in the upstairs bedroom. She would be sure to tell me when she was hungry, and when she wanted water from the tap in the bathroom! She’s a smart cookie. She even knew I was tired working on my laptop and would come sit right in front of it, so I couldn’t work anymore! Lol. I also cooked some wonderful healthy meals in the gorgeous kitchen with produce from the nearby farmers market. The ocean is just a mile away and the sunrises there were amazing. Kristin and Andrew were always super responsive, kind, considerate and communicated right away when there were a few changes in plans. Was one of the best pet sits ever, I highly recommend.
Aly's pets are the sweetest animals I've ever met. The location is ideal in Harlem. Super close to the train, a grocery store, a park with a dog park, and so much more. The animals got along so well the entire time. Aly had toys and spaces for the pets to play and sleep peacefully. I was very happy with my entire stay.
I had a great time at Georgia’s and Draco‘s! These two are so cute, they give so much love, and they are so funny! Georgia knows what she wants and she tells you. She doesn’t like the rain and she shows you. And we had lots of rainy days in March. She’s not very into walking a lot, but she’s happy to get some fresh air and knows where to go… she made me discover a new place the very last day of the sit. Draco will give you love all the time. He has this amazing way of looking at you that you will melt for. Wherever you go in the house, they will follow you. They like watching movies and listening to music :) and Georgia will always answer whenever you will talk to her with her sweetest look. Marcella and Mario were very welcoming and adorable! The day I met them they invited me for lunch and I got to know the two sweeties. Marcella was very responsive when I was texting her while she was thousands of miles away. Thank you again for trusting me! I would definitely take care of Georgia and Draco again! Vale
Both Jake and Louise are well-rehearsed in having a house/pet sitter. Jake was a kind and informative host! He provided lots of information before and upon arrival for the sit. Louise is a sweet and mellow doggie. She will train YOU and lead you to the best walking spots for her. Such as the lookout point. Beautiful, especially at sunset.
The Truckee/Tahoe area is beautiful in any season with much to offer. This well-appointed home located in a beautiful, friendly neighborhood makes it a wonderful place to stay/sit.
