The parent! Maya is freaking awesome! She's so easy going, and welcoming that you are going to love this house sit! Her home is so nice, and the energy feels so good. I had my best sleeps there haha The animals: OMG Romeo is a true love bug! He is the sweetest little guy that gives so much love. Mary and Lydia do their own thing but still want to be loved, in their own way.
Veronica welcomed us very warmly into her beautiful country home for a pre-Sit visit a few days before as our respective travel schedules meant we would not meet on the day. We went through our duties and met all the delightful animals! Minnie and Snoopy the dogs are both totally adorable and a real double act! They followed us around everywhere and are both so sweet and affectionate. Despite both being 13 they are full of energy, especially Minnie, who scampers around on the walks like a young pup! Ziggy the cat is also super sweet and affectionate and loved to come and visit us in bed or for a cuddle on the sofa. The ponies and chickens have a simple routine and are easy to care for. Veronicas home is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and spacious and we had a super cosy room with ensuite. The large kitchen/dining room/living room became our hang out space of choice- a warm and cosy place especially with the woodburner on during the cold days of our stay. Communication with Veronica was excellent at all times. This was a really enjoyable sit and we'd be delighted to return for a future sit- especially in the summer when we can enjoy the pool & beautiful garden too! We highly recommend this sit!
Karin, Giles and crew were great! Karin and Giles were very kind and accommodating and their fur kids were so very sweet. Great neighborhood to walk Teacup, and she really enjoyed the walks too. The kitties warmed up quickly and had great personalities. Lily is a sweet ole gal and enjoyed a daily sunbathe session in the back yard. The home was clean and comfortable and there were plenty of kitchen items that made cooking at home easy. I would definitely sit here again.
Rachel is kindness personified. She let me sleep in the apartment the night before and after the housesit and even let me use her address for mail. She is incredibly helpful and communicative. We had such a nice chat about all our travels. Sonar was incredibly sweet and I will miss him. He loved cuddling with me and I loved it so much. It's really cute how much he adores his food and how excited he gets when it's feeding time. He knows the feeding times exactly and is incredibly clever at the feeding games. I would love to look after him again. I felt very comfortable in the apartment and the location close to the beach and stores is perfect.
What a wonderful sit! Although only a short amount of time, I felt very welcomed and comfortable in the house. Both cats were wonderful and I had no problems, but ‘Little’ definitely stole the show and won over my heart. She did love a cuddle! I already have another sit booked and am very much looking forward to it. :)
Monty is such an easy cat to look after. He has a real cat personality but at the same time very friendly and will let you know when he’s hungry. Julie and Edwina were very welcoming. Their home is comfortable and it’s easy to get around the attractions especially Bannockburn Battleground at the back of the property. I can highly recommend this sit to anyone with Stirling being a great place to visit and only 15 minutes away from the Kelpies and less than an hour to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Perth.
